Country Scenes Cards with Candice and Tammy

Hi my crafty friends! Candice with you today with a fun green monochromatic card using the fun new Country Scenes stamp set!

I used these Sunny Studio products for my card:

• Country Scenes stamps & coordinating dies
• Feeling Froggy stamps & coordinating dies
• Garden Fairy stamps & coordinating dies
• Botanical Backdrop die

For my background, I began by inking a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock with mowed lawn, twisted citron and shabby shutters and cut it out with the Botanical Backdrop die. I then trimmed another piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock to fit behind the frame and inked it lightly with shabby shutters.

Next, I stamped the pond, the mountains with pine trees, mushroom house, frog, butterflies and flies from the stamp sets listed above, colored them with green Copic markers (listed at the end of my post) and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. To put the card together, I glued the frog and lily pond to the pond and adhered this to back of the frame. I lined up the mountains and glued that to the inked panel and used foam tape to add the frame over this. I then used glue or foam tape to tuck the other images in giving the scene lots of dimension! I finished by stamping the sentiment with Versafine black ink!

Green Copic Markers used: YG17, YG25,YG05, YG03, YG01, YG00 & YG0000

Hi friends! Tammy with you today sharing these fun Mini Slimline cards, featuring the Country Scenes stamp set. Of course I had to add the adorable set, Balloon Rides to compliment these sweet little country scene cards!

To begin, I cut red and blue cardstock using the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies. To create the mini slimline size, I repositioned the slimline scallop die onto the die cut rectangles and ran it through my die cutting machine to give me a finished size of approximately 3 1/2 X 6 1/2". Next, using Bristol smooth cardstock, I cut the smaller rectangle the same way, repositioning the die and cutting again using the Slimline Die. I inked the backgrounds with Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks and matted onto white cardstock before attaching to the scalloped rectangles.

Next, I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut images from the following sets:
Country Scenes Stamps/ Coordinating Dies
Balloon Rides Stamps/ Coordinating Dies

I die cut the Country Scenes with the smaller rectangle from the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies to fit perfectly onto my background. Next, I attached the stamped images to my cards, using foam tape on some for dimension.

Lastly, I white heat embossed the sentiments onto a strip of black cardstock and attached my card fronts to a white 3 1/2 X 6 1/2" card base to complete my cards.

My Otter Half Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a comic style card using My Otter Half. This is the cutest set, don't you agree?

I first die-cut the little panels using Comic Strip Everyday Dies and inked them with Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks. Then I added a black edge with a marker and adhered the panels to the card base.

Stamps and dies used today:
My Otter Half stamps + dies (otters, sentiment)
Country Scenes stamps + dies (lotus flower)
Garden Fairy stamps + dies (bell flowers, butterflies)
Easter Wishes stamps + dies (bunny, tulips)
Comic Strip Everyday Dies (panels, grass)

Now I stamped the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copic markers, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered everything to the card, raising some pieces with foam tape. Finally, I stamped the sentiment and added details with a white gel pen.

Hi everyone, Anja here and today I'm back with another love-themed card featuring the cute My Otter Half Stamps. I love how they are holding paws!

First, I created a square card base measuring 5.5" x 5.5". I also trimmed a white cardstock panel to the same size and created a window by cutting out the largest of the Stitched Heart Dies.

For my little scene, I stamped the pond and the water lily from the Country Scenes set. I also used the slightly curved line from the Winter Scenes set to separate the grass from the sky background. I did some masking and ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks to create the water (Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire), grass (Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness) and purple sky (Spun Sugar, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord).

I colored the otters, water lily, cattails and pond border (all images were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink) with Copic Markers. The solid heart trio is included in the Meow & Furever set and I stamped it with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out.

I combined one of the Banner Basics with a punny sentiment and the 'otter' word die that comes with the coordinating My Otter Half Dies. I die cut it from purple glitter cardstock. Finally, I assembled the scene using liquid glue and adhered the heart window panel as well as the sentiment banner with foam tape.

Slimline Pennant Die Focused Cards and Video Tutorial with Julia and Franci

Hello crafty friends! I hope your week is going well! It’s Julia here - this time with a cute fairytale themed bookmark! I created this magical little scene using the Slimline Pennant dies and I paired it with the adorable Enchanted and Garden Fairy stamp sets! I really just can't get enough of those sweet fairies!!

I die cut the fluffy clouds using the Slimline Nature Borders and for the backing of the stitched panel I cut down a piece of pink cardstock and die cut the bottom edge with the Fishtail Banner II dies to add the beautiful scalloped detail. I really wanted to add a sentiment that would fit well with a bookmark, so I masked off the first two letters of the word "spreading" from the North Pole stamp set to spell "reading" and for the rest I used the Garden Fairy set!

Hi there! It's Franci here with you today, with a fun and colorful interactive card to share! I'm in love! This llama is one of my favorite new critter and I love all the banner/ pennant details here, plus this is an interactive card, YAY!!

So first of all I created a standard size card base out of white cardstock, then I cut a matching panel out of some patterned paper from the Surprise Party 6x6 paper set and I die cut it with the Sliding Window dies set. I also cut out a thin stripe out of the same patterned paper that measures 1/2 x 3 inches.

Then I cut out a 3 x 4 inches panel out of some light blue cardstock and the smallest pennant from the Slimline Pennant Dies set out of white cardstock. I stamped, colored and die cut all my images from these sets: Lovable Llama + coordinated dies and Balloon Rides set + coordinated dies. I assembled my interactive mechanism and mounted everything onto my card base and then I decorated the little light blue panel by adhering down the stitched pennant in the middle and all my images on top with foam adhesive.

Finally I added some clear sequins and I just put a gift card in there to share that it fits perfectly! You can also add a sentiment, some more images. I left it blank for now because I kind of like the idea I can customize it last minute. And also it's a design that can work for lot of occasions. A birthday card, a Congratulations card, even a baby card!
