Hey Sunny Studio fans, Nancy here today with an under-the-sea birthday card using the beautiful
Magical Mermaids stamp and coordinating dies. I love that this set has so many fun
sentiments and icons. A trio of floating beauties and sealife images that are
perfect for all of your cards.
I started
the card by using Oxide Distress Ink in Broken China, Cracked Pistachio and
Wilted Violet on watercolor paper to create the wash of color shown peeking
through the circle. I love a good peek-a-boo card. Next, the mermaids were
color with Copic markers and placed in the center with foam tape.
A simple sentiment
stamped in black at the top by gently bending the sentiment to fit around the
circle. A sprinkle of dew drops completes the card.
