Window Trio Heart Die Focused Card with Nicky

Welcome to the Sunny Studio Stamps blog friends! This is Nicky with you today and I have fun mini slimline card to share with you that features the Window Trio Hearts Landscape Die in combination with other Sunny products. Read on for all the details.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Window Trio Heart Die Focused Birthday Card with Nicky Meeks (featuring Foxy Friends, Brilliant Banner Dies)

I created two mini slimline panels of white cardstock with dimensions of 6 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches. With one of the panels I ink blended with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink, fading away to the white at the bottom. I then die cut the panel using the Window Trio Hearts landscape Die.  I laid the die cut panel on top of the second mini slimline panel and glued the hearts in place. I then added foam tape to the rest of the die cut panel and stuck it down carefully so that I was aligning the hearts properly.

I put a fairly generous amount of glue into each indented heart shape and I sprinkled in a pastel mix of sequins and tapped them down just a little and left them to dry.

I stamped and Copic coloured the images from Foxy Friends. Here are the combinations used:

Foxes - E99, E15, E13, E11, C3, C1, C0
Blushes - R22, R21, R20, R00
Birds - BG34, BG11, C3, C1

The images were die cut using the coordinating dies and applied to the scene with dimensional foam tape and I also added a little highlighting with a white gel pen.

I arranged the words to form the sentiment on my stamping block so that they mirrored the curl of the Brilliant Banner 3 Die which I'd used to die cut white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment with black ink and then used a little peachy pink ink to blend the parts of the banner and then glued them together. The banner was backed with foam tape and applied above the trio of hearts.

Lastly, I used Copic W3 and W1 to add shade under the foxes and birds and I dotted in a little interest within the shaded area with a metallic gel pen.

I hope you enjoyed this card. I wish you some happy time this weekend in your craft space and I'll be back next Friday with something new.

Cat Antics Card with Marine

Hello crafty friends, Marine here, I'm happy to be back with this colorful and festive birthday card showcasing a mix & match of recent and previously released items, including Cat Antics from the Spring 2025 release. I've created this card as a companion to the Party Pets slimline card I shared a few weeks ago, and I love how they're both different but compliment each other very well.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Cat Antics Birthday Card by Marine Simon (featuring Party Pets, Holiday Express, Ribbon & Lace Border Dies, Stitched Square Dies)

I started off by stamping the images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink. I cut them all using the coordinating dies, and colored everything using my Ohuhu markers and my Graph'it brush markers in a color palette I really love: pink, orange and yellow, with touches of brown. Here is a detailed list of the stamp sets I used: • Cat Antics - cats • Party Pets - balloons, party hats, presents • Holiday Express - train • Balloon Rides - banners.

Next I cut multiple stripes out of colored cardstock using a Ribbon & Lace Border die, and attached them all on a slightly smaller panel than the regular A2 size using liquid glue. I mixed copic opaque white ink with water and used a slim brush to add splatters to my stripe panel, and then did the same with fossilized amber distress spritz for a touch of gold. Once it was dry,  I stuck my stripe panel to a 5,5 x 4,25 inches white panel, and then the whole thing to a white card base.

I cut three squares out of different Gingham Pastels papers using the 1-1/2 inch Stitched Square die, attached those squares on the upper part of my card using 1mm foam squares, I stuck all the images using foam squares again, and then added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen.

For my sentiment, I cut a speech bubble out of vellum using a Comic Strip Speech Bubbles die, I gold heat embossed "Make A Wish" from Make A Wish on the vellum bubble, and attached it on my panel using transparent foam squares. To finish my card, I glued a scattering of mini star confetti to add even more cuteness and shine to my panel.

And that's it! I hope you like this fun and lovely birthday card. Thanks so much for stopping by, and see you next week!

Inside Greetings Belated Birthday Card with Tina

Hi crafty friends, Tina here and although not often, it does happen that I forget to send a birthday card. Those are the times when the Inside Greetings Belated Birthday stamp set comes to the rescue! In this instance, I stamped a shorter sentiment from the set onto a white banner and put it on the outside of my card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Inside Greetings Belated Birthday Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Balloon Rides, Stitched Arch Dies, Lots of Dots Embossing Folder)

I wanted to go for a ‘relatable scene’ and since hot air balloons travel slow, it would be the perfect match for the sentiment!

After creating a white card base, I die cut a panel from white card stock with the outer die from Frilly Frames Retro Petals. To create a ‘sky scene’, I transformed this piece into an arched frame (largest of the Stitched Arched dies). Next step was to dry emboss this frame with the Lots of Dots folder. I love that extra layer of detail!

I still had the inner arched piece of white card stock left and this will be become my sky by inking it with a light blue ink from my stash. Next, I cut two layers of white clouds.

After selecting the hot air balloon, the koala and three clouds from the Balloon Rides set, I started the coloring with my trusty Copic markers and a white gel pen for added details.

I assembled the different layers of this card, by gluing the cloud borders to the back of the frame. Next, I placed the arched piece, which fitted in like a puzzle piece! I held all these elements together with some tape on the back before I mounted everything to the card base.

I tucked the balloon and his cute passenger between the puffy borders, added the separate clouds and finally placed the sentiment banner. Adding a few Pastel Jewels finishes this sweet project.

Thank you for visiting the blog and happy crafting!

Balloon Numbers Card with Amanda

Hey there, crafty friends! Welcome back to the Sunny Studio Stamps Blog. I’m so happy you’re here! It’s Amanda here with you today! I have the perfect little card for a 12 year old and I’m going to tell you how I made it! I hope you’ll get inspired!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Balloon Number Focused Birthday Card by Amanda Fitterer (featuring Majestic Meadows, Foxy Friends)

First, I trimmed down a piece of white cardstock to 4”x5.25”. I stamped the Majestic Meadow background stamp with black ink. I also stamped a few clouds with black ink. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the background and clouds. Next, I trimmed another piece of white cardstock to 4”x5.25” and ink blended Catherine Pooler’s Quartz ink on the entire panel.

To create the awesome balloons, I used the Balloon Numbers Stamps and Dies. To create the 3D balloon effect, I first stamped the numbers with Catherien Pooler Wintergreen ink. Then, I lightly and delicately applied Seafoam with a tiny blending brush on the outside of the number stamps. I applied a little more on the right side of each number.

The little bunny is stamped from the Balloon Numbers Stamps. The other accessories and birds are from the Foxy Friends Stamps.

Here are the Copic markers I used to color the stamped images:
Trees:  G40, G43, G46, E30, E31, E35, YG91, YG95, YG97, YG99, YG61, YG63, YG67, G20, G21, G24, E43, E44, E47
Flowers: R81, R83, R85
Grass & Bird: YG0000, YG00, YG91, YG93
Bunny, Bird & Flower Pot: E30, E31, R33, E35, E37, R21, T7
Wagon: E43, E44, R81, R83, R85

Once everything was colored and cut, I was able to start assembling the card!  First, I placed everything where I think I wanted it to go. Then, I stamped the “YOU’RE” and “TODAY” sentiments directly onto the pink background panel. I then, used 3D foam tape to prop up the background image and clouds. I adhered them to my pink panel.

Then, I poked holes through the balloon numbers so I could thread a string through them. I wrapped the other end of the strings around my bunny’s paw. I put 3D foam squares on the back of all my images and placed them on the front of the card. I applied 3D foam tape on my background panel and adhered it to a white A2 card base.

I love how sweet this card came out and I can’t wait to give it to my niece for her 12th birthday! I hope you enjoyed this card as well! I also hope you find some time to get crafty today! Come back tomorrow for more crafty inspiration!

Doggone Birthday Card with Leanne

Hello everyone! Leanne here. Today's card has a birthday theme with a cute image from the Doggone Birthday stamp set. The card also features a more masculine color palette with shades of yellow, brown, and blue which is a departure from my usual pink heavy card designs. It's refreshing to change it up once in awhile!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Doggone Birthday Card by Leanne West (featuring Perfect Gift Boxes Dies)

The Sunny Studio supplies needed to recreate this card are the Doggone Birthday stamp set & it's coordinating dies plus the Perfect Gift Boxes stand alone die set

Here are the Copics I used to color the images: brown - E31, E33, E35; teal - BG70, BG02, BG07; yellow - Y21; shading on bone - W1, W3; rosy cheeks - RV23

I started with a kraft card base measuring 6 inches by 3.5 inches. I added a white panel trimmed a bit smaller than the card base. I used a paper punch to angle the corners of this panel.

When I had my stamped images colored and die cut and the gifts assembled, I played around with the arrangement while keeping in mind where to stamp the greeting. This is usually how most of my cards get created. I have a general idea of the design prior to starting, then after all my design elements are ready, I play around with composition before adhering everything in place permanently.

It's all part of my creative process!
