Spring Garland Card with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. I hope to inspire you with a card that I made using the Spring Garland.

Cut a A2 size white top fold card base, Inkblended some Salvaged Patina onto the card. Splattered some water and Salvaged Patina. Using two different blue inks I stamped the water can using the Watering Can stamp, die cut it using the matching Watering Can dies.

Stamped all the images out of the Spring Garland stamp, some of the images I stamped using the mirror technique. Die cut the images stamped the normal way using the matching Spring Garland dies and cut the mirrored images using my scissors.

Used Copic Colors:
Green - YG67, YG63, YG03, YG01
Pink - R85, R83, R81
Soft Pink Flowers - C3, C1, R00, R000, 0 / Y02, Y00 / YR21

Using a black ink, I stamped the sentiments out of Heartfelt Wishes and Fabulous Flamingos directly on the watering can.

Loopy Rectangles Frame Die Focused Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here sharing a card featuring the new Loopy Rectangle Frame Dies!

For my card I used an A2 size card base, I started off by trimming a piece of the orange Classic Sunburst paper to 5,5 x 4,25 inches and adhered it to my card base.

Next, I stamped two hedgehogs from the Quill Cuties Stamp set, the phone from the Vintage Valentine Stamp set twice and four hearts from the same set on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below. I then die cut the images out using the coordinating Quill Cuties dies and Vintage Valentine dies.

Copic colors used:
Hedgehogs: W0/1/3/5/7, R00/30/32
Phones: V000, RV52/55
Hearts: RV52/55

Next, I die cut one of the Speech Bubbles from the Speech Bubbles Extras Dies twice. I ink blended one of them with pink ink and stamped my sentiment using words from the Vintage Valentine Stamp set, I then glued them together to make it sturdier! Next, I glued the hearts to the speech bubble.

Now on to the Loopy Rectangle Frame! I took a piece of dark pink cardstock from my stash and the largest of the Loopy Rectangle Frame Dies and ran it through my die cutting machine. Using liquid glue, I adhered it to the card base. Lastly, I added foam dots to back of the phones, hedgehogs and the speech bubble for dimension and adhered them to the card!

Inside Greetings Friends Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today and I have a sweet friendship card to share with you featuring these adorable Bunnyville bunnies and a sentiment from the new Inside Greetings Friends set. So let’s get started.

I stamped the images from the Bunnyville Stamp and one of the bunnies from the Tulip Path Background Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the coordinating Bunnyville Dies and the Tulip Path Background Dies to diecut them out. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

Gray Bunnies: C00/0/1, R000/00/20
Carrots: Y35/17/38 YR04/07, YG01/03/25/17, E53/33/35, B0000
Flowers: RV10/21/13/14, Y11/13/15/19, YG01/03/25
Grass: YG01/03/25
Butterflies: V000/01/04

For the background, I used the Frilly Frames Hexagon Dies to diecut a panel out of a white cardstock. I masked off the scalloped edges. I used the Slimline Nature Borders Dies to diecut a piece of clear acetate to make my own cloud stencil. I used my homemade cloud stencil, Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks to ink blend a subtle background onto the white panel. I added some dots in the grass with a Copic marker (YG03). 

For the sentiment, I stamped the sentiment from the Inside Greetings Friends Stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink directly onto the panel. A piece of craft foam was adhered to the back of the panel before it was adhered to a piece of lavender cardstock.

I adhered the colored images to the front of the card with a combination of liquid glue. The card front was adhered to an A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5").
