Tiki Time Cards with Julia and Franci

Hey crafty friends! It’s Julia here with a cute beach party card!

For this one, I stamped out my images from Tiki Time, Harvest Mice, Beach Buddies and Beach Babies onto Transotype Perfect Coloring Paper and colored them in using Copic Markers. 

Copic Markers used: 0; N0, N1, N3, N5, N7; RV10, R11, R14, R17, R29; G40, G43, G46, G17; Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17; YR12, YR14, YR18, E21, E23, E25.

After that, I ink blended the background using Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink and added some splatters for more interest. Then, I die cut a hill panel as well as a wave border using the Slimline Nature Borders. For the ocean I used Peacock Feathers and for the sandy hill I used Antique Linen, Tea Dye and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide.

I adhered my background panel to a card base and my waves and sandy beach on top. Then it was finally time to build my scene! I attached all my images using liquid glue and foam squares. I heat embossed the sentiment from Tiki Time in white onto black cardstock and added it to the card with foam squares.

Finally, I added shimmer and and crystal glaze to add sparkle! Those mice having a little cocktail party at the beach are so cute and the heart shaped glasses one the adorable little barkeeper just crack me up! I really hope you like it!

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's Franci here with you today, with a cute little home decor made with the new adorable Tiki Time set! Aww I love this set so much! 

When I first saw it back then I thought: "I need to create something special with it!" and here we are.. I created a little piece of home décor! It's also a very quick and easy project and I love that I can now enjoy it as a little home décor piece.

First of all I stamped, colored with Copics and die cut all the images, then I added some details with a white gel pen to them all.

I cut out a piece of light pink cardstock as my background and glued down all my elements into this cute beach scene with foam adhesive. I chose foam adhesive and not to frame it with the plastic/glass piece and just to use the frame but you can chose liquid glue and frame it traditionally of course.

And that's it, your summer frame décor is done! I can't wait to keep it on my desk through the whole season, but I may create more cause this would be a lovely little handmade gift!

Chloe Alphabet Die Focused Cards with Kavya and Isha

Hi folks, Kavya here. I am back on the blog with another fun card inspired by the movie - UP! Ever since I laid my eyes on the gorgeous home stamp sets, I knew I wanted to recreate it. 

I first started off by stamping and coloring images from Happy Home Stamp and Floating By Stamp. I then ink blended a 7.5”x3.5” blue cardstock using shades of blue and purple. I then die cut a cloud border using Slimline Nature Border dies and a pale blue cardstock. 

Later I stamped a sentiment from Balloon Rides stamp set and die cut the word ’soar’ using Chloe Alphabet dies. Finally, I added a filmstrip from Fall Flicks Filmstrip to the background and arranged the stamped images!

Hello everyone! Isha here today with a CAS card featuring the wonderful Chloe Alphabet dies. I really love the font so decided to keep them as my focal point.

To start, I created the background panel by applying Kitsch Flamingo and Abandoned Coral distress oxide inks. Die-cut this panel using the Stitched Rectangle die. Flick water using a brush to add interest. Adhere to a white card base. Die-cut the alphabets using the Chloe Alphabet dies. Create the sentiment "Home Sweet Home".

I die-cut the tiny house from the Comic Strip Everyday dies, colored it using Copic markers and adhered it instead of "O" in the bottom row. I then stamped the birds from the Seasonal Trees stamp set, color using Copics and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Adhere to the card using 3D foam.

Color My World Cards with Mayra and Ashley

Hello and Happy Monday everyone. Mayra here with you today. I am sharing this thank you card using the cute Color My World stamps. 

I began by die cutting the 'crayon box' by using the Gift Card Pocket die, I cut it twice from yellow cardstock. I then cut a strip of green cardstock to create the stripes on the box. Next, I die cut the oval that would go on the center. I then used the sun, trees, and house from the Balloon Rides stamp set to create the panel to look like a drawing. I used the smaller of the stitched rectangles from the Stitched Rectangles die set to die cut the panel. I also used the banner from this set. 

I then stamped the layers to create each of the crayons. I used the PinkFresh Studios ink sets in the colors Heartbeat, and Wild Truffles. For the green color, I used Lawn Fawn inks: Celery Stick, Freshly Cut Grass, Jalapeno, and Noble Fir. For the yellow, I used Butter (LF ink), Squeezed Lemonade (Distress Oxide ink), Sunflower (LF ink), No.2 Pencil (LF ink). For the blue color, I used the Northern Shore color set by Altenew. 

I colored the images on the small panel using Copic markers. For the red, I used R05, R46, and R17. For the yellow, I used Y11, Y08, Y19, and YR24. For the green, I used YG01, YG17, and G46. I then heat embossed the sentiments onto the die-cut banner, and oval from the Teacher Appreciation stamp set.

Hi friends! It's Ashley with a cute card that is perfect for that special teacher in your child's life. Plus, there is no coloring required!

I started this card by stamping the crayon from Color My World several times using many different Pinkfresh Studio cube sets. These are my absolute favorite for layering stamps and I love that Sunny Studio carries them in the store! I decided to skip the black lines on the crayons to keep them softer, so once I was done with the four colored layers, I cut all my crayons out with the matching die.

I cut a white rectangle out using the medium sized Stitched Rectangle die and layered the crayons along the bottom edge in a staggered rainbow pattern. I trimmed off the excess, then added the piece to a grey starburst paper from the Subtle Grey Tones paper pad. I stamped the large "teacher" from Teacher Appreciation in black ink, then finished the sentiment with "you color my world" from Color My World. I stamped that section on black cardstock with VersaMark and embossed with white before adding it to the card with foam tape.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Beach Buddies & Outback Critter Cards with Karin Åkesdotter

Hi Everyone! I'm Karin Åkesdotter from Peppermint Patty’s Papercraft and I am so excited to be here to share some cards that I've created with Sunny Studio Stamp’s summer release!

For my first card I Made a card base from turquoise cardstock and then die cut a panel from white cardstock that I inked using distress ink to create the beach/sky bg. I stamped my sentiment and then die cut the word "Sunshine" using the new super cool Chloe Alphabet dies. I colored them in bright sun-yellow, covered them in glitter and added glossy accent on top for a shiny 3d effect. Then stamped colored and fussy cut the images from Beach Buddies.

The adorable kangaroo from Outback Critters is perfect for a sweet Welcome Baby card. I love that the cool Chloe Alphabet dies becomes quite elegant when cut from gold cardstock! I used the Frilly Frame Eyelet Lace die to create the soft and lovely background for the card.

The Outback Critters and fun Chloe Alphabet dies added on top of a Blooming Frame die cut background cover cut from green cardstock creates such a fast but very cute and fun card. I used Copic markers for my coloring. The stamped sentiments make the card complete.

Last but not least I have a super fast and easy card design. First I made a card base made from Acetate. I then die cut Frilly Frame Eyelet Lace from white cardstock and ran it through my Xyron creative station to get adhesive on the back and then adhered it to the base. I stamped, masked and stamped again and then colored and fussy cut the cute images from Beach Buddies before adhering them to my card with foam adhesive.
