Summer Sweets Cards with Tammy and Ana

Hi there! Tammy here sharing this sweet card, featuring Summer Sweets from the newest releaseI am not a sweet eater (give me ALLL the savory), but I will be reaching for this set quite often, as I have a house full of people with a major sweet tooth!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Summer Sweets Stitched Scallop Dies Dessert Themed Birthday Card by Tammy Stark

To begin, I cut an A2 rectangle, using the Dots & Stripes Pastels Paper. Next, I cut a 2 1/2" strip of Bristol smooth cardstock and lightly ink blended the background with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. I added some water splatters and watered down Peacock Feathers ink with a fine paintbrush to add some interest. Using the Stitched Scallop DiesI cut 2 white borders, attached them behind my inked panel on the top and bottom, and attached it to the center of the polka dot paper.

Next, I stamped the images from Summer Sweets using Memento Tuxedo Black Inkcolored with Copic markers, and cut out with the coordinating Summer Sweets Dies.

Copic Colors used: Aqua: BG10, BG11, BG13; Pink: R81, R83, R85; Red: R22, R24, R29; Browns: E30, E31, E34, E59, E57, E55; Cream: YR30

I stamped the sentiment from Summer Sweets in black ink, then arranged the colored images onto my card, attaching with foam tape for dimension. To finish my card, I attached my card front to an A2 white card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!!

Hello crafty friends! It’s Ana here today sharing a delicious card featuring newly released Summer Sweets stamps and dies. For this yummy summer vibes card design, I decided to use all the images from the set! They were just too cute and I couldn’t bring myself to leave one behind!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Summer Sweets Frilly Frame Dies Dessert Themed Birthday Card by Ana Anderson

I stamped, colored the images with alcohol markers then stamped a little face on each one. I added some highlights with fine liners and white get pen, then cut them out with coordinating dies.

I used Frilly Frames Retro Petals outline die to die cut the background panel, then inked the center of the panel with Salty Ocean Distress ink. I backed the panel with rainbow striped patterned paper from Rainbow Bright paper pack. Next, I stamped the sentiment, from the Summer Sweets set, then adhered the images with liquid glue and foam tape.

And just because this card is full of yummies, I added Ice Cream Chocolate Sprinkles around the sentiment! I thought it was the perfect touch to this array of Summer Sweets!

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post and got inspired. I will see you next week and until then I wish you happy crafting!

Potted Rose Cards with Angelica and Mindy

Hi friends! This is Angelica, and today I am sharing a card featuring the lovely Potted Roses stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Potted Rose Frilly Frame Dies Friendship Card by Angelica Conrad

I used the coordinating dies to die-cut white card stock. I die-cut first, then die-cut a template to stamp the roses and leaves. This makes stamping the layers quick. I used several Pinkfresh Studio ink color families for the stamped images.

The background is Subtle Grey Tones pattern paper, die-cut with Frilly Frames Retro Petals stitched rectangle. I stamped the sentiment, and attached the panel to a card base. I glued the leaves and flowers together, and used foam squares to add the pot and bouquet to the card.

I love how this card turned out. The subtle pattern paper brings a balanced background for the bright roses. That's all that I have for today. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hello! It’s Mindy from My Creative Scoop.Today I have a slimline card to share using the Potted Roses stamp set and the Radiant Plumeria Stamp Set. My card base is 7 x 8 ½ and scored at 3 ½.

These stamp sets are made to layer inks. I used my Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks. For my Plumeria Stamps I used the Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold and Worn Lipstick. I used the Dried Marigold and Vintage Photo for the Pot. The leaves I used Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles. For the stem, I just cut a piece of cardstock very thin and colored it in with my Copics, E74 and then made some lines using E77 and then went back over it with my E74—to soften the lines a bit.

Herringbone Frame Die Focused Cards with Lynn and Ashley

Hi there! It’s Lynn here and today I’m sharing a thinking of you card I created featuring the new Frilly Frame Herringbone die.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Frilly Frame Dies Potted Rose Friendship Card by Lynn Put

To create my card, I started out by die cutting a piece of white card stock using the Frilly Frame Herringbone die. I die cut using both the inner herringbone piece and the outer frame piece. And that’s something I love about the design of the frame dies from Sunny Studio Stamps because so many of them can be interchanged so that you can use a herringbone design for the inside but maybe mix it with a scallop or different design for along the outer edge.

Once my Frilly Frame Herringbone was die cut, I used the new Potted Rose stamp set and stamped several of the roses and leaf images stamping them in melon berry, canyon clay, terra-cotta tile and pure poppy ink for the roses and limeade ice and simply chartreuse for the leaves. Once my images where stamped I used the Potted Rose dies to die cut them out.

In the center of my white card base I blended on some Scattered Straw and Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink then glued on my outer white frame. Next I adhered a rose and leaf image in two of the corners and then glued on my white herringbone piece. After that I stamped my sentiment onto a white die cut circle and added the remainder of my rose and leaf images popping up the one rose with foam tape.

Hi friends! It's Ashley with a rainbow card featuring the Frilly Frames Herringbone die! One of my favorite things about the Frilly Frames dies is that they can be mixed and matched to make all kinds of different looks!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Frilly Frame Die Fabulous Flamingos Tropical Scenes Silly Sloths Friendship Card by Ashley Ebben

For this card, I combined the Frilly Frames Herringbone background piece with the frame from Frilly Frames Retro Petals on white cardstock. I backed the die cut with the rainbow ombre paper from Spring Fling and added the background to a white card base.

I stamped the vines and island from Tropical Scenes, the flamingos from Fabulous Flamingos, and the sloths from Silly Sloths in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics. I cut everything out with the matching dies and adhered them to my card, popping the flamingos and sloths up with foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment from Silly Sloths in VersaMark ink on black cardstock and embossed with white. I added the sentiment to my card with another strip of foam tape and finished with a few bright rainbow gems for sparkle.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Wanda Guess

Hi everyone! Wanda Guess here! I'm always happy and excited to be the guest designer on the Sunny Studio Blog! I'm so delighted to work with the beautiful and fun stamps and dies from Sunny Studio! I'm in love with everything SUMMER in the Sunny Studio storefront right now.

It was hard to decide what to feature today, so I used, oh, about 10 stamp sets! LOL. I was dreaming of the beach and palm trees, and flowers. I had so much fun creating two cards to share with you. Grab a pina colada and take a look! Please visit me on my blog sometime! You can find me at A Blog Called Wanda! Or find me on Instagram. Let's get started. Aloha!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Coastal Cuties Stitched Semi-Circle Dies Sending Sunshine Tropical Scenes Summer Themed Card by Wanda Guess

First up is this coastal cutie, swimming by on her floatie! On the shore, some happy little crustaceans and swaying palm trees. This finished card is a 5x5 inch square made from white cardstock. I used the Stitched Semi-Circle dies to create a frame for the waves and sand. I built my card around the semi circle. I also used a layer of hot pink striped paper from the Striped Silly Paper Pack. The sand was stamped and die cut onto Kraft cardstock. The waves were die cut from aqua cardstock. All the images were stamped and die cut with the matching dies and then colored with Copic Markers.

I added bits of Diamond Stickles to the images for some sparkle. To finish off the card, I created a sweet bouquet of a pineapple and Monstera Leaves. The sentiment was heat embossed with white onto black cardstock. Everything was assembled using foam dots for dimension. I also really like to use a white gel pen to add accents over my Copic coloring. I love that little parrot sitting in the tree watching everything! These stamps make me smile.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Radiant Plumeria Hawaiian Hibiscus Frilly Frame Dies Summer Themed Cards by Wanda Guess

Next up is an elegant floral card that reminds me of my vacation to Hawaii several years ago. I used the Radiant Plumeria stamp set and the Hawaiian Hibiscus stamp set to make this card. Again, it's a 5x5 inch square card made from white cardstock (one of my favorite sizes for cards). I die cut the gorgeous Frilly Frames Retro Petals dies over pretty green paper from the Gingham Pastels Paper Pack. The sentiment was heat embossed in gold onto a strip of vellum.

These florals are 3-4 step stamping and they are PERFECTION! I used a MISTI to get everything lined up just perfectly. (Be sure to refer to the stamping guides on the Sunny Studio website). I used shades of the islands....greens, pinks and yellows. I layered everything and attached the images with foam squares. Aloha indeed!

Big thanks to Mendi for having me as a guest! I'm very blessed that she always invites me back! Wishing you a happy Summer!
