Hello crafters, it’s Tina and today I am celebrating warmer days to come with this fun card featuring the Summer Jar Mug dies. This set has all the accessories to create your own refreshing drink!
To start, I cut a rectangle background panel with the outer die from Frilly Frames Chevron and embossed it with the Dotted Diamond Portrait die. It’s such an easy way to give tons of texture to an otherwise plain white piece. Next, I made a colorful purple label using a sheet of the Spring Fever papers and the largest Limitless Labels die.
After gluing both pieces to a white
card base, I started cutting all the elements I needed for this card from white
Neenah paper using the Summer Jar Mug dies, leaves from the Summer Greenery and fruit from Fresh Lemon.
Using a grip mat and some blending brushes makes coloring die cuts fun and very easy, the Distress Oxides I selected are Shaded Lilac, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber. I added texture by splattering with a small brush. For the little umbrella, I went with a beautiful yellow flower pattern from Spring Fever papers.
To put the scene together, I used repositionable tape and worked in layers. The combined sentiment was taken from the Beach Bus set and I completed this card with some yellow embellishments (Pastel Jewels Mix).
Thank you for joining me and happy crafting!

Super cute! Love the colors! Reminds me of Lavender and Lemonade or whatever that scent from Yankee Candles is. The way you've done the coloring is genius.
