Furever Friends: Smitten Kitten Tabby Cat Card

Today I have a Furever Friends card to share using the curled up kitty image which I colored with my Copic markers to look like a big orange tabby cat.

 For my background I was looking for a complimentary color that would make my kitty pop so I chose to blend peacock feathers and mermaid lagoon distress inks.  I then cut my panel down to 3.75" x 5" and punched a 2" circle out of the right side to make room for my sentiment.

Before I adhered my kitty, I colored in a little shadow below him by drawing a freehand oval with my Neutral Grey Copic marker.  To finish my card I topped the little stamped hearts with glossy accents to make them shine.

    I don't have cats so wasn't even thinking about getting this set. Now I see how you used it and it opens the door to endless possibilities ....and now I've got to have it....lol.

    Such an adorable card! Love your coloring of the cat!!! He looks so realistic! Love the colors of the background and the cute sentiment. The hearts really make this card, they go hand in hand with the sentiment. Love it!
