Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Keeway Tsao

Hello friends! It’s Keeway Tsao from Kiwi Koncepts and I’m so excited to be here today to share with you some fun holiday inspirations with the Winter 2019 release!

My first showcases the Merry Mice stamp and dies and Christmas Garland frame die. I first stamped the mice in stockings in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them up with copic markers. I then used the matching dies to die cut the images out.

Next, I die cut the Christmas Garland frame out of white card stock. I then used a blending brush to ink blend various green distress oxide inks onto the frame. The different green inks add variation and depth to the pine. I ink blended an A2 panel with a lighter green and yellow ink colors to back the frame and also added berries that I had die cut out of red card stock.

I stamped the sentiment in the bottom center and added my images above it with foam tape. Finally, I lightly dabbed on glue around each berry and sprinkled chunky glitter onto it to give it a sparkly look. After giving it a few minutes to dry, I used a brush to gently remove any loose glitter remaining on the card.

My next card showcases the Santa Claus Lane stamps and dies and Layered Snowflake Frame Die. Again, I stamped my images in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. I die cut the images out with the matching dies.

My background costs of three layers. The bottom layer is ink blended with Blueprint Sketch, Broken China, and Tumbled Glass distress oxide inks and splattered with white paint. The center layer is die cut with the smaller of the two Layered Snowflake Frames out of white card stock and gently blended with Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink. The top layer is die cut with the larger of the two Layered Snowflake Frames out of white card stock and ink blended with Broken China and Tumbled Glass distress oxide inks. These layers were adhered together.

I used the large ‘merry christmas’ sentiment die from Christmas Garland frame die out of red card stock. This was added towards the bottom half of the card, with the images right above it with foam tape. Now that I’m in the glittery mood, I decided to dab some clear adhesive around the frame to add some chunky glitter around the snowflake frame for a sparkly final touch!

Hedgey Holidays Cards with Rachel and Candice

Hello, crafty friends! It's Rachel here and I have some fun Christmas tags to share with you today featuring the sweetest little hedgehog from the Hedgey Holidays Stamp Set. I combined this cute little mini stamp set with the Build-A-Tag #2 Die Set and the Holiday Cheer 6x6 Paper Pack to create some easy tags that would go great with your Christmas gifts!

I stamped my hedgehogs onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored them with Copics. (Colors used: Body: E41, E41, E43, E44; Spines: E31, E23, E25; Reds: R46, R89; Greens: YG01, YG07, YG17, G28; Blues: B0000, B01, B02, B06; Whites: 0, C00, C2, C4.) I used the coordinating Dies to cut them out and attached them to my tags with some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape.

I cut a second coordinating tag layer to attach behind all of my tags and stamped each of them with some "To:" and "From:" sentiments from the Christmas Icons Stamp Set. I fished off each tag by stamping the sentiment onto another strip of white card stock and attaching it all together with some green & white striped twine.

Hey, it's Candice here. This little cutie is part of the Black Friday deals at Sunny Studio Stamps and I used it to make a cute Christmas card!

All the Sunny Studio Stamps products I used:

I started my card by creating an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which fits into a standard or 9A size envelope. For the background, I first inked a trimmed piece with worn lipstick & spun sugar and splattered with red shimmer spray. I then repeatedly stamped the Hedgehogs, colored them with Copic markers and die cut one extra and pop dotted on top of the center one.

To finish the card, I added some strings of lights that I layered for depth along with the Merry Christmas topped with foil mint paper. I also added the sentiment onto the speech bubble along with the holly colored with Copics.

Hedgey Holidays Cards with Anja and Vanessa

Hello everyone, Anja here and today I'm sharing a special card with you showcasing the exclusive Hedgey Holidays mini stamp set which is part of the ongoing Black Friday promo.

I combined this cutie with one of the over-sized Season's Greetings sentiments. I did a snowy background using the Emboss Resist technique. Therefore, I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I applied Distress Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and a tiny bit of Black Soot) over the heat embossed sentiment creating a blue gradient. For the snow, I splattered on lots of white paint with a brush.

Next, I stamped the images in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I did some watercoloring and cut out the images with the coordinating dies. I popped up the hedgehog with foam tape and adhered Peppermint Confetti clay embellishments to finish off my card.

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a card using the adorable, exclusive Hedgey Holidays set. I just love this cute fella, I had to use him repeatedly.

First, I die-cut the squares, using the Window Trio Square Dies. Now I stamped the images and the sentiment, colored everything with Copics and adhered the squares to a panel of white cardstock. 

I covered the front of my card base with red striped paper from the Very Merry 6x6 Paper Pad and adhered the panel to the card with foam tape. Finally, I added Peppermint Confetti pieces.

Hedgey Holiday Cards with Ana and Franci

Hello crafties! It’s Ana here today sharing a card and a tag using super adorable Hedgey Holidays stamp set as well as few other of my favorite products from Sunny Studio!

I stamped the hedgey three times, holly images twice, colored them with alcohol markers and cut them with coordinating dies. Presents and part of the sentiment are from Alpaca Holiday stamp set.

I used a snowy scene page from Very Merry 6x6 paper pack to create a background for both my card and tag, as well as red and green patterned papers from the same paper pack, for the card frame and tag topper. I cut an extra tag out of white cardstock and topper out of green patterned paper for the back side of the tag. For the card frame I used largest inside and outside Fancy Frames Square Dies and for the tag Build-A-Tag #2 Dies.

I assembled the card and tag adding snow pen to each below the hedgehogs and presents for some texture. Finally, I stamped the sentiment on the card background and To and From on the back of the tag with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and my projects were finished!

Hello crafty friends! Franci here with you today and I'm super happy to share a project featuring the mini Hedgey Holidays set!!

Aww this little festive critter is sooo adorable!! First of all I created a card base out of white cardstock and I cut out a white matching panel. I added some sparkle watercolor splatters on it, let everything dry completely and stamped my sentiment in the bottom right corner.

As everything was dry I added the wood detail using the Woodgrain Embossing folder and die cut the Christmas word out of some sparkle glittered gold cardstock using a die from the Christmas Garland Frame die. I stamped, colored and die cut all the images (I also added some holly and little hearts from the Santa Claus Lane set and the Hogs & Kisses one) and I added some details with a white gel pen. 

I arranged all my critters and all the other elements on to the panel that I previously glued down to my card with some liquid glue (or you can use strong double sided adhesive) to give the idea of a little Christmas tree shape and the card is complete!

Hedgey Holidays Cards with Angelica and Juliana

Hi friends! Angelica here, and I have a festive card to share with you today, featuring the Hedgey Holidays stamp set. 

I stamped two rows of hedge with chocolate ink. I colored the images with the following Copic colors: E04, E11, YR000, YR0000; E47, E44, E43, E42; R59, R29, R24, R22; YG17, YG05, YG01. I stamped a sentiment from the set with black ink, then attached the panel to a card base.

Hello Sunny Studio Friends! It's Juliana here and today I have a Christmas card to share with you using the adorable Hedgey Holidays Stamp Set.

To begin, I stamped the cute hedgehog from the Hedgy Holidays Stamp Set three times along with the little holly sprig. I then colored them using Copic Markers and die cut them using the coordinating dies.

Next, I created the card front using a mix of patterned papers from the Holiday Cheer 6x6 Paper Pad and Very Merry 6x6 Paper Pad. I then added the sentiment to complete the card. Yes, this card is quite simple, but sometimes we need that quickness when creating our cards for the holiday season!
