Tiny Dancers Watercolored Background Card with Nancy

Hey there Sunny fans, Nancy here today with a look at the new Tiny Dancer stamp set. I love this troupe of dainty dancers. There are so many beautiful cards you could make with this set! Let's start out with an everyday card with a watercolored background.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Tiny Dancers Watercolored Background Card by Nancy Damiano

To create this card, start with a simple watercolored background that your tiny dancers can shine on! I chose the colors based on the patterned paper placed at the bottom edge of the card. All of the tiny dancers were colored with the same palette in mind with Distress inks, and die cut with the coordinating dies. A scattering of tiny stamped daisies gives the card some movement and a dose of dainty.

The sentiments included in the Tiny Dancer allow you to create birthday, dance recital and encouragement cards. It's equally beautiful and versatile - my favorite kind of stamp set.

Cascading Hearts Froggy Valentine Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here today using the new Cascading Hearts stamp set along with Froggy Friends, Sunny Sentiments, Comfy Creatures and the Stitched Scallop Dies to create a Valentine's Day card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Cascading Hearts Froggy Valentine Card by Eloise Blue

To begin, I used some Coral Berry ink from Altenew to stamp the Cascading Hearts stamp onto a piece of watercolour cardstock twice. This stamp is super easy to line up next to each other and combines nicely. Once I stamped it twice, I went ahead and cut a piece of masking tape into a hill shape, adhered down the positive piece at the bottom of the cardstock and blended some Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Ink onto the background, going super light at the bottom as it reaches the hill.

Next, I removed the mask, replaced it with the negative piece and blended some Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio ink onto the bottom half. Once all my ink blending was done, I used the Froggy Friends stamp set and stamped the water ripple stamp into the blue ink blended piece with some Volcano Lake ink from Altenew. Next, I stamped out all my images from Froggy Friends and Sunny Sentiments, adding in little hearts to the tummies of the frogs and eyelashes to the female frogs also and coloured them in with Copic Markers. Once they were coloured, I cut them out with their coordinating dies.

Next up, I added foam tape and adhesive to all my images and adhered them down in the water ripple. Then, I used the Comfy Creatures stamp set to stamp 'Happy' into the centre of the cloud, then used the 'Valentine's Day' sentiment from Froggy Friends underneath Happy to complete my sentiment. Then I popped it up on foam tape and adhered it above my scene cluster. Lastly, I adhered my entire panel onto a card base, then used the Stitched Scallop Dies and cut out two borders using white cardstock and adhered them on the top and bottom of my card to frame it off.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I'll catch you next time.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Purrfect Birthday Cards with Kay Miller

Hi there, it's Kay Miller here. I am thrilled to be guesting again with Sunny Studio Stamps! I just adore all of Mendi's cute and whimsical designs! Today I have a couple of cards using the adorable Purrfect Birthday stamp set and coordinating dies from the January Release.

I think those kitties are the cutest! The little one on the left is my favorite in the whole set! So for my background, I blended three colors of Distress inks, Broken China, Picked Raspberry, and Wilted Violet. I spritz it with water and then speckled some of the same ink on that. I then cut that piece out with a domed shaped die and adhered it to my white card base. I made a small white border at the bottom with white card stock and stamped the sentiment on that.

I colored the cute images with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I added them with foam tape and then added a few clear sequins.

For my next card, I created my background by blending Picked Raspberry Distress ink onto card stock, then spritzing with water. I colored all of the little kitties to look like orange tabby cats, then used my MISTI stamping tool to position my sentiment in just the right place.

I had to add that cute little mouse too! I hope you have enjoyed my cards today! Have a wonderful weekend!

Instead of make a standard fold A2 card, I create one with a little twist. I stamp the trophy with Versafine black ink and watercolor it with Distress Markers by mixing yellow and orange to make it looks like a gold trophy. This card is for my #1 man from his #1 fan. :)

I choose red, navy and black for today's card. I love the result. I blended Candied Apple Distress inks on the right side and stamp some balls tone on tone with red dye ink. Then I splatter some water to add the cool effect.

Breakfast Puns Watercolor Background Love Themed Card with Vanessa

Hello! Vanessa here today with a yummy card using the adorable Breakfast Puns stamp set. I can't help but smile when looking at the cute faces of the food images and that they even come with legs and arms is hilarious :)

Sunny Studio Stamps: Breakfast Puns Watercolor Background Love Themed Card by Vanessa Menhorn

For my card, I started with a panel of watercolor paper and applied stripes of watercolor to create the background. After I had adhered the dried panel to the card, I stamped the donuts onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics and fussy-cut them.

I stamped the legs onto the card and adhered the donuts. Now I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered it. Finally, I added enamel hearts to my card.

Mmh, I'd love to have a donut right now! Thank you so much for visiting today! See you next week!
