Hello to you! Vanessa here again today with a very yellow card using various yummy stamps sets. I've been dreaming of eating Granita di Limone in Sicily lately, so a lemon themed card happened:

I first inked my white cardstock panel with turquoise Distress Ink and added ink droplets before adhering the piece to the card. Now I stamped all the images, colored them with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered the pieces to the card, popping-up some with foam tape.

Now I die-cut the Sweet Word Die from white cardstock, colored it with Copics and adhered it. Finally, I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock, heat-embossed it with white embossing powder and adhered it to the card.

Hi everyone, Anja here today with a new inspiration project. When I saw the sweet elephant included in the Savanna Safari set, I knew I wanted to switch things up a bit and create a CAS slimline baby card. I went with a monochromatic pink and purple color scheme to welcome a little baby girl.

I stamped the elephant three times in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink onto polka dot patterned paper from the Dots & Stripes Pastels Paper pack. I cut them out with the coordinating die and added white details to the eyes and the feet with a gelly roll pen.

For the ground, I masked off two thirds of some Bristol cardstock and blended on the Distress Oxide Inks Milled Lavender and Dusty Concord. I let it dry completely and stamped the sentiment from the Coastal Cuties set in VersaMark Ink. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Finally, I adhered the Bristol cardstock panel to a purple card base, popped up the elephants with foam tape and added matching Pink & Purple Heart Confetti clay embellishments.

Designers Choice Cards with Tammy and Ana

Hi friends! Tammy here sharing this fun under the sea card. I LOVE underwater themed cards, so I combined some of my favorites, Best Fishes and Sea You Soon to create today's card.

To begin, I cut a rectangle from the Summer Splash Paper. I then cut out a window using the largest die from the Stitched Arch Dies. Next, I created my background by ink blending Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers, and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks. I splattered some water droplets onto my background and blotted up to create some interest to the water. I created the sandy border by cutting a piece of Bristol cardstock with the Woodlands Borders Die, ink blending with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks, and attached to my inked background. Next, I adhered my wave patterned paper over my background, using foam tape for dimension.

I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and cut out the images from the following sets: Best Fishes/ Coordinating Dies, Beach Babies/ Coordinating Dies, Sea You Soon/ Coordinating Dies

I arranged my under the sea critters onto my card and attached some with foam tape for dimension and stamped the sentiment from Best Fishes along the bottom of my card with black ink. To complete my card, I added some Sparkling Clear Crystals to create some bubbles. Finally, I attached my completed card front to a white A2 card base.

Hello crafty friends! It’s Ana today with a super sweet birthday card featuring Silly Sloths stamps and dies, Comic Strips Everyday dies as well as Happy word die and Flirty Flowers paper pack.

I started with die cutting green floral paper (from Flirty paper pack) with Comic Strip Everyday dies, then die cut another frame/background from white cardstock. I die cut the word happy 4 times out of white cardstock, layered them, then inked the sentiment and the background with Salty Ocean and Twisted Citron distress inks. I white heat embossed the word birthday on a piece of black cardstock, then trimmed the strip.

I stamped the sloths and foliage with Memento Tuxedo black ink, colored them with Copic markers, cut them with coordinating dies then started assembling the card. I popped the frame with thin strips of foam tape, then inserted inked background pieces.

I added the happy word dies cut to the center and adhered the sloths and foliage with liquid glue and foam tape. To finish the card, I added a few highlights with white gel pen!

Hi everyone, Leanne here! I have a pretty summer themed card to share today along with some tips for getting the best results with layering stamps. I'm sure we all can agree that Sunny Studio has some beautiful layering stamp sets. The card I'm sharing showcases the one of the newest layering sets called Radiant Plumeria.

Over the years I've tried out many different kinds of white card stock to stamp on. When using solid image stamps, I think it's very important to use a good quality card stock. When I'm stamping layered images, I always use Papertrey Ink's Stamper's Select white card stock. It's a 110 lb. weight bright white card stock which absorbs the ink evenly for a beautiful stamped image every time.  

Another important tip I have for getting nice crisp stamped images, is taking a white eraser and rubbing it over the the stamp before apply any ink. This is really helpful with new stamps. The eraser will rub off any residue and reduces the slickness of the stamp's surface which results in better ink coverage over the stamp. Rubbing the eraser over the stamp before inking has always helped me to get a clean solid image with just one application of ink. 

When using highly detailed layering stamps like the ones in the Radiant Plumeria set, my next tip is an absolute must! After stamping each layer, use a heat gun to dry the ink. As you can see on my card, the long skinny leaves have some very fine vein detail. I used just two stamp layers to get that detail. I stamped the first solid layer and then hit it with my heat gun to dry the ink. Then when I stamped the second layer, that image didn't get absorbed into the first quite so much and the vein detail is much more visible. I used this same trick for stamping all the flowers which have many layers.

Hello to you! Vanessa here today with a summer-themed hello card using Sealiously Sweet. These cuties are enjoying a relaxing day at the beach:

I first inked my white cardstock panel with turquoise and yellow Distress Inks and stamped the waves from Tropical Scenes. Then I die-cut some of the waves with the matching dies and adhered the panel to the card. I die-cut the island from cardstock, inked it with Distress Inks, applied ink droplets, adhered the piece and trimmed off the edge. Now I stamped all the images, colored them with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered the pieces to the card, raising some with foam tape. 

Finally, I die-cut the Hello Word Die from white cardstock, inked it with turquoise Distress Ink and adhered it to the card. These tiny wave dies are genius! I loved tucking the images in.

Designers Choice Cards with Ashley and Angelica

Hello everyone! It's Ashley today with another ocean themed card combining old and new sets! I just love the coral reef from Tropical Scenes so much that I can't stop creating ocean scenes! 

For this card, I cut my white cardstock to 6.25" x 3.5". I love this size because it gives me a bit more space to work with, but the card still fits in a standard letter sized envelope! I blended Distress Oxides in Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, and Blueprint Sketch for the water and splattered with white acrylic paint.

I stamped the coral reef from Tropical Scenes in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics before cutting it out with the matching die. I did have to extend the sand a bit on each side to cover the bottom of the card completely. I added a few plants from Best Fishes to the ends to hide the gaps. I stamped several critters from Best Fishes along with the octopus from Sea You Soon in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored with Copics, and cut them out with the matching dies. I added the ocean creatures to the card with foam squares for dimension.

For my sentiment, I combined the "jawsome" from Best Fishes with phrases from Happy Thoughts. I love this scripty font so much, and it is so easy to mix and match words from different sets to create a custom phrase! I stamped the sentiment I created in VersaMark ink and embossed with white. I finished the card with a few Studio Katia Iridescent Crystals for a bit of sparkle.

Hi friends! This is Angelica, and today I have a quick rainbow card to share with you.

I used a Heartstrings Border Die to die-cut rows of hearts from a white panel. I attached the panel to another panel, and filled in the hearts with colored hearts. I used the Rainbow word die to die-cut black card stock, and finished with an Over The Rainbow sentiment.
