Make A Wish Cards with Angelica and Juliana

Hello friends! Angelica here with a quick birthday card idea to share. It's my son's birthday in a few days, and he's always asking for money. I made this slim card that's perfect to slip some cash into.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Make A Wish Birthday Balloon Birthday Card by Angelica Conrad

I stamped and colored the birthday cake and stars from the Make a Wish stamp set, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Next I used the Birthday Balloons Stamp Set to stamp five 2-layered balloons, and die-cut the balloons with the coordinating die. With a large dauber, I blended Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink onto white card front panel cut to 8.25 x 4.

I then figured out where I wanted the balloons and cake to be on the card front. I used a T-ruler and multi liner pen to draw balloon strings down to the cake.

I stamped the birthday sentiment from the Birthday Balloons Stamp Set with Verasmark embossing ink, and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I then attached the card front to craft foam. I used double-sided adhesive to add the card front to an 8.5 x 4.25 card base. I added the balloons and cake with thin foam adhesive squares. My final touch was gluing stars around the balloons.

I know my son is going to love this card, and the money inside! That's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Sunny Studio Friends! It's Juliana here with you today to share a birthday card featuring the Make A Wish Stamp Set. I've combined it with the adorable Love Monkey's Stamp Set to create an adorably appeeling card!

For the background, I die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Frilly Frames Polka Dot Die Set. I then applied Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Ink to the center of the card.

Next, I stamped and colored images from the Make A Wish and Love Monkey's Stamp Set using Copic Markers. To add to the birthday theme, I gave the monkey's birthday hats using stamps from the Party Pups Stamp Set.

Once all of the coloring was complete, I die cut the images using the coordinating die sets. Then I went about creating a little party scene . I used double sided foam adhesive to adhere some of the images and to add some dimension. I finished off the card with the sentiment from the Make A Wish Stamp Set.

Botanical Backdrop Cards with Leanne and Eloise

Hi everyone! Leanne here and I have a birthday card to share today. My card features a collage of die cut flowers against a dry embossed background. I thought it would be fun to die cut all the floral pieces out of pattern paper so I pulled out the new Gingham Pastel paper pack. I chose 4 different colors and cut out a bunch of petals, centers, and leaves. All these fun floral dies come from the Botanical Backdrop die set. I used small glue dots to adhere all the pieces of the flowers together then set them aside and prepared the background.

I started with a white A2 sized card stock panel. I added embossed detail using the Quilted Hearts embossing folder. I wrapped some baker’s twine around the panel towards the left side. I die cut a tag to stamp “happy birthday” which is from Everyday Greetings stamps. The tag comes from the Sliding Window die set. I lightly inked the edges of the tag with some Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Ink. I strung the tag on the twine and tied a bow. I secured the tag to the background at a slight angle with foam tape.

I then added the flowers all along the left side of the card. I grouped them fairly close together with some of the petals overlapping. I used glue dots again for this job. For a little extra embellishment, I added a scattering of clear sequins. I then adhered the completed panel to an A2 card base with foam tape.

--------------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone, Eloise here and today I have a card to share with you all using the Botanical Backdrop die set, I also pulled in the Frilly Frames Lattice dies for an extra layer.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Botanical Backdrop Frilly Frames Hello Card by Eloise Blue

To start off I die cut all my layers from coloured cardstock. I used green and a pink for the frame and flowers and then a blue for the background. I also used the Frilly Frames Lattice dies to die cut out of white as well. I then also added some additional colour to each of them using Distress Inks just to give the plain pieces a little bit of dimension.

(Distress Inks Used: Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry, Tumbled Glass and Mustard Seed)

Sunny Studio Stamps: Botanical Backdrop Frilly Frames Hello Card by Eloise Blue

Now all my pieces are die cut out, I created a blue card base which I ink blended some Tumbled Glass onto as well to give the same effect. I then added foam tape to my lattice background and adhered it onto the card base. I also adhered my green frame as well. For my flowers I curled the edges a little and adhered them down and added yellow enamel dots inside each of them. The flowers in this die set are originally meant to be layered, but I wanted to make them simpler this time.

For my sentiment I took the Hello Word die and die cut it from white foam and yellow cardstock. I then ink blended some Mustard Seed Distress Ink onto the yellow piece and adhered it to my white foam. I then adhered the sentiment onto my card and my card is complete.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you next time.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Love Monkey Cards with Keeway Tsao

Hi friends! It’s Keeway Tsao from Kiwi Koncepts and I’m crashing in to do a little guest blogging today! I instantly fell in love with the recent release of Love Monkey and have a couple of projects to share with you.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Love Monkey Frilly Frames Lattice Love Themed Monkey Cards by Keeway Tsao

The first thing I like to do is stamp all the images, color, and die cut so that I can play around with the pieces. My images were stamped in a dark brown hybrid ink, colored with copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies.

The hanging vines in the set create the perfect opportunity for these playful monkeys to hang around frames. I chose to use a frame with three openings, using the top two frames to hang monkeys, and the bottom frame to have one sitting on the ground.

My frame was die cut in white and behind each rectangular opening, I ink blended Evergreen Bough, Cracked Pistachio, and Antique Linen distress oxide inks.

Before I started assembling it all together, I also stamped the sentiment ‘I’m totally bananas for you’ onto the background in the same dark brown hybrid ink. The sentiment was already in three separate sections, perfect and easy to split up for each frame!

Finally, I added the frame and all my images to the card with foam tape to give that beautiful dimension to the card. The two monkeys are vying for the cute little girl’s heart and just showering her with bananas and gifts.

My second card takes a more simple look, but uses the beautiful Frilly Frames Lattice dies to add a delicate texture to the background. I die cut the lattice out of white card stock, and the background was ink blended with Stormy Sky, Shaded Lilac, and Spun Sugar from top to bottom.

The focal point of this card is the pair of monkeys in love. I made use of the balloons held by another monkey image, trimmed off the monkey, and adhered them behind other images as if the bananas and flowers were weighing the balloons down. I surrounded these gifts around the pair.

I heat embossed the sentiment ‘for my little monkey’ in white onto kraft card stock. I trimmed it down to strip and just the same width as the frame. I added the strip to the card first, and then all my images above it after.

These are the cutest little monkeys ever! Sending lots of love and inspiration your way. Thank you for dropping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Everything's Rosy Cards with Lexa and Rachel

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a greeting card featuring Everything's Rosy Stamps and the coordinating dies. This layering stamps from Sunny Studio always become hits, and I no wonder why. Just take a look at the results, they are so pretty and realistic. This roses stamp is a perfect addition to your flower layering stamps collection. It also goes really well with older stamp sets too. Let's get started because I'm excited!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Everything's Rosy Frilly Frames Vintage Jar Greetings Card by Lexa Levana

First I stamped the roses and other elements with the help of stamping tools. It makes the work so much easier especially when I need to double stamp one layer to get the color I wanted. I used Lawn Fawn Dye Inks because they are so crisp and have subtle colors. I'm so obsessed with them!

Ink colors for roses (in order from the lightest to the darkest): MFT Hybrid Ink Pad Cotton Candy, Lawn Fawn Dye Ink Wild Rose, MFT Hybrid Ink Pad Razzle Berry, Lawn Fawn Dye Ink Cranberry, Lawn Fawn Dye Ink Walnut

Ink colors for leaves (in order from the lightest to the darkest): MFT Hybrid Ink Pad Sour Apple, Lawn Fawn Dye Ink Jalapeno, Lawn Fawn Dye Ink Noble Fir

Sunny Studio Stamps: Everything's Rosy Frilly Frames Vintage Jar Greetings Card by Lexa Levana

As for the background, I use the brand new Frilly Frame Polka-Dots and Frilly Frames Lattice dies. Add a layer of vellum behind the lattice to soften the purple patterned paper from Flirty Flowers Paper Pad. The flower's stem is from the older stamps called Timeless Tulips and the Vintage Jar Stamps for the vase. I blend Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to create water illusion on the bottom part of the jar.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you like today's card as much as I do.
Have a wonderful day!

----------------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone! It's Rachel Alvarado here and I am showcasing the Everything's Rosy Stamp Set today. This is one of the most gorgeous rose layering stamp sets that I have ever seen. And the fun part is that they are super easy to use!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Everything's Rosy Fancy Frames Frilly Frames Thank You Card by Rachel Alvarado

I have two cards to share with you today. I used both the Everything's Rosy Stamp Set and Frilly Frames Lattice Die Set on both of my cards. For my first card (shown above), I decided to create a shaker card beneath the lattice. I simply added a clear sheet of acetate behind the lattice with a light amount of liquid adhesive. I then added small strips of foam tape around the sides before adding some Studio Katia Crystal Clear Mini Sequins.

Altenew ink colors for the roses: Blue Roses: Sea Glass, Ocean Waves, Dusk, and Desert Night; Sepia Rose: Sand Dunes, Rocky Shore, Mocha, and Espresso; Leaves: Bamboo, Parrot, Olive, and Moss

Lastly, I added a sheet from the Classic 6"x6" Gingham Paper Pad and some Tiny Dew Drops.

For my second card, I used the same sets but different colors. It's amazing how switching up the colors helps to change up the look of your card completely. I first die cut the Frilly Frames Lattice Die Set three times from white card stock and glued them together. I wanted to get bolder look with the lattice and accentuate it by giving it some more depth.

Once again, I used the Altenew Ink Mini Cubes for my roses and leaves. In addition, I also two Mini Ink Cubes from My Favorite Things. I added a beautiful blue sheet of patterned paper from the Gingham Jewel Tones 6"x6" Patterned Paper.

Colors Used: Yellow roses: MFT Lemon Chiffon, MFT Sunshine, Altenew Buttercream, Altenew Caramel Toffee, and Altenew Paper Bag; Leaves: (Altenew) Bamboo, Parrot, Olive, and Moss

I hope you enjoyed my cards today! If you like flowers, don't hesitate to check out these gorgeous rose layering stamps! You won't be disappointed. See you next week!
