Cruising Critters Cards with Anja and Vanessa

Hi everyone, Anja here with a new card using the Cruising Critters Stamps. Aren't these critters piled up in their retro cabriolet just the cutest?!

I combined this fun image with the pennant banner and little exhaust clouds from the Plane Awesome set. I also added two birdies from the Seasonal Trees Stamps. All images were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Next, I picked the gorgeous leafy patterned paper from the Colorful Autumn 6x6 Paper pack and adhered it to the card base which measures 4.25"x6". For the road, I repeatedly stamped the dashed line in VersaMark Ink onto a strip of grey cardstock and white heat embossed it. I kept the design simple and finally adhered the images with foam tape.

Hi everybody! Vanessa here with a cute card using the adorable Cruising Critters. I wanted to give this stamp a different look, simply by focusing on the passengers of the car:

I masked off a square on a panel of white cardstock and stamped the image. Then I masked the image and applied Distress Oxide Inks. I punched circles from a scrap of paper and used this as a stencil to apply white pigment ink. After everything was dried, I removed the masks and colored the critters with Copics.

Now I covered the front of my card with patterned paper from the Heroic Halftones Paper and adhered the stamped panel. I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiments, using the Devoted Doggies set, onto two strips of matching cardstock, trimmed them and adhered them with foam tape. Finally, I added tiny sequins to the inked part of the card.

Super Duper Cards with Ana and Franci

Hello friends! It’s Ana here today sharing two adorable gift boxes featuring Super Duper stamps and dies.

To start, I created two boxes using Wrap Around Box Dies and blue and pink cardstock. I stamped, colored and die cut the images from Super Duper stamp set next. I stamped the sentiments (from the stamp set) in matching colors of each project and used Comic Strip Speech Bubbles dies as well as Super Duper dies, to cut them out.

For the boy’s box I die cut city border twice, using Cityscape Border Dies. For the yellow mat behind the border I used cut file template (you can find it at the bottom of the description under Cityscape Border Dies).

I adhered the city border to the blue box, wrapping it around the entire box. 

I added little superheroes and sentiments with thin foam tape and embellished with Primary Star Confetti and stars I die cut with dies from Comic Strip Speech Bubbles dies. For the pink box, I die cut the clouds out of glitter paper and pink patterned paper from Surprise Party Paper pack and layered pink clouds over glitter ones. 

I used rectangle stitched die (from Wrap Around Box Die set) to cut the clouds and adhered them to the top and bottom of each side of the pink box. I added the adorable superhero girls and sentiments, and embellished with stars and flowers sequins. 

To embellish the petal closure I used confetti from Pink & Purple Heart Confetti.

Hello there! Franci here with you today with an incredible card. I'm showcasing the Super Duper set with a colorful project, perfect for all your beloved little ones.

First of all I die cut 3 Stitched Ovals (using the biggest die inside the set) and I created a shaped card base with 2 of them. The third one, I die cut it with one of the Fluffy Clouds border set dies. 

I also die cut multiple elements from the Heroic Halftones paper using these dies set: Stitched Ovals, Cityscape border die and the Fancy Frames Oval Dies set.

I stamped, Copic colored, and die cut all my images and glued everything down creating this fun and colorful shaped card design. I added some details with a white gel pen, some silver sparkle dots here and there. Finally I stamped my sentiment in the top right corner and my card is complete!

Elegant Leaves Cards with Angelica and Juliana

Hi friends, Angelica here with a colorful card featuring the Elegant Leaves stamp set. This stamp set makes me ready for fall. The leaves are gorgeous, and there’s a variety of words that can be put together for different Thankful/Grateful sentiments.

I stamped the leaves with embossing ink onto Fabriano Artistico Extra White Watercolor Paper. I poured white embossing powder over the images, tapped the excess powder off, then used my heat tool to melt the powder. I did this process a few times to cover the panel. Next, I taped the panel to a clip board, and tapped Nuvo Shimmer powders over the paper. I used colors Solar Flare, Violet Brocade, Falling Leaves, and Golden Sparkle. I sprayed the paper heavily with water to activate the powders, and used a paper towel to pick up any colors that started pooling too much together. Once I was happy with the colors, I let the panel air dry. 

I tapped a few shimmer colors onto my work space, and used water and a #2 round watercolor brush to darken up the leaves. I picked words from the stamp set to make a sentiment, then stamped and gold heat embossed them. I used the Frilly Frames Retro Petals Die to trim and add a stitched border to the sentiment strip. I used a beautiful plum card stock to back the sentiment and background with, then attached the panel to a card base.

Hello crafty friends! It's Juliana with you today to share a fall themed card using the Elegant Leaves Stamps combined with watercolor markers! I'm not a watercolor specialist, so I find using this kind of marker to be a great way to give you the beautiful look of watercolor but with the ease of markers and a water brush.

To get started, I trimmed a piece of watercolor paper to 4 x 5.25 inches and wiped it down with a powder tool. I then randomly stamped the leaves onto the paper using a tinted embossing ink so I could see the images while I was stamping. I then sprinkled the images with gold embossing powder and heat set it using a heat gun. I recommend working in small sections and to play around with the placement of the stamps so that you can get a nice pattern. While I was working on the leaf pattern, I also determined the placement of the title and stamped and embossed it using the same technique.

Once all of the embossing, was complete, I grabbed a mix of Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in the following colors and a water brush - Orange, Wine Red, Yellow, Bright Yellow, Mid Green, Brown and Deep Brown. I love how the embossed edges helps hold the ink and water in the place where you want it. To color in each of the leaves, I selected a couple of colors and added just a touch of color to the section of the leaf where I wanted that color. I don't color in the entire area with color. Instead, I draw a small line or dash to get some color onto the paper and then use the water brush to blend the colors. As I'm blending and coloring in each image with the water brush, I dab off excess color and water onto a paper towel.

After I finished the water coloring, I then scribbled the different colors onto my craft mat and added a bit of water to them. I then used a thin small paint brush to splatter color onto the paper. Then, to finish the card, I layered it onto a piece of green paper from the Gingham Jewel Tones 6x6 Paper Pad.

Frilly Frames Focused Cards by Leanne and Eloise

Hello and happy Monday! Leanne here and I have a frilly thank you card to share today. I love all the different Frilly Frames dies and how they can help add texture and interest to any card. My card today showcases the Retro Petals Filly Frames. 

I started with a white A2 size card base. I added a panel of light green card stock cut slightly smaller. I then layered the die cut Retro Petals panel over top.

Inks used for the rose and leaves: Altenew Cherry Blossom and Tropical Forest ink cube sets

Next I stamped out the greeting on a wide strip of white card stock. The greeting is from the Elegant Leaves stamp set. I then stamped out a rose, leaves, and a few tiny flowers from the Everything's Rosy stamp set. I adhered the stamped images with some tucked under the greeting strip.

I wanted to make this card extra special so I added some embellishment. I used Cloud 9 Nuvo Dream Drops to dot the centers of the petal pattern. I also added a few pink sequins I found in my stash that coordinated perfectly with the pink ink used to stamp the rose.

Hi friends, Eloise here and today I have a card to share with you all using the new Frilly Frames Sets. I used both the Hexagon and Retro Petal Sets. I paired this with the Hello Word Die as well as an additional sentiment from Plane Awesome.

I started off with creating a card base from the scallop frame in Hexagon Frilly Frames. I cut two from white cardstock, used a scoring board to score the 0.5” from the top on one and added adhesive. I then lined both up and adhered them together. I then die cut the Retro Petals out of 7 colours of cardstock and added foam tape to the backs of all of them. I also die cut the entire background out of vellum as well.

I laid the vellum piece over the top and then adhered in the petals. This way I could get them laid out correctly and rip the vellum off when I’m done. I then die cut the Hello Word Die from white and black cardstock and adhered them together a little offset.

Lastly, I white heat embossed the ‘I Miss You’ from Plane Awesome onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered it inside the Hello Word. I then added adhesive onto the back and adhered it onto the background.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cruising Critters Video with Mindy Baxter

Hello! It’s Mindy from My Creative Scoop and I’m back with another card for Sunny Studios Stamps.

I'm using the Cruising Critters Stamp Set and coordinating Die Set and I'm also using some stand alone dies. The stand alone dies really pull this card together and gives it an extra load of cuteness, in my opinion. :) I'm using the Fluffy Clouds Border Die for the clouds and also for the bushes in the background. The other stand alone die is the Cityscape Border die. So much fun!!!

I've colored my images with my Copic Markers. Here's a list of the Copics I'm using on my card.
