Radiant Plumeria Cards with Candice and Franci

Hello crafty friends, Candice with you today! I am really loving how the new release has many complimentary stamp sets that can be combined together! Scene building is definitely my go to style and I love how the Radiant Plumeria stamps can be combined with other sets to create a perfect backdrop!

To create my Savanna scene, I used all new products:

• Radiant Plumeria stamps & coordinating dies
• Savanna Safari stamps & coordinating dies
• Tropical Scenes stamps & coordinating dies
• Stitched Semi-Circle dies

I began my card with an 8 1/2 X 3 1/2 card base which will fit nicely into your standard size envelopes. For my background, I first taped off just above the bottom and inked with old paper & antique linen for the dirt ground. I then moved the tape down and using the negative from a die cut semi circle to create my sun with squeezed lemonade. I covered the sun with the die cut semi circle and inked the rest of the sky with mustard seed, wild honey, spiced marmalade & ripe persimmon. To finish the background, I stamped the silhouettes of the tree and the fronds in Versafine black ink.

Next, I stamped the giraffe, elephant, lion, zebra, toucan, and vines, colored them with copic markers and then used the coordinating dies listed above to cut them out. For the layers of the fronds, I used crushed olive, peeled paint and forest moss.  

To put the card all together, I used foam tape on the vines and then added the animals with glue and foam tape. I also did this with the fronds to frame the scene and trimmed the edges with scissors. I finished with the perfect bold font from the Radiant Plumeria stamp set!

Tool Time Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a masculine card using Tool Time. I am struggling with cards for men, I always feel like a beginner card maker when the task of making a card suitable for a male comes up! This fab stamp set makes it a lot easier:

I started with a white card base, inked the front with blue Distress Oxide Inks and added blue ink droplets. Now I trimmed strips from wood patterned paper from the Amazing Argyle 6x6 Paper Pack, inked the edges and adhered them to the card. I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto another strip, added the nails with a black marker and adhered it. 

Now I stamped the images from the set onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics, added highlights with a white gel pen, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered the pieces to the card, using foam tape for the hammer.

Hello everyone, Anja here and today's card features the fun Tool Time mini stamp set which is just perfect for creating masculine projects which I often struggle with ;-)

I started off with an aqua A2 card base and added texture to a teal cardstock panel with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. I splattered on some white paint with a brush, let it dry completely and adhered the embossed panel with a piece of fun foam to the card base.

Next, I stamped the tool images as well as the book (Grad Cat set) and the paper roll (Woo Hoo set) in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I did some coloring with Copic Markers and fussy cut everything out.

I used the Wrap Around Box Dies to create a wooden tool box (to make the handle, I die cut the tag twice and did rotate it for the 2nd cut). I cut it from woodgrain cardstock and sponged the edges with brown ink.

I also die cut a circle from grid patterned paper (Gingham Pastels Paper) and trimmed the left side to offset it on my card. I adhered the tool box with foam squares and tucked the images inside. Finally, I added a sentiment banner and enamel dots to finish off my card.
