Christmas Garland Frame Cards with Candice and Rachel

Candice with you today, sharing a different use for the new Christmas Garland Frame die as coral!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Christmas Garland Frame Dies Merry Mice Scenic Route Best Fishes Christmas Card by Candice Fisher

The Sunny Studio products I used for my card:
For the background, I first heat embossed the bubbles in white and then inked over with tumbled glass oxide ink. I then die cut the Christmas Garland Frame from navy glitter paper, using a shim to get a deep cut through the thickness of the cardstock. I love how it looks like coral for this card!

Next, I stamped the fishes and winter accessories, colored with Copic markers and then used the coordinating dies listed above to cut out. The christmas lights I stamped and cut out with the coordinating dies, colored with Copics and added yellow Stickles for some shimmer.

To finish the card, I heat embossed the sentiment in white from both the Merry Mice and Best Fishes stamp sets on a red banner. For the embellishments, I simply added a few navy domes from the Rainbow Pearls.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello everyone! It's Rachel here and I have a festive winter card that features the gorgeous Christmas Garland Frame Die. I've combined this die with the Jolly Gingerbread Stamp Set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Christmas Garland Frame Dies Jolly Gingerbread Christmas Card by Rachel Alvarado

To create my frame, I first started with a piece of Ranger White Watercolor Paper that I had trimmed to slightly larger than 4.25" x 5.5". I then quickly watercolored this piece with both Daniel Smith Viridian Watercolor Paint and Ken Oliver Turquoise Colorburst Watercolor Powder. I then let this piece dry before I die cut it. Once I had it cut out, I then splattered it with both dark green diluted watercolor paint as well as diluted Opaque White Paint. I added some of this diluted white paint to the ends of each piece to resemble fallen snow.

Next I trimmed a piece of smooth white card stock to 4.25" x 5.5" and lightly blended some Catherine Pooler Hot Tub Ink. I splattered this blended area with both some water drops as well as some more diluted white paint. I added some stitched snow drifts using the Woodland Border Dies.

For my images, I stamped them onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored everything with Copics. I cut them out and then added them to my card with both liquid adhesive and 3D Foam Tape depending on which ones I wanted to add more dimension to. I used a fun sentiment from the Jolly Gingerbread Set and added it to the left side of my front snow drift before adding it to my card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Feeling Frosty Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a card using the adorable Feeling Frosty set. I used almost every snowman from the set to create this gathering of frosty friends.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Feeling Frosty Christmas Home Winter Themed Card by Vanessa Menhorn

First, I inked the front of a white card base with Distress Oxide Inks. Now I hand-cut snow hills from white cardstock, inked the edges with blue ink and adhered them. I stamped all the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copic markers, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered them to the card, raising some with foam tape.

After I had added "snow" with a white gel pen, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock with white embossing powder, trimmed it and adhered it.

I love these snowmen so much, they are the coolest gang :) Thank you for stopping by today!

-------------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone, Anja here to share a card made with the Feeling Frosty set which is one of my favorites. I already used it a couple of times and wanted to come up with something different. So I tried my hand on no-line coloring which I find quite intimidating to be honest.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Feeling Frosty Fancy Frame Dies Scenic Route Winter Themed Card by Anja Bytyqi

With the help of some masking, I created a one layer scene. I combined the Feeling Frosty snowmen and cups with the hillside border from the Scenic Route set. For a very light stamped color, I used the Inkon3 Fadeout No Line Coloring Detail Ink. I colored the images with Copic Markers and Prismacolor Pencils.

The sky was done by blending Distress Oxide Inks (Milled Lavender and Spun Sugar) and splattering white paint with a brush. I cut one of the Fancy Frames Square Dies from white cardstock to frame my little winter scene.

I think the sentiment is the perfect match for these snowman friends who share a cup of hot cocoa together. It's stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder. I die cut a stitched banner and adhered it with foam tape. To finish off my card, I added White Clay Snowflakes and a Pink Clay Heart.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a beautiful day!

Season's Greetings Cards with Franci and Ana

Hello there! Franci here with you today with a couple of tiny Christmas tags showcasing the Season's Greetings set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Season's Greetings Scalloped Tag Dies Winter Holiday Tags by Franci Vignoli

First of all I die-cut multiple times the little Scalloped Tags Circle dies out of some white cardstock and this pretty dotted patterned paper from the Subtle Grey Tones Paper pad.  Then I also die-cut 2 little tags using a mini die included in the Sweet Treat Bag die set and stamped them with the "to: & love:" from the Season's Greetings set.

Then I stamped and die cut some pine branches and berries and I glued them down to my patterned paper tags with foam adhesive. I used these Memento drops inks to stamp and shade them: Pearl Tart, Bamboo Leaves, Lady Bug and Rich Cocoa.

I glued the white tags on the back of my decorated ones added the little tags at the tops and added some sparkle red twine. Finally I added lots of sparkle to the berries with my Wink of Stella clear brush.

These tags are so super easy to make you could easily create a ton if you need a lots for the Holidays! Hope you like them and thanks a lot for stopping by!

Hello everyone! Ana here today with a pink Christmas card featuring Season’s Greeting stamp set and Snowflake Circle Frame die.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Season's Greetings Circle Snowflake Frame Dies Frilly Frame Dies Winter Holiday Card by Ana Anderson

I started with creating the background by die cutting a piece of Bristol paper with Frilly Frames Lattice outline die. I masked the scallops and blended Worn Lipstick distress oxide ink on the panel. Once the panel was dry I white heat embossed the part of my sentiment - seasons. While I had the embossing powder and sticky ink still out, I embossed the word greetings to a piece of vellum and fussy cut it out.

Out of white cardstock, I die cut several pieces of circles with Snowflake Circle frame die, arranging them to the background and adhering with liquid glue. Next, I adhered the vellum sentiment piece to the background with thin strips of foam tape.

I stamped and die cut the branches and berries (from Season’s Greetings set), adhered them to the background then added white splatter which I created by mixing white acrylic paint and water. I added a pink panel to the back of my background separating them with craft foam and adhered them to the card base.

Thank you so much or stopping by today – I really hope you got inspired! Until next week – Happy Crafting!

Santa Claus Lane Cards with Juliana and Angelica

Hello Sunny Studio Friends! It's Juliana here to share a festive Christmas shaker card featuring the Santa Claus Lane Stamp Set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Santa Claus Lane Layered Snowflake Frame Dies Fancy Frames Dies Merry Christmas Card by Juliana Michaels

I began by stamping and coloring some of the images from the Santa Claus Lane Stamp Set with Copic Markers. I then die cut them with the Santa Claus Lane Dies.

Next, I took the Layered Snowflake Frame Dies and die cut the large snowflake frame from white cardstock and trimmed it into a square. I then die cut the small snowflake frame from white cardstock and trimmed it the same size as the larger frame.

To create the shaker box, I adhered a piece of transparency film/acetate to the back side of the large frame. I then added thin strips of double sided foam tape to create the frame that will hold the sequins and beads.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Santa Claus Lane Layered Snowflake Frame Dies Fancy Frames Dies Merry Christmas Card by Juliana Michaels

For the backing of the shaker box, I cut a piece of white cardstock to just slightly larger than the frame and inked it with Distress Oxide in Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire. I then lightly spritzed it with some water to activate the ink and dabbed it dry revealing “snowflakes”.  Next, I adhered the small white snowflake frame to the center of this piece to finish off the backing. I then adhered Santa in his sleigh with the toys! To fill the shaker I used a mix of seed beads, sequins and Blue Snowflake Confetti. I usually carefully pour these on top of the image just to get a feel for how much to add.

I then carefully lined up the top of the shaker with the backing and adhered the layers together to complete the shaker card. To finish it all off, I added the sentiment, heat embossed with white embossing powder, onto a red die cut pennant from the Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed learning how to create a festive Christmas shaker card featuring the Santa Claus Lane Stamp Set.

Hi friends! Angelica here, I have a new Christmas card to share with you today, featuring the Santa Claus Lane stamp set

Sunny Studio Stamps: Santa Claus Lane Frilly Frame Dies Happy Word Die Christmas Card by Angelica Conrad

I stamped and Copic-colored images from the stamp set, then die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I die-cut white card stock with Happy word die three times, stacking and gluing the words together for height. For the background, I blended Blueberry and Blue Corn inks onto a panel of white card stock. I let the ink dry, then white heat-embossed the sentiment words at an angle.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Santa Claus Lane Frilly Frame Dies Happy Word Die Christmas Card by Angelica Conrad

I splattered shimmer water and watered-down white acrylic paint onto the panel for snow, then trimmed the panel with the Frilly Frames Retro Petals stitched rectangle. I attached the panel to a card base with foam adhesive, and added the chimney, Santa’s sleigh, and die cut word. I finished the card by applying shimmer and shine to the word, using a shimmer brush and Crystal glaze.

I hope I have helped with ideas for the fun Santa Clause Lane Lane stamp set. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Layered Poinsettia Cards with Eloise and Leanne

Hi friends, Eloise here and today I’m using the Layered Poinsettia’s Die Set to create some Christmas Tags. I used the Scalloped Tag Circle Dies for the base and also used the Woodgrain Embossing Folder for some added texture and the Merry Mice Stamp Set for the sentiment.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Layered Poinsettia Dies Scalloped Tag Circle Dies Merry Christmas Tags by Eloise Blue

I started off with die cutting out all my layers of the poinsettia die from different shades of cardstock. I then layered them together and adhered them. While I was die cutting, I also cut out three Scalloped Circle Tags from white cardstock and also grey cardstock and then ran the white ones through with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Layered Poinsettia Dies Scalloped Tag Circle Dies Merry Christmas Tags by Eloise Blue

Next I cut down the grey pieces a little to create a diagonal look, added foam tape onto the bottom and adhered them onto my white tags at the bottom. I then adhered the poinsettia’s with foam tape too. For the sentiment I used the Merry Mice Stamp Set, curved the ‘Merry Christmas’ in my MISTI and stamped it with black ink onto the bases of the tags. Lastly, I tied two types of twine through the tops of each of the tags.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed these tags and I’ll see you next week.

--------------------------------------------------

Hi crafty friends, Leanne here! I have another card to share that features the Layered Poinsettia. If you recall, my card from last week combined the poinsettia and buffalo plaid. I really loved that look so I have used that combination again for this week. I've used a very traditional color palette with some glittery accents for a more elegant design.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Layered Poinsettia Dies Christmas Trimmings Merry Christmas Card by Leanne West

I started with an A2 sized card base. I cut a panel of white card stock about a quarter inch smaller than A2 dimensions. I added some black paint splatters then layered it on top of some black glitter card stock with foam tape. I created a red and black plaid strip using a stamp from the Background Basics set. I adhered this strip towards the left side. I stamped out some pine boughs from the Christmas Trimmings set. I created the Layered Poinsettia using dark green card stock for the bottom layer and white for all the petals. I used a light green ink pad with a sponge dubber to add shading to the larger petal edges and completely color the tiny petals.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Layered Poinsettia Dies Christmas Trimmings Merry Christmas Card by Leanne West

Before adhering the pine boughs and poinsettia, I heat embossed the greeting in silver. The Merry Christmas greeting also comes from the Christmas Trimming set. To finish off the card, I frosted the poinsettia petals with Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops and scattered a few dots of Nuvo Sliver Crystals Glitter Drops.
