Sunny Saturday Share: Customer Spring & Easter Cards

Happy Saturday!  Today I'm popping in with some awesome Easter & Spring cards spotted on instagram over the past couple of weeks.

Up first is a darling card by Creations Galore in Greenbay, WI (@creationsgaloregb on Instagram).  Love how the eggs pick up the fun colors in the striped paper!  So happy! 

Anita Madden (@amadden725 on instagram) has created another adorable card using the set too!  Love her sweet little sunshine and gingham grassy border!  

The next card is a fun interactive card by Amy Y. (@sharingnewlove on Instagram).  Swing by her instagram page to see her wobbler and spinner in action.  So clever and cute!  :)

AJ Bodine (@rutabagapiedesigns on instagram) has created a darling scene using A Good Egg.  I adore how she grouped her paint cans and colored them to match the striped in her patterned paper.  The brushes sticking out of the paint cans is a super cute detail too!   Swing by her blog to see a really fun gift tag she made to match!  :)

Loving this sweet card by Jenny B (@owlbecrafty on Instagram).  The sparkle on her eggs to match her border is really fun!

This next card by Maggie (@rahzicrafts on instagram) using our Happy Home Stamps made me gasp at it's beauty and cleverness when I came across it!  I'm in awe...

I adore this sweet card by ML Russell using Backyard Bugs (@rprmlr77 on Instagram).  I never would have thought to color the snail in lavendar, but I think it's such a great idea!

ML Russell created a second darling project with Backyard Bugs (@rprmlr77 on Instagram).  I love how she crafted the little nurse's cap for the caterpillar.  Really fun!

Guest Designer Spotlight: Backyard Bugs Card & Video with Nina

Sunny Sentiments Bright Spot In My Day Card with Elise

Hello everyone!  It's Elise here today to share a card with you that features the Sunny Studio Stamps's  "Sunny Sentiments" and "Rain or Shine" stamp set and die!

I started by inking some light blue ink in the center of the card base. The images are all colored with Prismacolor pencils, and the sun and clouds are attached with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment in a light grey ink and added a few blue hearts around the images. I think the sun is so cute with that smiley face! :)

Sunny Sentiments Hello Sunshine Card and a Bonus Card by Marion

It's Marion here and I hope you are having a great week. Today I have two cards to share with you.

First up I have a card using the Sunny Sentiments stamp set. I really love the fonts in this set.

My second card used a variety of Sunny Studio stamp sets - and it was fun to have a play and mix and match sets. Once again I masked off an area on my card base with masking tape and blended in some distress ink (Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade). The penguin is from the Bundled Up stamp set, the balloons are from the Birthday Smiles stamp set and the sentiment is from the Sending My Love stamp set. The images were all coloured with Copic Markers.

An Easter Card with Sunny Borders by Heidi Criswell

Hello there!  Heidi here today with a card using the Sunny Border stamps and dies (along with the A Good Egg sets).  These stamps and dies can each stand on their own or be used together for beautiful results!

I used the banner to ground my little scene and then used Copic Markers in two coordinating colors of green to flick blades of grass for my little chick and eggs to sit on.

Sunny Studio Stamps Summer 2016 Sneak Peeks & Contest!

Hello there!  I feel like such a tease because I think these little cutouts of our new stamp sets can barely be considered a sneak peek, but I thought it would be fun to show you a small snippet of each set and have a contest to see who can come the closest to guessing the themes of our 7 new Summer sets being released on April 1st!  :)

Rain or Shine and Sunny Sentiments Rainbow Card with Audrey

Hello there!  Audrey here, and I am excited to be back for a guest post using the Rain or Shine and Sunny Sentiments stamp sets!  I love that these stamp sets work so well on their own, but can also be used together for even more options!  Adorable images, great sentiments, and super cute fonts... doesn't get better than that! :)

For my card today, I started off my using Salty Ocean Distress Ink to ink blend a blue ombre background.  I concentrated the ink to be darker and the top and fade lighter towards the bottom of the panel.  I used a water bottle to spritz water on the panel and soaked it up after about 30 seconds. I just love the effect that it creates.  

I added a stitched edge to the panel, and then stamped, colored and fussy cut the rainbow and clouds from the Rain or Shine stamp set, and the sun from the Sunny Sentiments stamp set.  I adhered the rainbow with a glue pen, and popped the sun and clouds up using foam tape.  I added some white gel pen accents to the sun, and some Diamond Stickles around the edge of each cloud for some added sparkle.  Then I stamped a sentiment from the Sunny Sentiments set under the rainbow, and popped the entire panel up on a white card base.
