Lovable Llama Card with Tina

Hello crafty friends, Tina here and today we are making a fun shaker birthday card! The super adorable llama is from the Lovable Llama stamp set and comes with matching dies. This set also includes a pile of presents which would work great with the Perfect Gift Boxes, so that is the design I am going for!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Lovable Llama Birthday Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Stitched Arch Dies, Perfect Gift Boxes, Happy Thoughts)

First, I cut a panel from white Neenah paper with the outer of the Frilly Frames Stripes dies. I then dry embossed this piece with the Quilted Hearts folder. I love the subtle detail it gives to a simple white background!

The shaker opening was created with the largest Stitched Arch die. I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of this panel with strong double-sided tape. Then I build a ‘wall’ for my shaker around the arch with double sided foam tape.

I folded a white card base and glued a piece of pattern paper with cute hearts (Subtle Grey Tones paper pad) to the front of the base. This will be the backing for the shaker element of this card. The three boxes were cut from pink, purple and orange tones (Gingham Pastel paper pad) with white trim and lids.

The focal element of the card is this adorable llama with the party hat and gifts (Lovable Llama stamp set). All these images were colored with Copic markers. I also added a small bow tie from Spring Showers. The sentiment was selected from the Happy Thoughts set and stamped onto a small white strip with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

After filling the shaker with pink, purple and clear sequins from my stash, I added all my images and sentiment to the arch window frame. A few Chrystal Clear Jewels were adhered to the gift boxes and the little bow tie.

I had a lot of fun creating this shaker with the cutest llama ever! Can’t wait to see your creations! Thank you for visiting the blog and happy crafting!

Crepe Paper Streamers Card with Marine

Hi crafty friends, Marine here! I'm back today with a very colorful mini slimline birthday shaker card showcasing the Crepe Paper Streamers, as well as three lovely kitties from Birthday Cat.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Crepe Paper Streamer Die Focused Birthday Card by Marine Simon (featuring Notebook Dies, Birthday Cat, Wonky Window Dies)

I started off by creating my shaker panel using the same process as the Season's Tweeting card I made a while ago. I first cut a 6 x 3 inches Spring Sunburst rainbow polka dot panel, and cut three Wonky Windows out of it. Still at the back of my polka dot panel, I attached a piece of acetate, added foam strips along the four edges and around each window, and poured some Birthday Cake Dot Sprinkles and iridescent confetti inside each window. I cut a 6 x 3 inches white card base, and attached another Spring Sunburst pattern paper on top of it, and then attached my card base at the back of my Wonky Window panel to close the shaker windows.

Next I stamped my images from Birthday Cat on Transotype perfect coloring paper using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I used the coordinating dies to cut them, and then colored my three cupcakes using Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and Graph'it brush markers. To match the card base, I went for rainbow shades to color the cupcake cases, and next I attached a cupcake on each window using 1mm foam squares.

For my sentiment, I cut a black banner using a die from the Notebook Photo Corners die set, I white heat embossed my "Meow is the time to celebrate" greeting from Birthday Cat on top, and then attached the banner below the windows using 1mm foam squares.

Next I created some colorful Crepe Paper Streamers. I cut several streamers out of white cardstock using the long dies from the set, and used the small dies to cut many colorful pieces. Attached those tiny pieces on the white steamers in a rainbow order to match the card base, and then stuck the streamers above the windows using 1mm foam squares.

And that's it! Super cute and very festive with those cheeky kitties and bright colors. Hope you like it! Thank you so much for stopping by, and see you next time!

Special Day Card with Marine

Hey crafty friends, Marine here, I'm thrilled to be back on the blog today with this adorable wedding shaker card showcasing one of the gorgeous cakes from Special Day, as well as some cute wedded bunnies and guests from Bunnyville.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Special Day Wedding Shaker Card by Marine Simon (featuring Bunnyville, Stitched Arch Dies)

As very often I started off by stamping my images on Transotype perfect coloring paper using an alcohol marker friendly black ink. I cut them all using the coordinating dies, and colored everything using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and Graph'it Brush markers. And in addition to the images from Special Day and Bunnyville, I picked the banner from Balloon Rides, the bow from Passionate Penguins and the grass from Garden Critters.

Once the images were colored, I moved on to the background, and cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches Strathmore bristol smooth panel that I colored using stencils and oxide inks. On the upper part I created the sky using a cloudy stencil along with salvaged patina + peacock feathers oxide inks. And on the lower part I created grass borders using grass stencils along with shabby shutters + mowed lawn oxide inks.

Next I cut a Stitched Arch window out of my panel, folded an A2 size white card base, and attached the middle part of my panel on that card base using the rest of the panel as a guide. At the back of the rest of my panel I stuck a piece of acetate to create the window, and then added foam tape all around the arch to create dimension and room for my shaker accessories. I rubbed my powder tool all along the foam strips to make them non sticky, poured some polymer clay heart confetti and iridescent confetti on the card base, and finally attached my window panel on the card base to close the shaker.

Before sticking the images on the card, I created the greeting. I cut a dark kraft banner as wide as the arch window, white heat embossed my "Wishing you a big slice of happiness" sentiment from Special Day on top of it, and attached this banner below the arch window to create some sort of a globe. Next I attached all my cute images, and finished the card by adding highlights and details using a white gel pen.

And that's it! Love how it turned out, this wedding cake is really gorgeous and those happy bunnies are super cute! Thank you so much for stopping by, and see you next week!

Berry Bliss Card with Marine

Hello crafty friends! Marine here with you today, so happy to be back on the blog with this infinity shaker card showcasing some delicious strawberries from Berry Bliss

Sunny Studio Stamps: Berry Bliss Card by Marine Simon (featuring Hayley Alphabet Dies, Crisp Autumn)

Speaking of which, I first started with the strawberries, and I used premium dye inks by Lawn Fawn to stamp them. I stamped the first layer using Ballet Slippers ink, the second one using Peachy Keen ink, and the third one using Guava ink. Next I added greenery on top of each strawberry and stamped some extra leaves using Crisp Autumn. I used Celery Stick ink to stamp the first layer, and Freshly Cut Grass ink to stamp the second one, and for the leaves I used Jalapeno ink to stamp the third layer. I cut all the images using the coordinating dies, and then moved on to the shaker panel that I created using the same process as my Autumn Tree card.

I first cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches Spring Sunburst panel, and also cut a plastic storage sleeve to get one single sheet of plastic. Added thin double sided tape all along the four edges of my plastic sheet, placed my panel in the middle and cut the four corners off the plastic sheet, creating tabs on each side of my panel. I folded and attached three of those four tabs, added a mix of polymer clay confetti and iridescent confetti inside the plastic pocket, and then folded and attached the remaining tab to close my infinity shaker panel.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Berry Bliss Card by Marine Simon (featuring Hayley Alphabet Dies, Crisp Autumn)

I attached the strawberries at the bottom of the shaker panel using 1mm foam squares, and next I created my "Hi sweetie" greeting using the Hayley Lowercase Alphabet. I cut each letter twice: out of gold glitter cardstock and out white cardstock. I glued the gold glitter letters on top of the white ones, and finally I stuck everything on my panel right above the strawberries.

And that's it! I hope you like this super cute and fun shaker card! Thanks so much for stopping by, and see you next time!

Birthday Mouse Card with Catherine

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Catherine here! Today, I am sharing a fun Circus themed birthday card created with the adorable Birthday Mouse Stamps.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Birthday Mouse Circus Themed Birthday Shaker Card by Catherine Cohen (featuring Fluffy Clouds Border Dies, Country Carnival, Loopy Letter Dies)

With Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide, I ink blended A2 white cardstock using a cloud stencil created with Fluffy Clouds Border Dies. I splattered some blue watercolor and some gold shimmer spray for added details. I set the panel aside to dry.

Next, I die cut two cloudy borders, one with white cardstock and the other with vellum using Fluffy Clouds Border Dies. I ink blended the white cloudy border with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide and splattered the border with blue watercolor. I stamped “Birthday” from Panda Party Stamps onto the blue cloudy border.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Birthday Mouse Circus Themed Birthday Shaker Card by Catherine Cohen (featuring Fluffy Clouds Border Dies, Country Carnival, Loopy Letter Dies)

I stamped the mouse from Birthday Mouse Stamps, party hat from Purrfect Birthday Stamps, and circus tents from Country Carnival Stamps. I die cut the images with the coordinating dies. I colored the images with Copic Markers listed in my blog link below. I made the tight rope by tracing the edge of an oval plate with a black multi-liner and then fussy cutting the rope.

For the front panel, I die cut acetate to A2 size and a frame out of white cardstock. I adhered the images and the cloudy borders onto the acetate and glued the frame over top. I added Party Confetti, Crystal Clear Jewels, and some gold crystals onto the back panel and adhered the front panel on top.

I finished off the card with a White Heat Embossed sentiment from Panda Party and the word “fun” die cut with red cardstock using Loopy Letters Dies.

Thank you so much for joining me today! Please feel free to visit me at Crafti-Cat for a listed of Copic Markers used.

Scrumptious Cupcakes Card with Marine

Hi crafty friends, Marine here today to offer you a delicious cupcake from Scrumptious Cupcakes! I created this birthday shaker card using bits and pieces from different sets, and the first thing I did was to create the background.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Scrumptious Cupcakes Birthday Card by Marine Simon (featuring Bursting Hearts Dies, Scalloped Circle Mat Dies, Stitched Circle Dies)

I cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches Strathmore bristol smooth panel, and used distress oxide inks to color it. From the center: kitsch flamingo, squeezed lemonade and salvaged patina. As always I splattered the panel with water and white ink to make it less flat, and set it aside to dry.

Next I worked on the shaker panel. I cut a white Bursting Hearts panel, as well as a white frame using a die from my stash. I attached the frame on the front of the bursting hearts panel, and at the back I stuck an acetate panel. Still at the back of the bursting hearts panel, I attached foam strips all along the four edges, added golden heart sequins on the acetate, and then stuck my oxide ink panel on the foam strips to close my shaker panel. I attached it on a card base, and then moved on to the cupcake.

I created it using Lawn Fawn Inks. For the cupcake case I used butter + lemonade + sunflower inks, for the cupcake itself I used doe ink, and for the frosting I used ballet slippers + peachy keen + wild rose inks.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Scrumptious Cupcakes Birthday Card by Marine Simon (featuring Bursting Hearts Dies, Scalloped Circle Mat Dies, Stitched Circle Dies)

I cut each element using the coordinating dies, and set them aside for a minute because I wanted to add a small background behind my cupcake. As a base I cut a scalloped circle out of a Dots & Stripes Pastels pattern paper using a Scalloped Circle Mat 1 die, and then I cut a gold glitter frame using the same Scalloped Circle Mat 1 die as well a Stitched Circle Large die to create a frame that I attached on the scalloped circle.

I stuck my scalloped element in the middle of the Bursting Hearts panel, and then the cupcake on top using 1mm foam squares. Next I white heat embossed my greeting on a Notebook Photo Corners black banner combining words from Garden Fairy and Panda Party, and I attached the banner below the cupcake.

And that's it! Thank you so much for stopping by, and see you next week!
