Coastal Cuties Cards with Eloise and Leanne

Hello friends, Eloise here and today we are using the Coastal Cuties Stamp Set. I paired it with a few other sets to create a beach scene and used the new Summer Splash Patterned Paper Pack for an easy background.

I started off with stamping out my images onto some white cardstock. I used Coastal Cuties, Sending Sunshine, Seasonal Trees and Island Getaway. I coloured them in with Copic Markers and then cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I then cut down a piece of the patterned paper from Summer Splash to the size of my card base. I adhered my images on top using foam tape. For my sentiment, I curved the ‘Hi There!’ on my block and stamped it in black around the island.

Hi friends, Leanne here! I have a very summery card to share today that features one of the adorable beach goers from Coastal Cuties. I wanted to create a little beach vignette using her. Since this little scene is more on the simple side, I decided to go with a bold color blocked background. I just love the new Summer Splash pattern papers. There’s some great tone on tone patterns that are perfect for color blocking.

I picked out five patterns and cut 1 inch strips. I adhered the pattern strips in rainbow order to an A2 card front leaving a tiny gap in between each strip. To create the beach vignette, I die cut a circle that’s 3.25” in diameter. I picked out some blue ink that coordinated with the blue pattern paper and blended it onto the circle to color the sky area. I used kraft card stock for the sand.  

I Copic colored all the images. In addition to the beach girl from Coastal Cuties, I use the sand castle and sand shovel image from Beach Babies. The hermit crab is from the new Best Fishes stamp set. I adhered the images with dimensional foam squares. I stamped the sentiment from Coastal Cuties and adhered the completed circle to the card again using foam squares. As one final finishing touch, I tied some baker’s twine around the left side of the card.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Karin Åkesdotter

Hi Everyone! I'm Karin Åkesdotter from Peppermint Patty’s Papercraft, and I am so excited to be collaborating with Sunny Studio this month. I'm here today to share some cards I've made with Sunny’s wonderful Summer Release.

This first project is a super fun one. I just LOVE Mendi's clever box design Wrap Around Box die set that closes up like two hearts at the top, no strings or adhesive needed to close this box. And with the perfect panel die and cute little tags the possibilities for cute designs with this are endless. 

Here I used the fun cloud paper that come with the Summer Splash patterned paper pack and the adorable sloth is of course from the Silly Sloth set. My box is for a mini gift for my sister for her long flight to the Maldives later this year - it will hold a sleeping mask and earplugs so she'll sleep like a sloth there ;)

My next project is a CAS card, with a fast and easy design that looks like it was more work with lots of elements and texture. My favorite type of designs. Here I used the wonderful Frilly Frames Stripes dies for the panel and the stitched rectangle is from the Wrap Around Box dies and then simply stamped and die cut some of the images from the Silly Sloth set.

My last card for today showcases the super adorable Fabulous Flamingos set which holds lots of fun and sweet extra images to use for your summer/vacation cards. So much fun to color and play around with for different card designs. Here I die cut a window through which you can view the ocean - another wonderful paper from the Summer Splash patterned paper pack.

Slice Of Summer Cards with Rachel and Lexa

Hello! It's Rachel here and I'm sharing a card with you today featuring the new Slice of Summer Stamp Set. I love all of the layering stamps from Sunny Studio Stamps! Even my kids were pretty impressed with how realistic these watermelons looked.

To start, I first stamped my watermelons with various shades of red and green inks. Inks Used: Reds: Altenew Rouge, Altenew Crimson, Versafine Crimson Red; Greens: Altenew Parrot, Altenew Bamboo, Altenew Moss

I then used the coordinating dies to cut out my watermelon pieces and set them aside to work on my card base. I added a piece of both red and green patterned paper from the Classic Gingham Paper Pad and then added a small strip of dark green card stock to separate them.

I used the Fancy Frames Circle Dies to cut a centerpiece for my card from white card stock. Before adhering everything together, I heat embossed my sentiment onto the bottom portion of my card with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. Lastly, I adhered my watermelon with both adhesive tape and 3D Foam Squares for some added dimension.

Hi everyone! Lexa here today to share a summer card using Slice of Summer Stamps and the coordinating dies. It creates the most juicy summer fruits layering stamp, they are honestly good enough to eat. You'll love it since it has offer you many choices of sentiments to match your projects. I have mine paired up with the older stamp set called Berry Bliss to add more fruits and colors.

I started my card with masking the card base using purple tape from TOW to create stripes. Then I blend Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral and Squeezed Lemonade. I'm in love with the result the moment I peeled off the tapes. I stamped the images with various dye inks. Then I use the coordinating dies to cut them all. All the images are adhered both with glue and foam tapes to create some dimensions. To balance the layout, the fruits are arranged in horizontal line while the background is vertical. 

The bright colors absolutely scream summer, don't you think so? "Thank you" sentiment is from Everyday Greeting Stamps. It's stamped with Versafine black ink and I add transparent embossing powder to create shine.

Fabulous Flamingos Cards with Anja and Vanessa

Hello everyone, Anja here and today I'm back with a love-themed card using the Fabulous Flamingos Stamps.

I started off with a lavender card base and cut out one of the new Summer Splash 6x6 Papers with a stitched rectangle die. I also die cut a circle window. For my romantic background, I blended together the Distress Oxide Inks Wilted Violet and Tattered Rose on a piece of Bristol cardstock. I also splattered on some ink with a paint brush.

Next, I stamped the images in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I did some watercoloring with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and cut the images out with the coordinating dies.

I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I adhered the images and popped up the flowers with foam squares. To finish my card, I added two tiny sequin hearts.

Hello! Vanessa here with a happy card using the adorable Fabulous Flamingos set. These flamingos are the cutest I've ever seen! I had so much fun with them.

I started with a panel of watercolor paper and stamped the leaves with green Distress Ink. Then I applied green watercolors and added ink droplets. After I had adhered the dried panel to the card, I die-cut the Fancy Frames Rectangle from green cardstock and adhered it. 

Now I stamped all the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered everything to the card, raising some images with foam tape.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of pink cardstock, heat-embossed it with white embossing powder, trimmed it and adhered it to the card.

Silly Sloths Cards with Mona and Franci

Hi crafty friends! Its Mona here, today I am showing you a cute card with the new Silly Sloth stamp set. 

I started the card making with stamping and coloring. I stamped images with the Silly Sloths and Fabulous Flamingos stamp sets, then I colored them with Copic markers. When it was done I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies.

Next I created the background. I created a bright pink watercolor background then I made a circle die-cut with Fancy Frames Circle dies. I backed the circle window with rainbow patterned paper from the Surprise Party paper pack and styled and adhered the colored images to my card.

Next I heat embossed the sentiment to a black cardstock and my card was ready.

Hi there and happy Wednesday! Franci here with you showcasing the new Silly Sloths set today.

These critters are sooo sweet, and all the sentiments included in this set will make you giggle for sure! I created my card base out of white cardstock and I masked the front to create this colorful background using Distress Inks. I also added some splatters with bright and sparkle watercolors and I let everything dry completely.

I stamped all the images, colored them with Copics (I love using super soft shades, even for these forest critters!) and die cut them with their coordinated dies. I glued the down with a combo of liquid glue and foam adhesive and I added some details with a white gel pen.

I stamped all my sentiment and finally added some sparkling clear sequins. Hope you like my card and thank you so much for stopping by today!
