Critter Campout Card with Tina

Hello crafty friends, it’s Tina with a sweet outdoor card featuring the cute Critter Campout stamp and die set! We haven’t been camping in a long time, but I still remember how fun it was!

For my base panel I die cut a piece of white Neenah paper with a slimline die from my stash. The three grassy borders were inked with green Distress Oxide inks (Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn), for the sky I used Kitsch Flamingo. Of course, I had to add some splatters too!

Next, I stamped a combined sentiment from the Critter Campout stamp in the right upper corner of this panel. As always I used my trusty Versafine Onyx Black ink.

After selecting three adorable critters (Critter Campout stamp) I browsed through my stash to find some extra accessories, like the chair (Kiddie Pool), the ball and the bag (Beach Babies). I also stamped and colored two cute birdies from A Bird’s Life. 

To set the scene I selected the pine trees from Gleeful Reindeer. I always keep my Sunny Studio Christmas sets in a separate container nearby, so I can use elements from them all year round! All the coloring was done with Copic Markers, and I added some details with a white gel pen.

To assemble the card, I glued my base panel to a white card base and added all the critters and their camping gear. I tucked the sleeping bear (sooooo cute!!!) inside the tent so he could enjoy a little nap!

A few Chrystal Clear jewels were added as embellishments. These are by far my favorite gems as they go with so many designs!

Critter Campout Card with Marine

Hello crafty friends! Marine here, so happy to be back with a new 3D card showcasing the little guys from Critter Campout. It was my first time coloring them, and I had a lot of fun creating this camping in the woods scenery for them.

I started off with the coloring. I stamped all my images on Transotype perfect coloring paper using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, as always I used the coordinating dies to cut them all, and then colored everything using my Graph'it brush markers and Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers. And in addition to the little campers from Critter Campout, I picked the pine trees from Seasonal Trees, the tree trunk from Happy Harvest, and the grass sprigs from Bunnyville.

Once everything was colored, I cut all the 3D elements and built the card base. I wanted to have a night sky in the back, so I used blueprint sketch, chipped sapphire and black soot oxide inks to make a dark background. I also cut three grass borders using the grass die from Picket Fence Border Die, and colored those borders using mowed lawn and rustic wilderness oxide inks.

I attached five trees on the back panel using 1mm foam squares, and then the remaining images on the grass borders using 3mm glue dots. To decorate both sides of the card I used a plaid pattern paper from the Critter Country paper pack, and finally I white heat embossed my "Life with you is an adventure" greeting from Critter Campout on the front.

Autumn Tree Die Focused Cards with Kavya and Isha

Hi folks, Kavya here with another fun project using this quarter’s new release! I love creating critter scenes and I was so excited to see that we have a new large tree die! This is perfect for scene building. 

I created a fun little camping scene by staying and coloring images from Critter Campout and Spring Scene stamps. I then die cut the trees and leaves using Autumn Tree dies and cardstock. For my background, I used Faded Jeans, Dusty Concord, Shaded Lilac and Victorian Velvet distress oxide inks. 

Added a strip of green cardstock for the land and splattered some water and paint for drama. Adhered all the images and I was done! I decided to not add a sentiment so that I could use this for any occasion :)

Hello everyone, Isha here with a cute autumn theme card featuring the Autumn Tree die. This is such a versatile die and is perfect for any season.

I started by sponging some salvaged patina and peacock feathers distress ink to a white card. I then die-cut the tree and the leaves using the Autumn Tree dies. I used the negative of the tree die-cut as stencil and sponged some inks to the left side of the card. I sponged the tree using vintage photo and aged mahogany distress ink.

For the leaves, I used fossilized amber, picked raspberry, carved pumpkin, candid apple and twisted citron inks.

I stamped the reindeer from the Reindeer Games stamp set, color using copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Harvest Mice stamp set.

Adhere all the images to the panel and then adhere the frame from the Fancy Frames Rectangle dies. Adhere the panel to the white card base.

Designer's Choice Cards with Gladys and Alma

Hello friends! Gladys here and I'm back to share a beach theme card using the Tropical Trees Backdrop die. When I saw this die I knew I had to create a beach scene that reminds me of the many beautiful beaches and gorgeous sunsets in Hawaii.

As you know I love creating scenes with cute critters but I also enjoy creating cards using mostly dies. This Tropical Trees Backdrop die is awesome because it has all the elements you need to create amazing scenes with. To start I used the die to cut from Bristol smooth cardstock. I masked the largest negative to create a horizon. For the ocean I used peacock feathers and prized ribbon distress oxide inks. I used a small paint brush with white paint for the shoreline. For the sky, from the center out I used mustard seed, riped persimmon, picked raspberry and villainous potion on the outer edges. For the sand I used vintage photo and antique linen.

Next I die cut the palm trees and stitched frame from black cardstock. I die cut the two largest palm trees twice to give them dimension. I also used the seagull to cut from white cardstock. I colored the outer wings with copic markers. Next I adhered the frame onto a white card base and inlaid all the pieces. This is my favorite part because everything fits like a puzzle and then voila the scene comes together! Finally I stamped Aloha from the Tiki Time stamp set.

Hi, this is Alma and today I´d like to show you a double slider card. It´s an interactive design and it´s not difficult to create such a special card - You can find the tutorial on Youtube.

I used the amazing Critter Campout Stamps. I coloured all the cute critters with copics and cut them out. For my landscape I used the tree from the Seasonal Trees Stamps, the forest from the Winter Scene Stamps and the snowy mountains from the Spring Scenes Stamps. Then I cut them off, too. 

For the landscape in the background, I used the Forest Tree Stencil to wipe the background with the Distress Oxide Ink Black Soot. The Sky is coloured with the Distress Oxides Inks Chipped Saphire and Blueprint Sketch. Finally, I assembled all the individual parts!

Out On A Limb Cards with Isha and Kavya

Hello everyone! Isha with you today, sharing a cute slimline card featuring the new Out dOn A Limb dies. This is a lovely branch die-cut with intricate details in the leaves. I decided to turn it into a whimsical tree :)

I started by sponging distress inks to a white panel. Flick some ink. Die-cut the rectangle using the Slimline Scalloped Frame dies. Sponge another panel using mowed lawn and salvaged patina distress ink, die-cut the grassy border using the Slimline Nature Border dies. Adhere to the sponged panel.

Die-cut the branch and the leaves using Out On A Limb dies, color using copic markers. Stamp the images, die-cut and color using copic markers. I used Bunnyville Stamp and coordinating dies and the Little Birdie stamps and coordinating dies. 

I stamped the sentiment from the Lovey Dovey stamps using coral and pink ink. Die-cut using the coordinating dies. I die-cut the sentiment two more times using the dies and stacked them all together.

Assemble the images to create the scene. Thank you for dropping by. Have a nice day!

Hi folks, Kavya her. I am back on the blog with another fun project using the latest release. The new Out on a Limb die set pairs perfectly with the new Cherry Blossoms, Little Birdie and A Bird’s Life stamp sets. But, it is also perfect for creating adorable jungle scenes! 

I first started off by ink blending a mini slimline sized cardstock using Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple and Ripe Persimmon distress oxide inks. For the grass, I ink blended a piece of green cardstock with Forest Amos’s distress oxide ink. 

Then, I stamped and colored a bunch of images from Silly Sloths, Tropical Scenes and Critter Campout stamp sets. 

Then, I ink blended the Out on a Limb die cuts as well :) I arranged all the images on the background using foam and finished it off by adding a sentiment from Silly Sloths and Chloe Alphabet dies.
