Tropical Trees Backdrop Die Focused Cards with Vanessa and Audrey

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a summer card combining the Tropical Trees Backdrop dies with various sets.

I trimmed a panel of white cardstock slightly smaller than the card base. Now I used the Swimming Pool Die to trim off the edge of the water. I inked the bottom part with Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide ink to create the beach, masking off the sky with masking paper I cut with the Slimline Nature Borders Dies and inked the top part with Tumbled Glass ink. Now I inked a smaller panel with the blue ink, too and adhered it behind the beach panel and onto the card. I stamped the images and die-cut the palm tree, colored everything with Copic markers, die-cut the images with the matching dies and adhered all elements to the card. 

Again, I used a variety of sets:
Beach Babies stamps + dies
Sealiously Sweet stamps + dies
Passionate Penguins stamps + dies
Tiki Time stamps
Chloe Alphabet Dies
Tropical Trees Backdrop
Swimming Pool Dies

Now I die-cut the letters, inked them with the same ink I used for the water, matted them with black letters to create a shadow and adhered them. After I had die-cut and added the clouds, I finally stamped the rest of the sentiment.

Hello friends! Audrey here with a tropical nighttime scene to share with you!

I started off by inking a piece of white cardstock cut to 4.25" x 5.5" with Distress inks in Villainous Potion, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Carved Pumpkin, then I splattered with some clean water and some metallic watercolor to add some extra interest. I die cut the Tropical Trees Backdrop and a trio of palm trees and clouds from black cardstock and glued everything down with a glue pen. I added a tiny car from the Comic Strip Everyday die set, which coordinates perfectly with a sentiment from the Country Carnival stamp set. 

To finish off the night sky, I added a scattering of white starts die cut using the Basic Mini Shape Dies II die set and then added some white gel pen accents to the clouds. This simple card packs a punch with the high contrast of the bright sunset sky and the dark die cuts.

Country Carnival Cards with Audrey and Vanessa

Hello friends! Audrey here with a Country Carnival card to share with you! This card is a bit different for me as I normally love bright colors and lots of white space on my cards, but I decided to make a night scene card with this stamp set. 

I started off with a piece of dark blue cardstock cut to 4" x 5.25". I used a cloud stencil from my stash and some Black Soot Distress Oxide to add some night clouds to the top 2/3 of the panel. I masked off the bottom and inked along the mask to create the ground. Then, I splattered on some gold metallic watercolor and watered down white acrylic paint to add stars to the sky. I stamped and colored the ferris wheel, some of the little bears and the ticket booth from the Country Carnival stamp set, and die cut them with the coordinating Country Carnival dies. The white background of the stamped images was too much contrast for me, so I used a dark blue Copic marker to trace around the edges of the images. 

I arranged my scene, and adhered it to the panel. I didn't want sentiment to stand out too much, so I used white pigment ink on the dark cardstock for a more muted sentiment. Then, I used the Basic Mini Shapes Dies II to add some white stars to the sky. Finally, I mounted the panel to a dark blue card base.

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a baby card using the sweet Country Carnival set.

I started with a white card base and inked the background with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink. After I had added ink droplets, I die-cut the scalloped tag from white cardstock and stamped the carousel. Now I stamped the image again onto a scrap of cardstock, colored both images with Copics, fussy-cut parts of the second image and adhered these to the tag with foam tape for more dimension. 

Today I used these sets:
Country Carnival stamps + dies
Chloe Alphabet Dies
Scalloped Tag Square Dies

I tied-on ribbon and twine and adhered the tag to the card. Now I die-cut the letters, colored them with Copics, added details with a white gel pen and spelled BABY. Finally, I added heart sequins to finish the card off.

Designer's Choice Cards with Vanessa and Audrey

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a fun card using the cute Country Carnival set.

I die-cut the Comic Strip Speech Bubble Dies from black and white cardstock, inked the white rectangles with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink, added ink droplets and adhered the black frame and the inked pieces to the card. Now I stamped the images, colored everything with Copic markers, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered the scene to the card.

This set is the cutest, I'd love to join the little bears! Although the tiny images made me realize how much I need glasses :)

Hello friends! Audrey here with a baby card to share with you today!  I used my favorite image from the adorable Baby Elephants for this project.  

To create my card, I started off by watercoloring a piece of watercolor paper cut to 4" by 5.25".  I used Distress inks in Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot and Dusty Concord. Then I splattered on some gold watercolor and watered down white acrylic paint to add starts to my sky. I stamped and colored the little elephant sleeping on the moon, and die cut him with the coordinating Baby Elephants dies. The clouds are stamped from this set, and a few other Sunny Studio sets for various sizes. 

I arranged my scene and popped everything with foam tape. Before adhering anything down, I added a strip of blue striped paper from the Dots & Stripes Jewel Tones paper pad.  A sentiment from the set was stamped onto a white banner and tucked under the clouds. Then, I die cut some starts from gold glitter paper using the Basic Mini Shapes II dies. The panel was popped up on an A2 card base, and I added some white gel pen accents to finish off my card.

Critters On The Go Cards with Vanessa and Audrey

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a slimline card using the fun set Critters on the Go.

I trimmed a panel of white cardstock slightly smaller than the card base and masked off the bottom. Now I applied Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink and stamped the houses from Charming City. After I had removed the mask, I adhered the panel to the card. Then I stamped the images, colored them with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered the pieces with foam tape. 

I die-cut the Happy Word from black cardstock and added it to the card. Finally, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment from Happy Thoughts onto a strip of black cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it with foam tape.

Hello Friends! Audrey here with some Critters on the Go!  

To create my card, I started off with a piece of white cardstock cut to 4" x 5.25". I masked off the bottom 1/3 of the panel and used a cloud stencil from my stash along with some Broken China Distress ink to add some clouds to my sky. Then, I reversed the mask and used some Mowed Lawn Distress ink to add some grass to the panel. I stamped and colored the little dog and one of the scooters from Critters on the Go and diecut them with the coordinating Critters on the Go dies. 

I knew I wanted to make this a birthday card, so I pulled out the Heart Bouquet stamp set and colored the balloons in a bunch of bright colors, then diecut them with the Heart Bouquet dies. I stamped a sentiment from Critters on the go onto a white banner die cut, and popped that up under the little scene. To finish off the card, I added some white gel pen accents and a scattering of yellow stars die cut using the Basic Mini Shapes II dies. Finally, I mounted the panel on a piece of fun striped paper from the Rainbow Bright 6x6 paper pad.

Passionate Penguin Cards with Vanessa and Audrey

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a fun card using the most adorable set Passionate Penguins.

I started with a white panel of cardstock and stamped the images, always masking the previously stamped image with masking paper before stamping the next. Now I inked the background with Distress Oxide Inks, using the following colors from bottom to top: Pumice Stone, Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries. After I had stamped the Eifel Tower, using the Paris Afternoon set, I added tiny water droplets and took them off with a tissue to create little dots.

I removed my masks and colored the penguins with Copic markers. Finally, I stamped the "bonjour" and the little heart and adhered the panel to the grey card base.

Hello friends! Audrey here with some adorable penguins! 

To create my card, I started off with a piece of white cardstock cut to 4" x 5.25". I masked off the bottom 2/3 of the panel and then added another heart shaped mask in the bottom right corner which I cut using the Stitched Hearts 2 dies. I used distress oxide inks in the shades Salvaged Patina, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot to create a night sky, when splattered on some clean clear water to bleach out some areas for added interest. 

I stamped and colored the penguin couple under the umbrella from the Passionate Penguins stamp set and die cut them with the coordinating Passionate Penguins dies. I popped them up using foam tape in the heart shaped highlighted area. 

For the sentiment, I used the Lovey Dovey stamp set, and die cut with the coordinating Lovey Dovey dies. I popped that up in the sky, almost to mimic the moon. Then, I added some tiny clouds, using the Comic Strip Everyday dies, and a scattering of silver glitter stars using the Basic Mini Shapes II and Basic Mini Shapes 3 dies. 

Finally, I added a few white gel pen accents and popped the panel up on an A2 card base, to which I added a strip of striped paper from the Rainbow Bright 6x6 paper pad.
