Stitched Oval Die Focused Cards with Franci and Julia

Hi there and happy Wednesday! It's Franci here with you today with a festive card featuring some of the new oval dies by Sunny Studio. These new dies are so much fun and creating shaped cards is always so cool! 

For this one I chose one of my favorite sets and went for a non-traditional color scheme with rich purples and violet and lots of gold details. First of all I stamped all my images from the Holy Night set, colored them with Copics and die cut them out. Then I die cut 2 Stitched Oval 2 out of white cardstock and a Scalloped Oval Mat 1 out of kraft cardstock.

Working with the white ones: I created a hill out of the first using the Slimline Nature set and inked the second one with Distress inks + I added some splatters using my sparkle watercolors to create a starry night sky.

I drew some little white dots with my Gelly roll pen onto the scalloped oval and glued all the layers together with liquid glue. I stamped my sentiment from the Inside Greetings set and added all the images with foam tape + a little heart. I created a coordinated card base out of white cardstock with the partial die cutting technique and mounted my decorated panel on top.

Hello crafty friends! It’s Julia here and I am so excited to share my second fall card of the season with you!

First, I stamped the images from Fall Friends and Seasonal Trees onto Strathmore Bristol smooth cardstock and I colored them in using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

I die-cut the second to largest Scalloped Oval Mat 1 out of Neenah Desert Storm. Then,  I also die-cut the second to largest of the Stitched Oval 2 dies twice out of Bristol smooth cardstock. I used the Slimline Nature Borders to add a grassy edge to one of the stitched ovals. I ink blended both stitched ovals with Distress Oxide inks. 

Inks used: Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron, and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides. 

Zig Markers used: 999; 41, 44; 76, 64, 65, 62;220, 269, 21.

After that, I die cut the fishtail banner from the Stitched Rectangle dies and heat embossed my sentiment from the Fall Friends set on it in white.

I used the gorgeous teal patterned paper from the new Sweater Weather paper collection and added it to a kraft card base. I made sure to leave a nice 1/8" border. Then, I adhered the scalloped oval in the center with foam squares and layered the stitched ovals on top.

Lastly, I adhered all my images and the sentiment banner to the card.

Crisp Autumn Cards with Isha and Kavya

Hello everyone, Isha here with you! I hope you enjoyed the AWESOME release by Mendi. Today, I am featuring the Crisp Autumn stamp from the new release. This is one of my favourite sets as it's very versatile and the layering stamps make it so easy to achieve lovely results.

I started by stamping the various images from the Crisp Autumn stamp set, as per the instructions HERE using a variety of colors of inks. Die-cut using coordinating dies. Stamp the fox from the Fall Friends stamp set, color and die-cut using the coordinating dies. 

I then took the wood-grain paper from the Subtle Grey Tones paper pad, die-cut it using the frame from Frilly Frames Quatrefoil die. Adhere to a white card base. Arrange the images and adhere to the card.

Stamp the sentiment from the Fall Friends stamp. I really love this sentiment. It's perfect for the special friends in your life. To finish, adhere a few crystal clear jewels.

Hi folks, Kavya here. I am back on the blog with a fun card from the new release! For me fall = all things pumpkin and spice. I mark my time from when Starbucks releases their official Fall menu for the season. I don’t drink coffee but I definitely look forward to their fall themed food. This card was inspired by pumpkin spice food and beverages in my life :) 

I first started off by ink blending a fall background on A2 cardstock using Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade and Crushed Olive distress oxide inks. I then cut a smaller sized cream cardstock for the center portion of my card. Later, I stamped multiple images from the following sets and colored them using alcohol markers. As always, I added extra details using a white gel pen!

• Crisp Autumn for all the leaves and pumpkins
• Harvest Happiness and Bountiful Autumn for pumpkin pies 
• Fall Friends for the cute little critter 
• Mug Hugs - This set was initially created for the winter but by simply using a different color scheme, you can turn it into a fall themed set complete with cinnamon sticks! 

I then arranged all the images as shown in the images and finally heat embossed sentiments from Harvest Happiness and Crisp Autumn to finish off my card!

Fall Friends Cards with Ashley and Mayra

Hi friends! It's Ashley with my first post here featuring the new release! Have you checked everything out yet? It is so amazing!!! For today, I made a cute little pumpkin patch scene for one of the new Fall Friends. He's just adorable in his oversized pumpkin!

I started by blending some Distress Oxide inks in Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves, and Tattered Rose onto white cardstock. I splattered the piece with some watered down gold acrylic paint and heat set it before using the largest Stitched Rectangle die to cut it out. I added it to a piece of blue leafy patterned paper from the new Sweater Weather pack. This leafy design is definitely a new favorite! It's gorgeous! I really hope it comes in more colors in the future - maybe for spring!

I stamped my images from Fall Friends along with a few extra pumpkins from Happy Harvest in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and colored with Copics. I cut everything out with the matching dies, then added the images to the card, popping a few pumpkins up with foam tape for dimension. The large pumpkin die actually cuts a little slit to tuck your critter into if you prefer as well! I stamped a sentiment from Happy Harvest in VersaMark ink and embossed with gold to finish off the card. It's so hard to see in the photos, but this card really shines in the light!

Hello everyone, happy Monday!! Mayra here with you today sharing this fun card using the adorable new Fall Friends stamp set. 

I started by coloring all of the images using Copic markers. Along with the Fall Friends set, I used the pumpkin from the Fall Kiddos set, and the other mushrooms from the Home Sweet Gnome set. For the raccoons, I used W5, W3, W1, C9, C7, and C5. For the pumpkins, I used YR18, YR67, YR07, YR04, and YR21.

Next, I die cut the layers to create the card and tag. For the base panel I used the large and smaller rectangles from the Stitched Rectangles die set, the patterned paper is from the Sweater Weather and the Dots & Stripes Jewel Tones paper pads, the grass border is from the Picket Fence die set, the tag is from the Scalloped Tag Square die set, and the hillside from the Slimline Nature Border dies. I added color to the base using Distress Oxide inks, I used Prize Ribbon and Salty Ocean.
