Let's Meet For Coffee & Donuts Card with Vanessa

Hello everybody! Vanessa here with a yummy coffee themed card. 

I am sure we all ate too much during the holidays, but how about a chocolate covered donut and some coffee?

I trimmed a piece of woodgrain patterned paper to fit my white card base, die-cut a circle from it and adhered it to the card. Then I stamped the images from Mug Hugs and Sweet Shoppe and colored them with Copics. I paper-pieced the sleeve of the cup and die-cut everything with the matching dies. onto the donut, I applied glaze glue for a yummy shine. After everything was dried, I adhered the images with foam tape. Now I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment from City Streets onto a strip of red cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it to the card. Finally, I added wood veneer hearts.

Bundled Up Winter Birthday Card with Lindsey

Hi, Lindsey here today sharing a winter birthday card using the adorable Bundled Up stamp set. This set is just so cute and will last through the entire winter season. Let's get started on how I created this sweet birthday card.

To begin, I cut a stitched rectangle A2 size card base from teal card stock. Then, I stamped some teal stripes and snowflakes onto the card base using teal ink. I also used some distress ink to darken the edges of the rectangle. Next, I cut a white scalloped oval from white card stock and added some teal dots along the edge to color coordinate. 

Then, I cut a stitched oval from white card stock. This is where I would build my scene. I blended some teal ink onto the oval for the sky background and added some silver sparkle card stock as the snow. 

Next, I stamped out the penguin and his accessories and colored them using Copic markers. I adhered the penguin onto the sparkle snow using foam tape and attached everything else using regular adhesive. I used a white gel pen to add some details to the penguin and create snow on the oval. Finally, I tied a coordinating piece of twine along the fold of the card.

Wishing You a Cup of Cheer with Emily

I wasn't sure whether to title this post "Cup of Cheer" or "Couple of Cheery Critters". LOL! Either way, I couldn't stop laughing when I stamped the squirrel from Summer Picnic on to the mug from Mug Hugs. Then I got the idea to have another squirrel, or chipmunk from Woodsy Creatures, peeking out from behind the takeout cup.

Well, who wouldn't enjoy this cheery card on a cold winter's day? I love how the chipmunk is masquerading as a coffee cup. All of the images were heat embossed, then watercoloured with distress inks. I used masking paper to do some tricky stamping for the squirrel on the mug and paw on the wrapper.

Gleeful Reindeer Magical Birthday Card with Eloise

Hello everyone, Eloise here and I'm back to share a birthday card using the Gleeful Reindeer and Snow Kissed stamp set. This would be perfect for someone who has a birthday during the winter time.

To begin my card I stamped, coloured and die cut the jumping reindeer from the Gleeful Reindeer stamp set. I used Copic markers to colour him in and then the coordinating dies to cut him out. For the background I die cut four stitched rectangles out of some blue cardstock and on two of them, I  white heat embossed some snowflakes. I adhered the rectangles to my card with foam tape leaving the same amount of space around the card and between the rectangles.

For the sentiment, I used the Snow Kissed set for the 'wishing you a magical' part of the stamp and then used the Sending My Love stamp set for the 'birthday' part and white heat embossed that on some lavender cardstock, then cut a fishtail end at each end of the banner and adhered that to the centre of my card. I used foam tape to adhere down the reindeer as well and then added a little Wink of Stella as a finishing touch.

Last Minute Christmas Tags with Lexa

Hello everyone! Lexa here sharing some last minute Christmas tags with you. I think the best advice I can give you is to keep it simple and use the same layout. All the images are from the Christmas Icons stamp set and the coordinating dies are perfect for tags.  For my tag shape, I chose the classic Tag Toppers Dies and Fishtail Banner II Dies.

First I cut 4 pieces 2"x4.25" panel from white cardstock and shaped them one by one with the dies. I also prepared some leftovers Christmas patterned papers for the tags. I stamped all my images with Versafine black ink on watercolor paper and colored them with Distress Markers.

The stitched circle are blended with Mowed Lawn and Candied Apple Distress Inks. I love the classic color combination for Christmas, red and green will never go wrong. The sentiments on the tags came from various stamp set, Holiday Style and Bundled Up. Last touch is Gold Wink of Stella on the bottom part of my tags. It looks so sparkling in real life. I choose the white and red chevron ribbon, it matches my tags perfectly. Here, I want to show you closer looks of my tags...
