Speech Bubbles Extras Die Focused Cards with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. For today’s project, I created Valentine shaker ATCs using the new Speech Bubbles Extras dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Speech Bubbles Extras Die Focused Cards by Janneke Peters (featuring Passionate Penguins, Cascading Hearts)

I started by cutting the  ATC card bases and ink blending the backgrounds with soft pink and green inks. To give the cards an extra Valentine vibe, I stamped little hearts from the Cascading Hearts stamp onto the backgrounds.

Next, I stamped and die-cut the adorable images from the Passionate Penguins stamp set along with the mailbox from Snail Mail.

I colored all the images with my Ohuhu markers and added a few white highlights using a white gel pen. Before assembling the shaker, I placed the images on the ATCs to decide where to die-cut the Speech Bubbles.

Inside the speech bubbles, I stamped the XOXO sentiment from the Vintage Valentine stamp set.

Finally, I added a piece of acetate and double-sided foam to the back of the ATC, filled the shaker with tiny hearts, and sealed everything up. And just like that, the Valentine shaker ATCs were finished!

Cards done, ready to send joy! Thanks for joining me, and see you next week.

Icing Rectangle Frame Die Focused Card with Yan

Hello everyone! It’s Yan here! I’m so excited to share my new card today, combining the stitched label frame die from Sunny Studio’s Icing Rectangle Frame Dies with the adorable Quill Cuties Stamp Set! Both are part of the Sunny Studio Spring New Release, and they work together so perfectly — I had such a fun time creating this cheerful design! Let’s get started!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Icing Rectangle Frame Die & Quill Cuties Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Dotted Diamond Dies, Basic Mini Shape Dies)

First, I stamped the adorable hedgehogs from the Quill Cuties Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock. Then, I colored them with Copic markers, adding warm tones and playful shading to bring out their cheerful personalities! Once the coloring was done, I used the Quill Cuties Dies to cut them out perfectly — they’re all ready to join the scene!

COPIC COLOUR:
Hedgehogs: E18, E35, E31, E30, R30
Glasses: Y11, Y15
Mug, Hat & Gift Box: BG23, BG15, B000, R46, R30

Next, I added a soft background to my creamy cardstock using the Dotted Diamond Landscape Die to create a delicate pierced pattern. Then, I used the Stitched Label Frames Dies from the Icing Rectangle Frame Die set to die-cut four frames — two from white cardstock and two from vellum paper. I blended Distress Oxide inks in Salvaged Patina over the white cardstock frames to add a gentle pop of color, and heat embossed heartfelt sentiments from the Inside Greetings Friends Stamp onto the vellum frames.

Finally, I used the Basic Mini Shape Dies 2 & 5 to die-cut a few hearts and snowflakes to add extra little details. Then, I layered all the elements together using foam tape and glue, arranging the hedgehogs and frames to create a cheerful, dimensional scene full of springtime fun — just as shown in the photo!

Thank you so much for stopping by — I’m so happy to share a little piece of my crafting joy with you today!

Spring Garland Card with Tina H

Hello crafters, Tina here and I swear that on certain days I can feel Spring in the air! That is why I am so excited to create a card with the gorgeous Spring Garland stamp and die set. Not only are the images stunning, this stamp gives you so much options with the separate clusters and butterflies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Spring Garland Birthday Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Stitched Oval Dies, Scalloped Oval Mat Dies, Buffalo Plaid Diagonal Dies)

Since the flowers are slightly curved, I thought they would work very well with an oval design. I started by cutting a pink piece of cardstock from my stash with the largest of the Stitched Ovals. Next, I dry embossed this piece with the beautiful Buffalo Plaid Diagonal die and layered the panel on top of a white scalloped border (Scalloped Oval Mat 1).

My simple white card base got some extra interest by adding a striped design with a stencil and Worn Lipstick Distress OxideI set this base aside to dry before mounting the oval pieces. Then I pulled out my Copics and selected happy Spring colors for the flower arrangements.

I played around with both pieces and loved the idea of them following the oval shape while slightly overlapping. I used foam tape for the largest cluster to get that extra dimension.

This card could be perfect for Easter or Spring, but since I always need a lot of birthday cards, I wanted to show you that it is perfect for that occasion too! My sentiment (Tropical Birds) was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink on a small pink banner and placed in the top right corner. A few Pink Spinel Jewels are the perfect embellishment for this design.

I always enjoy creating with flowers and I hope you will love this set as much as I do! Thank you for joining me and happy crafting!

Zig Zag Circle Die Focused Card with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a card that I made using the Zig Zag Circle Dies

Sunny Studio Stamps: Zig Zag Die Focused Valentine's Day Card by Marieke Slaats (featuring Passionate Penguins, My Heart)

I cut a top fold white base card. Cut a white rectangle 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch and scored a line every 1/2 inch. Adhered the rectangle to the base card and cut a piece of pattern paper 2 x 5 1/2 inch and adhered it to the panel also.

Die cut the Zig Zag Circle Dies out of vellum and heat set the sentiment out of the My Heart Stamp on to it. Die cut a white circle and adhered them together. Adhered the circles on the base using foam tape.

Gebruikte Copic Kleuren:
Black - N8, N6, N4, N3, N2
Penguin White - E53, E51, E5
Red - R59, R29, R24

Stamped the penguins out of Passionate Penguins Stamps, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them by hand. Added all the images on to the card and finished the card off by using some Glossy Accents.

Inside Greetings Friends Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here sharing a friendship card using the new Inside Greetings Friends stamps paired with the Penguin Pair Stamps and the Wolly Friends Stamp sets!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Inside Greetings Friends & Penguin Pair Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Wooly Friends, Slimline Nature Border Dies)

I started off by stamping two cute penguins, two bows and six hearts from the Penguin Pair stamp set, two of the fence and six of the flowers from the Wolly Friends Stamps set on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below.

Copic colors used:
Penguins: N3/5/6/8, C0/1, R00/30/32, YR21/24/27
Bows: R22/24/27 and RV52/55, V000
Hearts: R22/24/27
Fence: RV52/55, V000
Flowers: R22/24

When finished the coloring I ran the images through my die cutting machine using the coordinating Penguin Pair dies and the Wolly Friends diesNext, I ink blended a scrap piece of card stock for the grass and used the grass die from the Slimline Nature Borders Dies set, creating two thin strips of grass to the length of 3,75 inches.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Inside Greetings Friends & Penguin Pair Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Wooly Friends, Slimline Nature Border Dies)

For my card I used an A2 size card base, I then trimmed a piece of the darker pink patterned paper from the Classic Sunburst paper pack to 5,5 x 4,25 inches. For this card I chose the grid pattern up. Next, I adhered the pink panel to the card base using double sided tape. Next, I trimmed a piece of white card stock 5 x 3,75 inches. Using a blending brush, I colored the panel with a light turquoise ink to create my sky.

Now to assemble the scenes! As I wanted to make two separate scenes on my card, I glued one of the fences at 2,5 inches, the center of the sky-colored panel, (portrait orientation), next I glued the strip of grass to the bottom of the fence. I then glued the other fence and the other strip of grass to the bottom of the panel.

Before adding any more die cut elements I stamped the sentiments from the Inside Greetings Friends stampsNext, I added foam dots to back of the penguins for dimension and adhered them to the card! I then glued the bows to their heads, the flowers on the grass and finished off with the hearts!

As I love adding black frames to most of my cards, I trimmed a piece of black card stock to
5,1/8 x 3,7/8 inches for a thin frame to adhere behind the scenes panel!
Lastly, I adhered the scene panel with the black frame to the card base using double sided tape!

Thank you for stopping by! Wishing you all a happy and colorful day!
