Penguin Party Cards with Tina and Vanessa

Hello crafty friends, it’s Tina and today we are having a fun Penguin Party on the blog!! How sweet are these cuties from this new stamp and die set!

I went with a traditional Christmas color scheme and selected a beautiful snowflake paper from the Joyful Holiday paper pad. I used a mini slimline die to create the base panel. Next, I die cut the Wonky Window Dies which are perfectly sized to fit the cute penguins. I also love that these dies come connected so no measuring for placement is needed!  

Crafters can be hoarders. I had a large roll of pink glitter washi tape in my stash forever and I finally decided to use it as the backdrop for my critters, along with three little snowbanks from white cardstock. Then I selected three adorable penguins from the Penguin Party set, colored them with Copic markers and added highlights with a white gel pen.

The sentiment comes from the same set. The bold ‘Merry’ was created by die cutting the pink glitter washi tape (added to a piece of cardstock) with the Chloe Alphabet dies. For dimension I added two layers of white letters underneath the glittery ones. But the pink glitter wasn’t vibrant enough to my liking, so I used a Copic marker to color the letters red instead. A few small branches and berries from the Winter Greenery dies were cut as extra embellishments.

To assemble the card, I added the pink glitter washi to the card base (after coloring the borders in the same red as the Merry sentiment), followed by the snowflake panel which I mounted with foam tape for dimension. After adhering the snowbanks, I included the penguins, gifts, greenery and finally the sentiment.

To make this card extra jolly, I adhered a little white pompom to each of the penguin’s hats. As a final embellishment I added a few of the Chrystal Clear Jewels scattered around the sentiment.

And so this sweet Christmas card is finished! Thank you for joining me on the blog and happy crafting!

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a colorful Penguin Party card + tag.

I first die-cut the stitched panel using the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies, masked off the five areas and inked them with Lucky Clover, Festive Berries, Kitsch Flamingo and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide inks. 

After I had removed the masks, I adhered the piece to my card base. 

For the tag, I created my layers with the Mini Mat & Tag 3 Dies, inked them and assembled them with baker's twine. Now I stamped the penguins, colored them with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered the pieces to the card and the tag with foam tape. Finally, I stamped the sentiment from Jolly Gingerbread and added wood veneer stars.

Cozy Christmas Cards with Waleska and Marine

Hello Friends! Waleska here. Happy new month! November is my favorite month, because is my birthday month. I also love the sweater weather and all the cozy things you do during this time. Today I have a cute and cozy card for you with the adorable Cozy Christmas Stamps. 

To create this card I first started creating the cozy living room with the Joyful Holiday paper for the walls and for the wood flooring I used kraft cardstock. I stamped and color the images from the Cozy Christmas set to create this adorable scene. 

I used copic markers in colors:
Green G14,G16,G17
Brown E13, E15, E17
Teal BG13, BG15, BG18
Pink RV10, RV11, RV13
Red R24, R27

I also created a snowy window and stamped the sentiment "Be comfy and cozy" on a white banner, this card is so cute I love those adorable bears on their pajamas!

Hello crafty friends, Marine here, super happy to be back this week with a cute and simple card showcasing the adorable Cozy Christmas stamp set. For this card, I did one of my favorite things, which is gathering images from different sets to create a darling scene. 

So besides the the ones I picked out from Cozy Christmas, I also chose:
- the fireplace, presents and stocking from Santa Claus Lane
- a character from Spring Showers
- the stuffed mice from Purrfect Birthday
- the cookie plate from North Pole

As always I stamped the images on white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I used the coordinating dies to cut them all and colored everything using my alcohol markers. For the armchair and lamps, I stamped the images a second time on a red pattern paper from the Joyful Holiday paper pack. And it's no secret that I like to use non-traditional colors on holiday cards, but for this one I decided to stick with red, green and brown to make a warm & sweet cozy scene.

Once the coloring was done, I fussy cut the armchair and lamps I stamped on pattern paper, and glued them on the blank images.

For the background, I cut a 5,5" x 4,25" inches Dots & Stripes Pastels panel, as well as a piece of woodgrain cardstock and a slim stripe to make the floor. I also stamped my "Merry Christmas" sentiment from Holiday Greetings on white cardstock using red ink, I cut it using the coordinating die, and then I assembled everything: I attached the woodgrain elements at the bottom of the panel using double sided tape, next the images and my greeting above the fireplace using foam squares.

Next I white heat embossed the second part of my greeting "May the season fill your home with joy" from Cozy Christmas on a slim black banner, and attached it at the bottom of the panel using foam squares again, and finally I added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen, as well as a dot of glossy accents on each little light in the tree and holly berries.

And that's it! I hope that you like this lovely cozy scene, I really love this bold Merry Christmas sentiment, and that chubby kitty on the chair is adorable! Snow One Like You Cards with Marie and Alma

Hello Crafty Friends, Marie here with you! Can you even believe that it's November?? Time is just flying by so super fast these days and before you know it, Christmas will be here! I have been slowly building up my Holiday card stash trying very hard to avoid the last minute stressful card making rush like years past. Among the cards I will be sending out this year is this sweet and festive Christmas Card featuring the oh so sweet Snow One Like You stamps! I also used the Autumn Greenery Dies to create a lush festive Christmas tree perfect for my vintage vibe scene.

I started off my card by stamping my Snow One Like You image onto watercolor paper using Antique Linen Distress Ink. I colored my image using Derwent Inktense Water Soluble Pencils. Using the Snow One Like You Dies I cut out my image. 

I then die cut a bunch of leaves using the 2 main rounded edged leaves from the Autumn Greenery Dies.  After cutting out all my leaves from bristol smooth cardstock, I inked them up using Distress Inks in the Colors "Mowed Lawn", "Rustic Wilderness", and "Uncharted Mariner."  My next step was to die cut my sturdy base panel from 110 lb Neenah Solar White heavyweight cardstock. I then use the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace Die to die cut my background from kraft paper. Then taking some watered down white acrylic paint, I splattered my kraft paper and my leaves for some fun snow-like texture.

After paint splattering, I adhered the scalloped kraft paper onto my white cardstock using double sided tape adhesive. I then adhered the leaves to create my Christmas tree using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue. I embellished my tree by adding some red Christmas bling using Sunny Studio's Red Zircon Jewels. I then added my cute image using some double sided foam strips for added dimension. To finish off my card, I added the sentiment from the Snowman Kisses Stamps which really worked so well with the adorable image and scene!

It's Alma here and today I want to show you a happy shaker card with the amazing Snow One Like You Stamps. I colored the stamps with Copics and die-cutted the image with the Snow One Like You Dies. Then I colored a night sky with the Copic Markers in a lot of shades of Violet and Blue. I used the colors BV66 BV63 and BV60 and RV95, RV93 and RV91. After that I added some snowflake dots with the white gel pen.

After that I cut a rectangle card and die-cutted a window with the Stitched Arch Dies and designed a snow landscape with the Slimline Nature Borders and tree from the Happy Camper Dies.

Finally I glued all together and added the Pure White Jewels to create a wonderful winter wonderland shaker card. Thank you so much for joining us today.

Joyful Holiday Paper Focused Cards with Kavya and Isha

Hi folks, Kavya here. I am back on the blog with another fun project. I love using the pattern paper from Sunny Studio Stamps whenever I want to add some more color to my cards. They are also perfect for matting! Lately, I have been using them as bases for my 3D cards. Today, I have another fun Christmas themed 3D card that I made using Lawn Fawn’s platform die.

I first started off by creating my base using Joyful Holiday Paper and some cardstock for the back. Ink blended the edges to make them more 3D. 

Then, I stamped and colored a bunch of images from Cozy Christmas. Adhered the images to the base and added a heat embossed sentiment to finish off the card!

Hello everyone! Isha here with a card using various patterns from the Joyful Holiday Paper pack. I love creating layers using patterns and this set has a GORGEOUS collection of patterns, which compliment each other so well.

I started by cutting some of the papers to create the background. Next I die-cut the grey snowflake paper using the Mini Mat and Tag 4 dies. Adhere to the card and flick white paint for a snow feel. Stamp the wreath from the Winter Wreath stamp and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Die-cut the Holly leaves and berries using the Winter Greenery dies, add colour using copic markers. Die-cut some snowflakes using the Lacy Snowflakes dies from silver shimmer paper. 

Stamp the sentiment from the Holiday Greetings stamp and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Assemble everything as per the card.
