Hi there! Tina M here
sharing a friendship card using the new Inside Greetings Friends stamps paired with
the Penguin Pair Stamps and the Wolly Friends Stamp sets!
I started off by
stamping two cute penguins, two bows and six hearts from the Penguin Pair stamp set, two of the fence and six
of the flowers from the Wolly Friends Stamps set on alcohol ink friendly
card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my
Copic Markers, see list below.
Copic colors used:
Penguins: N3/5/6/8, C0/1, R00/30/32, YR21/24/27
Bows: R22/24/27 and RV52/55, V000
Hearts: R22/24/27
Fence: RV52/55, V000
Flowers: R22/24
When finished the
coloring I ran the images through my die cutting machine using the
coordinating Penguin
Pair dies and the Wolly Friends dies. Next, I ink blended a
scrap piece of card stock for the grass and used the grass die from the Slimline Nature Borders Dies set, creating two
thin strips of grass to the length of 3,75 inches.
For my card I used
an A2 size card base, I then trimmed a piece of the darker pink patterned
paper from the Classic Sunburst paper pack to 5,5 x 4,25 inches.
For this card I chose the grid pattern up. Next, I adhered the pink panel to
the card base using double sided tape. Next, I trimmed a
piece of white card stock 5 x 3,75 inches. Using a blending brush, I colored
the panel with a light turquoise ink to create my sky.
Now to assemble the
scenes! As I wanted to make two separate scenes on my card, I glued one of the
fences at 2,5 inches, the center of the sky-colored panel, (portrait
orientation), next I glued the strip of grass to the bottom of the fence. I
then glued the other fence and the other strip of grass to the bottom of the
panel.
Before adding any
more die cut elements I stamped the sentiments from the Inside Greetings Friends stamps. Next, I added foam
dots to back of the penguins for dimension and adhered them to the card! I then
glued the bows to their heads, the flowers on the grass and finished off with
the hearts!
As I love adding
black frames to most of my cards, I trimmed a piece of black card stock to
5,1/8 x 3,7/8 inches for a thin frame to adhere behind the scenes panel! Lastly, I adhered the
scene panel with the black frame to the card base using double sided tape!
Thank you for
stopping by! Wishing you all a happy and colorful day!
