Today I'm showcasing two new sets. Up first is a 4x6 stamp set called Easter Wishes. These stamps coordinate well with the images from last year's A Good Egg set, but also work well all on their own. It comes with a cross, 2 bunnies, 3 chicks, a sheep, 2 flower images and a handful of sentiments. Some have been curved to fit on the cross and there is also a nice large sentiment that is perfect to use inside your cards.
Can you tell I have a thing for tulips? This set comes with a cute little trio of tulips that will work well for so many scene building type cards. I love to fussy cut so I cut them around the outside edge and then used a Copic marker to the color the inside portions to match my sponged background for a seamless look. Don't worry... If you prefer dies we have those too. ;)
For my second card I stacked all the critters to create a sweet little scene. I then stamped some tone-on-tone clouds and grass using our Sunny Sentiments stamps.
For my next card I wanted the cross to take center stage, keeping the rest of the card super simple. I paired it with a fun new die set that I will be sharing more of tomorrow. ;)
Up next I turned to our Sunny Semi Circle dies to create an arched window for my scene with the baby chicks and lilies.
For my last Easter card I used the little chicks with the larger chick, Easter basket & Sentiment from A Good Egg.
For my next card I have a new little 2x3 stamp set called That Sucks. My 10-year old daughter dreamed up the idea for a vacuum themed set when listening to Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You" which I thought would be super cute for Valentine's Day. It comes with a number of faces to add personality to the vacuum as well as another set of sentiments to expand it's versatility for other occasions.
For this card I created my chevron background using our Sunny Borders stamps and my MISTI to help me space them every 1/2".
For my second card with the set I cut my 4.25" card base using the largest heart from our Stitched Heart dies. The coordinating That Sucks dies come with a bonus mini heart and "suck" word die in the extra space inside the vacuum that would have otherwise been empty wasted space.
Here's a full look at the new Easter Wishes and That Sucks stamps and coordinating dies available for purchase early tomorrow morning in our online store.
I hope you've enjoyed today's sneak peek. Would you like to win a $25 gift code to our online store to spend on some of the new sets? Use the rafflecopter below to enter to win. ReplyDeleteSuch a cool variety of stamps in this release! I love the vacuum set and the easter set reminds me of the big easter egg hunt at Grandma's when we were kids. The adults would donate money and pocket change, then they wou;d mark different $ amounts on the eggs and after the egg hunt, we cashed in our eggs for the values marked. There was always on big prize $1 to us was a big prize! LOL! We didnt care if we got a big amount though - even some pocket change was a big deal! Ahhh such memories!

It has been a long tradition to spend Easter with my Aunt. We used to go to the park and have a giant egg hunt but now she owns a large piece of land and we do the egg hunt there. It is a wonderful day of good food and family.

ReplyDeleteLOVE these cute sets, and That Sucks is hilarious! I really like the faces you can add to the vacuum cleaner. As for Easter, we usually have our grown children and their families over, and always have an Easter egg hunt. We even did this when there were no youngsters around because everyone enjoyed it so much.
ReplyDeleteOur Easter tradition is church in the morning and a big lunch feast!

Love the Easter stamp set!
ReplyDeleteWe always dye eggs and have an egg hunt for Easter. Because my kids are small, we only hide plastic eggs, in case they don't find them all. I fill the eggs with candy and small goodies like stickers...so they love that. The dyed eggs are usually eaten for breakfast or turned into egg salad sandwiches for me and their dad. These sets are so fun and I really love your Daughter's great idea for the That Sucks stamp set, lol!
ReplyDeleteI so love the That Sucks stamp set and dies. We don't have much family around so we don't do too much on Easter but I usually get some treats for the little ones in our neighbourhood.
ReplyDeleteOh, goodness, the vacuum is just too dang cute! Love it! We fill plastic eggs for Easter since no one in our house likes the real ones. LOL!
ReplyDeleteWe get together as a family and have brunch after church. Love the vacuums!!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute sets! We celebrate Easter with a challenging egg hunt (We use plastic eggs filled with coins, the teenagers don't want to give up this tradition) and then we have family time. This release looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteChris L.
Oh my gosh this release is the best ever!
ReplyDeleteLove the "sucks"!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAwww.. so sweet!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about spring is that all the birds come back to splash in my bird bath, and all the flowers are in bloom!
ReplyDeleteWhoops, looks like I answered the wrong question this time! My favorite Easter tradition is making an easter basket for each of my grandchildren and having the family here for Easter dinner.
ReplyDeleteWe don't really have any Easter Traditions now but when my sons were young and it was too wet for an egg hunt I used hide clues round the house that would finally tell them where their eggs were which took up a good hour or two, time enough for a coffee :D. Although I'm not religious I love the critters on the new Easter stamps they're so cute and the vacuum cleaners just make me smile, great idea from your daughter. x
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Such gorgeous cards my friend!!!! Love them!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jo

ReplyDeleteLove love love Easter wishes!
ReplyDeleteThe vacuum set is so cute and unique it's fantastic!
ReplyDeleteIn India, we used to have Church service at 5:00 AM in the morning. Then we (including my aunts, uncles and cousins) come home and have cake. And we mostly have Biriyani for lunch. In the US, I usually make Biriyani for lunch. Love that Easter set!! Very beautiful!
