Bursting Heart Die Focused Cards with Audrey and Vanessa

Hello Friends! Audrey here today with a fun card for you using the new Bursting Hearts die! I love that this die can be used horizontally or vertically for a totally different look. Today, I will use it for an A2 horizontal card. 

To create my card, I die cut the Bursting Hearts die, popped the inner most hearts on half of the panel, and created a rainbow shape. I die cut the Bursting Hearts die again from white, and was careful to keep as many of the hearts in the die cut as I could so I could easily color them with my copic markers. I wanted a looser look rather than perfectly blended, almost to look a bit like watercolor. When I was done with the coloring, I inlaid the hearts onto the card base in rainbow order. 

Then, I used the Slimline Nature Borders cloud die to cover up the remaining part of the card front. I stamped and colored a trio of birds from the Little Birdie stamp set, and die cut them with the coordinating Little Birdie dies before popping them up on the rainbow area and clouds.  I used a sentiment from the new Lovey Dovey stamp set, die cut with the Lovey Dovey dies, and die cut a trio of tiny clouds from the Comic Strip Everyday dies. To finish off my card, I added white gel pen accents and a scattering of little clay hearts.

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a Valentine`s Day card using the Bursting Hearts die.

I die-cut the Bursting Hearts die from white cardstock and die-cut a circle from it to use on the card. After I had tied-on the baker's twine, I added the circle to my Kraft card base. Now I stamped the penguins, colored them with Copics, fussy-cut the images and adhered them to the card. 

For today's card I mixed these sets:
Bursting Hearts Die
Passionate Penguins
Meow and Furever
Stitched Circle Small Dies
Chloe Alphabet Dies

I die-cut the LOVE, colored the letters and the hearts and added the pieces to the front. The sentiment was stamped and heat-embossed onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered with foam tape. To finish the card off, I stamped little hearts with white pigment ink.

Heart Shaped Die Focused Cards with Marine and Anja

Hey crafty friends, Marine here, back with a slimline shaker card featuring the Stitched Heart 2 die set and more birds from Little Birdie. Last week, they were tropical blue birds, well today, they're canaries! And I love those cuties so much I plan to create more types of birds in the coming weeks!

So I did the background first. I cut an 8,5 x 3,5" bristol panel, and used a cloud stencil from my stash along with tumbled glass distress ink to create a cloudy sky. And when it was done, I cut three windows out of this cloudy panel using the second die from the Stitched Heart 2 die set.

Next I cut a yellow card base, placed my three heart window panel on top, and I attached each die cut heart on the matching window. I applied liquid glue at the back of the three window panel and attached a large piece of acetate. And then I created dimension and room for the shaker accessories using foam strips at the back of the three window panel. I poured a rainbow mix inside each heart window, and then placed the card base on top to finally close and complete my shaker panel.

I stamped my images using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, cut them all using the coordinating dies and colored everything using my alcohol markers. And once I was done with the coloring, I attached the images on my three window cloudy panel using foam squares and liquid glue.

I white heat embossed a banner and sentiment from Little Birdie on vellum, and attached it using two tiny dots of liquid glue. And finally I brought a touch of shine by gluing some clear droplets.

Hello everyone, Anja here today sharing a spring themed card where I used the versatile heart shaped dies from the latest release. I love that the Scalloped Heart Dies and Stitched Heart 2 Dies can be layered together.

First, I covered the card base with one of the Flirty Flowers Papers. I die cut the largest scalloped heart from coral cardstock and the stitched heart from white cardstock. To create the background for my scene, I did some masking and ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass, Mowed Lawn, Shabby Shutters). I layered the hearts on top of each other and adhered them to the center of the card.

Next, I stamped the sweet images from the Bunnyville set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. The sentiment from the Paris Afternoon set was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Salvaged Patina Distress Embossing Glaze. I fussy cut it out with scissors.

Finally, I adhered the images and sentiment with foam tape. The cute bunny sitting on the carrot just makes me smile.

Lovey Dovey Cards with Gladys and Franci

Hello there! This is Gladys and I’m back with a new card featuring amazing products from the new release!! I love the new layering floral stamp set called Cherry Blossoms and Lovey Dovey sentiment stamp, they work well together to create this beautiful floral card!

First, I stamped the florals and leaves using pink and green tone dye inks. The stamp set has alphanumeric markings next to them to help guide you on layering the stamps together. It is easy to line up and it looks so pretty and realistic. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. 

Next I cut the A2 card panel from the Flirty Flower paper pack. I also used the Fancy Frames Rectangle dies from white cardstock and vellum. 

For the sentiment, I used the Lovey Dovey stamp and coordinating dies. This set has big, bold sentiments in a gorgeous scripty font. I love that it comes with coordinating dies to get in between each letters. I stamped it once and used the dies to cut multiple times on white cardstock then stacked them together to give dimension. After I adhered all the elements onto the card panel I added a few details using white gel pen and Nuvo crystal drop to the center of the flowers.

Hello there! Franci here with you today showcasing the new Lovely Dovey set.

First of all I stamped, colored with Copics and die cut this cute couple from the Passionate Penguins set. I created my cardbase out of white cardstock, masked the half bottom and inked the top with Distress ink. 

I remove the mask and stamp my sentiment in grey ink to match my penguins, then I glued the image down with foam adhesive and added a few sequins. Finally I saved all the little hearts I had by die cutting the new Bursting Hearts Dies last week so I used some of them here on my card to create a rain of lovely hearts!

Passionate Penguins Cards with Kavya and Isha

Hi folks, Kavya here. I am back on the blog with another fun project to share with you all! I am in love with the new release and as always… IT IS FREAKIN VERSATILE! Here is a summer card using a bunch of my fav stamps :) 

I first started of by stamping and coloring a bunch of images from Passionate Penguins, Beach Buddies and Beach Babies stamp sets. For the land and water, I die cut them our of colored cardstock using the Slimline Nature Border dies. For the sky, I ink blended it using Milled Lavender and Tumbled Glass distress oxides. As always, I splattered some white paint on the land, sky and water to add some drama! 

Then, I created a bunch of scenes using a comic strip die. I used another brand but you can always use Comic Strip Speech Bubbles! Finally, I layered it on top of some purple Flirty Flowers pattern paper. I didn’t add a sentiment on this card but you always add one if you’d like. I have been making a lot of non-sentiment cards lately just so that I can use them for any occasion.. especially if I am using a lot of critters!

Hello everyone, Isha here with you! Today I have this cute card featuring our new Passionate Penguins stamp and coordinating dies. Now the motivation for this card is my younger daughter as we do a lot of chilling together because she is still in school and I totally enjoy it. The images are so adorable in this set that I wanted to use as many as possible. The Comic Strip Everyday die is perfect, I felt.

To start, I stamped all the images onto alcohol friendly cardstock from the Passionate Penguins stamp set, color using copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies.

I then die-cut a white cardstock using Comic Strip Everyday die. Adhere the frame to a white cardbase. Sponge the sky onto the inside parts of the die-cut pieces, using pink distress ink. Die-cut the grass from the Picket Fence dies, sponge salvaged patina distress ink and adhere to the pieces. Adhere these pieces to the card. Add all the die-cut images to the card using 3D foam. Stamp the sentiment. Add white dots to the umbrella for added interest.
