Gift Card Pocket Die Focused Cards with Ashley and Mayra

Hi friends! It's Ashley with a fun sliding window card that also incorporates the Gift Card Pocket die! By combining the Sliding Window and Gift Card Pocket dies, you can make the gift card pop up when the slider is pulled! I had a Starbucks gift card on hand, so I decided to use that as my inspiration for the rest of the card.

I started by blending several Pinkfresh Studio green inks onto white cardstock to create an ombre effect. I splattered some white and black watercolor onto it, then die cut it with the largest Stitched Rectangle die before using it for my slider. I created my slider piece with the Sliding Window die and my ink blended piece, white cardstock, and a piece of mug patterned paper from the Holiday Cheer paper pack. I followed these instructions, making a few modifications as necessary to fit the size of the stitched rectangle I cut out. Make sure to use strong adhesive - I like Scor Tape! Once my slider was assembled, I added it to a piece of striped paper from the Subtle Grey Tones pack to make my base.

I stamped the coffee images from Mug Hugs and added a few smiley faces to them with the Looking Sharp set. After coloring with Copics, I fussy cut the images but you could also use the matching dies. I die cut the Gift Card Pocket from dark green cardstock and added it right to the edge of the slider where it folds up. I arranged my coffee images on top the pocket, then tied a bit of sparkly green twine to the pull tab. I finished by stamping an image from Breakfast Puns on the inside in dark green ink, making sure to save room to write a personalized message later.

Hello everyone, happy Monday. Mayra here with you today sharing this sweet treat bag with a gift cardholder. I used the super fun Gift Card Pocket die.

I began by die-cutting the layers to create the cupcake and bag using the Cupcake Shape dies set, and the Sweet Treats Bag die. I also die-cut a couple of extra sprinkle pieces from the Cupcake Shape die set to use for the mini shaker tag. To create the mini shaker tag, I used the smaller of the tags from the Scalloped Tag Square dies set. I then die-cut a smaller square into the center area to create the shaker window. I also used some of the Small White Crystals to the shaker tag.  

Next, I added the pocket die to the front of the cupcake shape. The sentiment is from the Candy Shoppe stamp set. The banner is from the Stitched Rectangles die set.

Gift Card Pocket Die Focused Cards with Isha and Kavya

Hello everyone! Isha here featuring the Gift Card Pocket dies today. I really had fun with these dies and the font works perfectly with our previously released Loopy Letters. I decided to create a Tea Bag Holder using the pocket die from the Gift Card Pocket dies.

Start by creating a 4.25" square card base using white cardstock. I then cut a mat layer from the Classic Sunburst paper pad. Die-cut the biggest of the Scalloped Circle Mat 3 dies using white cardstock. Sponge peacock feathers distress ink, flick water. Adhere to the card. Stamp the word "SWEET" and the candies from the Candy Shoppe stamp set, color and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Add glossy accents to the candies and let dry. Die-cut the word "For You" from the Gift Card Pocket die. Assemble everything together.

Tea Bag Holder / Measurements:
Cardstock for the cover (white) - 11 x 3.25". Score @ 3.5, 4.75, 8.25, 9.5 inches
Cardstock strip for the inner pocket base (white) - 4 x 3". Score @ .5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 inches
Cardstock for pocket base (white) - 3 x 3.25"

Score and fold the outside cover. Adhere pattern paper to the upper flap. Cut a white piece for the lower flap, sponge peacock feathers distress ink, flick water. Die-cut the letters from the Loopy Letters Lower dies to create the word "Tea Time". Adhere to the flap.

Die-cut a white flower from the Window Quad Circle dies. Add pink color towards the center. Apply spectrum noir clear sparkle pen. Fix this flower using a brad to the lower panel in a way so the flower partially covers the upper flap.

For the inside strip fold the scored stripe and adhere using scor-tape as per the diagram OR you can watch the video HERE. Adhere the white flaps. Die-cut five gift card pockets using various colors from the Classic Sunburst paper pad. Score and adhere to the inside white flaps. Add tea bags of the recipient's choice. I folded the edges of the bags which were a bit more in width.

Hi folks, Kavya here. I am back with another card that I had so much fun putting together! This card was inspired by some amazing tacos (if you are in WA, you should check out Tacos Chukis! And guess what it’s Taco Tuesday today!) I had last weekend plus the need to use all my extra stamped images that just seems to be growing! I love packing all my cards (what is CAS? Haven’t heard of it!) so I usually stamp a bunch of images! I got all of them out this weekend and I was determined to use at least 50% of them!

I decided to use make a fun Taco Truck themed card that can hold a gift card for a fun treat! I first started off by stamping and coloring images from Cruisin’ Cuisine (food truck), Balloon Ride (banners, cloud and sun), Looking Sharp (cacti), Fast Food Fun (tacos) and Tiki Time (drinks!). I created my background by using yellow cardstock and brown cardstock - both ink blended with matching colors and splattered ink to add some dimension! 

I then placed the Gift Card Pocket behind the brown land and also placed the food truck on top of it so that it covers the gift card holder. For the sentiment, I used Chloe’s Alphabet and heat embossed ‘BOUT and A from Fast Food Fun and TREAT from Crusin’ Cuisine! I just love it when I can create new sentiments from using multiple stamp sets.

Stitched Rectangle Die Focused Cards with Mayra and Ashley

Happy Monday everyone! Mayra here with you today, yay!! I am sharing this fun summer-themed card using the awesome Stitched Rectangle dies.

I began by coloring the images from the Beach Buddies, Tiki Time, Outback Critters, and the Balloon Rides stamp sets that I would use for my card. I used Copic markers. For the yellow areas, I used Y11, Y08, Y19, and YR24. For the pink, I used RV52, RV21, RV23, and RV06. For the teal, I used BG11, BG10, BG13, and BG49.

Next, I die cut the base panel, and an extra-base panel using the largest of the stitched rectangle in the set. Then I created a frame using the largest die and the next size down. The patterned paper is from the Dots & Stripes Pastels set.

For the sand area, I used the Slimline Nature Borders die set, and for the waves, I used the Catch A Wave dies. The speech bubble is from the Comic Strip Speech Bubbles die set.  I added color to the base panel using Distress Oxide inks, I used Squeezed Lemonade, Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed, Kitsch Flamingo, and Picked Raspberry. For the waves, I used the color Salvaged Patina Distress ink.

Hi friends! It's Ashley with a pretty card featuring the Stitched Rectangles die set! I had so much fun pulling out an old set for my card last week that I decided to pull out another old favorite to combine with the new dies this week! The final result was this monochromatic Pink Peonies card - or should I say Teal Peonies?

I started by using the three Stitched Rectangles on two colors of teal cardstock (one medium, one light) and one piece of polka dot teal paper from Dots and Stripes Pastels. I layered my die cuts onto a dark teal card base for a blocked ombre look in the background.

I stamped all the images from Pink Peonies in Pinkfresh Studio Detail Black ink onto Bristol smooth cardstock so I could color them with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I added a few details with a white gel pen, then cut everything out with the matching dies before layering them onto the card. I die cut the "for you" from the Gift Card Pocket die set three times out of the same dark teal cardstock I used for my base. I glued them all together for a dimensional sentiment and added it to the card. To finish, I added a scattering of Aquamarine jewels.
