Penguin Pair Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today and I am thrilled to share a birthday card featuring the new and absolutely adorable Penguin Pair set from the Spring 2026 Release! If you are at all familiar with the cards that I make, then you would have probably noticed that I LOVE penguins! And this Penguin Pair set has stolen my heart! It’s a small set (so it’s available at a great price point) with so many possibilities. And I love that it pairs perfectly with the previously released Roly Poly Penguins. So let’s get started.

I stamped the penguins, clothes and bow images from the Penguin Pair Stamp, the balloons and present images from the Party Pets Stamp and the envelope from the Snail Mail Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the coordinating Penguin Pair Dies, Party Pets Dies and Snail Mail Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with a white gel pen.

For the sentiment, I stamped the “Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Party Pets Stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used Party Pets Dies to die cut it out.

For the background, I used the Frilly Frames Polka-Dot Dies to die cut a panel out of a white cardstock. I masked off the bottom portion and edges and lightly ink blended Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink. I added some dots with a Copic marker (RV21). A piece of craft foam was adhered to the back of the panel before it was adhered to a piece of pink cardstock.

I adhered the colored images and sentiment to the panel with a combo of liquid glue and foam tape for dimension and interest. The card front was adhered to an A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5").
