Designers Choice Cards with Kavya and Isha

Hi folks, Kavya here with another fun card that uses a bunch of products that you might already have in your stash. I love it when I find sets that can be combined to create cards for any occasion! This card is winter themed card but can be used all year long :)

I first started off by stamping and coloring a bunch of images from different sets:

• Snail Mail - Post Box, envelopes and a bunch of hearts
• Scenic Route - Winter trees landscape
• Heart Bouquet
• Winter Scenes - Igloo
• Passionate Penguins - Two penguins
• Christmas Critters - Gift Box

Later, I created my background by ink blending Blueprint sketch, Milled Lavender, Shaded Lilac and Tattered Rose distress oxide inks. I added some faux snow by splattering some white paint. Finally, adhere all the stamped images and finish it off by adding a sentiment from Snail Mail.

Hello everyone. Isha today with a layered spring theme card. I love flowers and watercolor.

I took a white cardbase. Die-cut the frame using the Frilly Frames Lattice from white cardstock. Adhere to the card using 3d foam. Cut a piece from the Flirty Flower pattern paper and adhere to the frame. die-cut the oval and the frilly oval using Stitched Oval 2 dies and Scalloped Oval Mat 3 dies. Adhere to the card. 

Die-cut the word HUGS, dab embossing ink and sprinkle WOW! metallic gold rich powder. Heat set.

Die-cut some leaves using the Spring Greenery dies from white cardstock and vellum. Stamp the 3rd layer of the flowers from the Cherry Blossoms stamp using clear embossing ink. Emboss with WOW! white powder, heat set. Colour using watercolors. Die-cut using the coordinating dies. Assemble the card, flick gold watercolor.
