Scalloped Tags Holiday Projects with Rachel and Candice

Hello everyone! It's Rachel here and I have some Christmas shaker tags to share with you today! I love the size of the Scalloped Tag Circle Dies that were recently released. They're perfect for creating a fun little scene and having room to write if need be. I combined the Scalloped Tag Circle Dies with the cute Merry Mice Stamp Set to make a few double-layer shaker tags that were inspired by some ornaments that Jennifer McGuire made a few years back. To created my tags, I first cut two base layers and stamped my sentiment onto the back of each of them. I then used the large Scalloped Circle Tag Die with a basic Circle Die to create a frame of the tag. I quickly die cut about 11 of these frames for each tag and glued 5 of them together for my first layer and 5 for my second layer, leaving one frame left for the final piece to show in the front. I like to create my shaker tags this way because this allows for a very neat and uniform frame that lines up perfectly with each layer below. For the inside of the tag, I used some Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Ink for my background and splattered it with diluted Opaque White Paint to resemble snow. I also die cut some snow drifts and trees from white card stock using the Woodland Borders Die Set.

Because I used two layers of acetate with stacked frames in between, I was able to add more glittery embellishments than usual because it wouldn't completely cover my images. I love how it looks like a snowy blizzard behind each mouse.

I love how the sentiment stands out on its own on the back of the tag. There is still plenty of room to write a short message. These would also make the perfect ornaments to decorate a Christmas tree if so desired. Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy card making!

Hi my Crafty friends, Candice back with you this Friday! If you have noticed a tropical theme from me the past couple of weeks, you can blame it on my family that lives in Florida while I am stuck in the snow! I can only dream (and create) about the warmth! I am showcasing these amazing new Scalloped Tag dies, which come with two sizes, and the larger size is perfect to turn into a shaker!

To create the tropical tags, I used these Sunny Studio products:

• Scalloped Tag Square dies
• Fabulous Flamingos stamps & coordinating dies
• Santa Claus Lane stamps & coordinating dies
• Scenic Route stamps & coordinating dies
• Holiday Cheer 6x6 paper pack

I began my tags by first die cutting the scalloped tags from striped pattern paper and using a square die, cut out the center. I then die cut two more scalloped tags from white cardstock, inked the bottom with twisted citron and the tops with spun sugar and stamped the sentiments from Santa Claus Lane & Fabulous Flamingos stamp sets.

To put the shaker tags together, I added acetate behind the pattern tags and filled with sequins. Next, I stamped the flamingos, leaves, fruit, presents, ornaments and candy canes, colored with Copic markers and cut out using the coordinating dies listed above.

To finish the tags, I die cut and layered the christmas lights, colored with Copic markers and added some green Stickles for sparkle! I also added a few accents to the images with a white pen.

Scalloped Tags Holiday Projects with Anja and Vanessa

Hi everyone, Anja here and today I'm sharing this duo of cute Christmas tags that I created with the Scalloped Tag Square Dies. They come in two sizes and I paired them up with the Gleeful Reindeer Stamps.

For the bigger tag, I cut out a square of patterned paper from the Very Merry 6x6 Paper pack to help building a little winter scene. I stamped the reindeers and gifts in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. 

The smaller tag is a actually a shaker. Therefore, I die cut the scalloped tag twice from petrol cardstock and created a window by using a square die for one of the die-cuts. I backed the window with a piece of acetate and adhered strips of foam tape to the edges. Before adhering the back, I filled the shaker with white and silver sequins as well as aqua flakes.

I stamped the sentiments (the 'Merry Christmas' is included in the Merry Mice set) in VersaMark Ink onto red cardstock banners and white heat embossed them. I used gingham ribbon and natural jute string to finish off my tags.

Hello to you! Vanessa here today using the Scalloped Tag Circle Dies on a new Christmas card.

First, I covered the front of my card base with red checked patterned paper from the Classic Gingham 6x6 Paper. Now I trimmed a panel of Kraft cardstock slightly smaller than the card and masked off a hill. I inked the panel with white pigment ink, removed the mask and stamped the snow using the Frosty Flurries Stamps.

Then I die-cut the circle tag from the panel and adhered it to the card, raising the tag with foam tape and tying on baker's twine.

I stamped the cute fox from Foxy Christmas Stamps onto white cardstock, colored it with Copics, die-cut it with the matching die and adhered it to the card with foam tape.

Finally, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment from Jolly Gingerbread Stamps onto a strip of green cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it.

This might be my last Christmas card for this year, and it's a pity this time is over so soon - the adorable winter release has been so fun to play with :)

Scalloped Tags Holiday Projects with Ana and Franci

Hello friends! It’s Ana here today with a project featuring Scalloped Tags Circle dies and Christmas Icons stamps and dies. 

I decided to use small Scalloped Tags Circle dies and Christmas Icons for my tags, as I don’t always have the time to make all the gift tags for the presents, and I knew I could mass produce these easily. Christmas Icons are just the perfect size to add on every tag, and were so fun and easy to make! The only image not from Christmas Icons set is the little mouse with earmuffs – he is from Merry Mice set.

I started with die cutting two pieces of cardstock for each tag (front and back) and decorating the front piece for each tag. Since our wrapping paper is in blue tones, I created all the tags to match the color scheme.

I did some ink blending on several of them, added splatter with diluted blue ink on some and stamped light blue snowflakes on the rest for the backgrounds. Next, I stamped each back piece with from/to words (also from Christmas Icons) and adhered all fronts and backs of the tags together with liquid glue.

I stamped, colored and die cut the Christmas Icons images and adhered each little icon to each tag with foam tape. I added blue ribbon or twine to the tags, stamped the sentiments (from Alpaca Holiday stamps) and added glitter Stickles to the hats and snowflakes to embellish each one.

Hi everyone! Franci here with you today, showcasing the Scalloped Tags Square dies set!

I love these dies so much I can't wait to make Valentine's Days tags, Easter tags .. and so much more with them, but I have another Xmas/ Winter one for today to show you. First of all I die cut the main tag multiple times out of white cardstock to cover all the different layers you see and I also cut one out of this bright light blue patterned paper from the Very Merry paper pad. 

I die cut 3 of the white tags with the Woodlands Borders and I stamped 3 more with the Scenic Route stamp set. I colored these last ones with my Copics and die cut them out with their coordinated dies. I glued all of them on to my patterned paper tag with liquid glue and I started working on my images.

I stamped, colored and die cut some of my fave snowmen from the Feeling Frosty set and glued them with foam adhesive. Finally I die cut one more tag out of white cardstock and glued it on the back ( there's a lot of room there for your personal message this way!). I stamped my sentiments on the front and added lots of details with a white gel pen + some embellishments as White Nuvo Drops + a white ribbon at the top.
