Penguin Pair Card with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here and today I am excited to share this wintery card featuring the Penguin Pair stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Penguin Pair Winter Themed Love Card by Janneke Peters (featuring Scenic Route)

I started by stamping and die-cutting the Scenic Route background stamp. Next, I softly blended blue ink onto the cardstock to create a dreamy winter sky effect. Once that was done, I stamped the trees from the Too Cute to Spook stamp set over the background to add a winter forest feel.

Then it was time for the real stars of the card: the adorable Penguin Pair stamps! I colored the penguins and the Scenic Route background with my Ohuhu markers. To finish everything I added highlights to the images using a white gel pen and  I glued everything onto the card.

Card done, ready to send joy! Thanks for joining me, and see you next week.

Vintage Valentine Card with Yan

Hello crafty friends!! This is Yan on the Sunny Studio blog today.  Are you ready for something sweet? I’m beyond excited to share my Vintage Valentine Stamp Set card today - I added a little thoughtful touch that might just give you a new way to share your heartfelt words.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Vintage Valentine Love Themed Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Scalloped Oval Mat Dies)

First, I stamped these charming vintage - inspired images with VersaFine Clair Ink-Pinecone on watercolor paper. Then I brought them to life with watercolors, keeping that soft, nostalgic vibe that matches the Vintage Valentine theme perfectly. Once everything was completely dry, I used the Vintage Valentine Dies to cut them out - crisp, clean and ready for the fun part!

I started by working on the background! I chose a lovely pattern from Polka-Dot Parade Paper Pad, and to keep that same nostalgic touch, I die-cut a stitched scalloped oval shape from white cardstock using Scalloped Oval Mat 3 Dies. The soft tones and classic shape add such a cozy, vintage feel to the design.

Next, I hand-cut a small piece of white cardstock measuring about 3.4cmX10cm and stamped a sweet message on it - a little details that makes your card even more meaningful and heartfelt.

Then comes the fun little twist! I carefully hand-cut a small 3.6cm opening on both the white oval panel and the colored typewriter image. This created the perfect spot to slide in the tiny message strip I stamped earlier - just like a real note coming out of the typewriter!

Finally, I adhered everything onto the card base using foam tape for a bit dimension. Now your sweet words can be tucked inside, giving someone you love a little surprise when they take a closer look - just like in the photos below.

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing this little crafty moment with me! I hope you enjoyed seeing how this card came together, and maybe even got a few ideas to add your own special touches.

Baked With Love Card with Tina H

Hi there crafty friends, Tina here and I confess, I love cookies! That is why I was excited to make a card with the sweet Baked With Love stamp and die set. Now this set offers plenty of options for the cutest designs. Since I also adore critters, I definitely wanted to bring in an image from the Foxy Friends set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Baked With Love Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Frilly Frame Dies, Stitched Arch Dies, Sydney Alphabet Dies, Foxy Friends)

After creating a white rectangle card base, I cut a panel from a pink paper (Polka-Dot Parade) with the outer die of the Frilly Frames Stripes die. I have used these outer dies many times and I highly recommend having these staples in your stash. Next, I glued the panel to the base with liquid glue. For my scene, I cut a white Stitched Arch and dry embossed the piece with the Quilted Hearts folder. I also glued a strip of pink card stock near the bottom so I could add my scene later on.

I stamped all the cookies from the Baked With Love stamp and the rolling pin. As mentioned before, I also selected a cute fox (Foxy Friends set). I enjoyed coloring all these images in fun colors with my Copics and added some white sprinkles with my gel pen.

The hardest part of this project was figuring out the design, I had one fox and a whole lot of cookies! First, I decided that the fox would be sitting on the rolling pin. Next, I played around with stacking the cookies until I was happy with the lay-out.

This card needed a fun sentiment so I spelled out the word ‘Baked’ with the letters of the Sydney Alphabet. I love how well they match with the arched shape. To create that chipboard effect, I cut each letter three times and stacked them with liquid glue.

For the sub sentiment I found the perfect one in the Baking Spirits Bright set. Yes, that is a Christmas set, but I encourage you to keep using these stamps all year round where possible! I stamped the sentence on a white banner with Versafine Onyx Black ink and added foam tape to mount it to the card. A few Aquamarine Jewels were placed in the corners for some extra glam.

I can’t wait to see all the yummy projects you will make with this sweet set!! Thank you for joining me and happy crafting!

Quill Cuties Card with Marieke

Hello all, Marieke here. I'm back again with my weekly post for Sunny Studio Stamps. Today I hope to inspire you with a card that I made using the Quill Cuties.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Quill Cuties Love Themed Shaker Card by Marieke Slaats (featuring Looking Sharp, Window Trio Heart Dies)

First off I created the background. I masked off the bottom and inked up the top using Tattered Rose, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks. Splattered some water and added the hearts using the same colors and a mask.

Die cut the Window Trio Heart Landscape out of it. Inked the bottom using a brown ink and adhered a piece of acetate on the back of the panel. Filled the shaker using the Red & Pink Heart Confetti (fished the red ones out) and Iridescent Clear Jewels.

Used Copic Colors:
Green - YG67, YG63, YG03, YG01
Brown - E43, E42, E41
White - C5, C3, C1, C00, 0
Quill - E55, E53, E51, E50 / R21, R00 / E79, E77, E74
Pink - R85, R83, R81

Stamped all the images using Quill Cuties Stamps and Looking Sharp Stamps, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Quill Cuties Dies and Looking Sharp Dies. Added some glossy accents to the glasses and some wink of stella glitter to the other hearts before adding them on to the card. Stamped and heat embossed the sentiments and finished the card off by adding them on to the card.

Have a wonderful day!

Penguin Pair Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here sharing a card using the new Penguin Pair stamps!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Penguin Pair Friendship Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Bursting Hearts Dies, Inside Greetings Friends)

I started by stamping three penguins, outfits and accessories on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below. I then die cut the images out using the coordinating Penguin Pair dies. I glued the suit, the dress and the accessories to my penguins!

Copic colors used:
Penguins: N3/5/6/8, C0/1, R00/30/32, YR21/24/27
Accessories and outfits: RV52/55/V000, R22/24/27
Hearts: R22/24/27

For my card I used an A2 size card base, I then trimmed a piece of white and a piece of pink cardstock 5,5 x 4,25 inches and ran the white piece through my die cutting machine with the Bursting Hearts Die. Next, I adhered the pink panel to the card base using double sided tape, and on top of that pink panel I glued the white panel with the cut-out hearts.

I trimmed another piece of white card stock 5,5 x just shy of 1,75 inches for the lower part of the card front for the penguins to sit/stand on and to stamp the sentiment. Next, I trimmed a piece of black card stock 5,5 x 1.75 inches. I adhered the two pieces together with double sided tape, having a thin black strip showing to separate the bottom piece from the die cut piece, and lastly, I adhered that piece to the card base.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Inside Greetings Friends StampsI added foam dots to back of the penguins for dimension and adhered them to the card!

Thanks for stopping by! Wishing you all a happy and colorful day!
