Layered Poinsettias Cards with Rachel and Candice

Hello friends! It's Rachel here and I have a card to share with you today that features the new Layered Poinsettia Die Set. To start my card, I first created my poinsettia by cutting the various layers in different shades of red card stock. I also cut one layer of leaves from green card stock. In order to get the illusion of added depth, I blended each piece lightly on the edges with some Distress Ink that was slightly darker than the card stock itself.

Also, I used small pieces of 3D Adhesive Foam Squares when adding each layer to also add some more dimension. If you preferred less dimension, you'd simply need to glue your layers together. Once my flower was assembled, I set it aside and worked on my card background. Since I loved the look of the Woodgrain Embossing Folder on my previous card, I used the same technique on this card. I added some brown ink to the front panel of my embossing folder and ran a piece of 4.25"x4.25" Kraft card stock through my machine. I then layered this woodgrain piece with both a square white and green piece of card stock.

For some added interest, I die cut another piece of green card stock with the Snowflake Circle Frame Die and added this to the center of my card. I then used this set to also cut some white snowflakes as accents. For my sentiment, I used the "Wishes" word die from the Layered Snowflake Frame Die and die cut my sentiment from white card stock. I glued this piece to the front of my card and added the word "Christmas" (from the Merry Mice Stamps Set) by heat embossing it with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder onto a strip of black card stock. Lastly, I added a few small White Pearls to the centers of my snowflakes and poinsettia.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today! Wishing you all a lovely weekend!

Welcome back my crafty friends, it's Candice with you again this Friday sharing an elegant Christmas card for you today using the new Layered Poinsettia dies

The fabulous Sunny Studio Stamps products I used are:
I began my card by creating an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which will fit nicely into the size 9A envelopes.

To create my background, I die cut strips from shimmer paper with the Frilly Frames Stripes die and using the negative for a guide, glued them to a piece of cardstock that I trimmed to fit on the front.

Next, I die cut the poinsettia leaves from the same shimmer paper. I then cut out three sets of the poinsettia petals, inking each layer with chipped sapphire, then faded jeans and topped with stormy sky.

For my large sentiment, I die cut the winter wishes from silver and multiples from scrap white cardstock and layered. I then heat embossed the sentiment in silver and trimmed to create a banner. For a simple embellishment, I added a few white pearls.

Thank you so much for visiting!

Merry Mice Cards with Anja and Vanessa

Hello everyone, Anja here and today's card features the adorable Merry Mice Stamps. I combined them with the beautiful Layered Snowflake Frame Die to create a winter scene.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Merry Mice Layered Snowflake Frame Die Winter Themed Holiday Card by Anja Bytyqi

First, I did an ink blended background with Distress Oxide Inks. I sprinkled on water droplets to lift the color in some spots. For the falling snow, I added white paint splatters with a brush.

I die cut the larger snowflake frame from a 5"×5" white cardstock panel. Due to the intricate details, I used a metal shim while running it through my die-cutting machine. I created a snow hill by die cutting a piece of white pearlescent paper and popped up the snowflake frame with foam tape.

Next, I stamped the mice and accessories in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and did some coloring with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and adhered them with liquid glue.

For the sentiment, I white heat embossed the small word 'HELLO' (from the Fabulous Flamingos set) on a little strip of lavender cardstock. I die cut the word 'Winter' (which is also included in the Layered Snowflake Frame Die set) from purple glitter cardstock. I assembled my card and added Blue & White Clay Snowflake Confetti as embellishments.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you're having a fabulous day!

Hello to you! Vanessa here today with a card using the adorable Merry Mice set. This set makes my heart happy!

First, I covered the front of my card base with red striped patterned paper from the Very Merry 6x6 paper. Now I die-cut the Frilly Frames Chevron die from Kraft cardstock, stamped the Frosty Flurries with white pigment ink and adhered the panel to the card.
I die-cut the tiny tags from the Wrap Around Box Dies from white cardstock, inked the bottom edges with red Distress Oxide Inks, tied-on baker's twine and adhered the tags to the card.

Then I stamped the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics, die-cut the pieces with the matching dies and adhered everything to the card, raising some parts with foam tape. Finally, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of green cardstock, notched the ends and adhered it.

I can't get over how cute these mice are!! What a gang :) Thanks for stopping by today!

Hogs & Kisses Cards with Ana and Franci

Hello friends! Ana here today with a super cute card featuring super adorable Hogs & Kisses stamps and coordinating dies!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Hogs & Kisses Frilly Frame Dies Seasonal Trees Woodland Border Dies Santa Claus Lane Winter Themed Holiday Card by Ana Anderson

I started with stamping, coloring and die cutting piggy images, then stamped the sentiments in the speech bubble and die cut it out. Next, I stamped, die cut and colored the large Christmas tree (from Seasonal Trees stamps) and few presents, ornaments and candy canes (from Santa Claus Lane stamps).

For the background I inked Spiced Marmalade and Worn Lipstick Distress inks, then spritzed the panel with water. I die cut snowy hills with Woodland Border Dies and inked them lightly with the same Distress ink colors. I adhered the hills to the background, then added the images and the sentiment speech bubble.

I backed the panel with a teal panel, added white scalloped panel (which I die cut with Frilly Frames Polka Dot dies), then added another teal layering panel. I adhered the finished scene to the card base and added highlights with white gel pen!

Aren’t these holiday piglets just too cute for words? I just adore their sweet, happy faces! Thank you so much for stopping by today friends! I’ll see you next week!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Hogs & Kisses Frilly Frame Dies Merry Mice Dies Santa Claus Lane Winter Themed Holiday Card by Franci Vignoli

Just look at these happy little festive piggies!! They make me giggle soo soo much! Ha! First of all I cut out a piece of this snowy day landscape background paper included in the new Very Merry 6x6 paper and cut out a coordinated card base out of white cardstock. I kept this card a little taller and slimmer to fit my stack of piggies at its best.

I stamped, colored and die cut all the images from these sets: Hogs & Kisses + coordinated diesSanta Claus Lane + coordinated diesMerry Mice + coordinated dies. Then I added some foiled details onto the front of my card, just 2 little stripes at the sides to create a pretty frame for my little scene, glued down my main panel and added all the images with foam tape. I stamped my sentiment on the snow at the bottom and added some white Nuvo Drops embellishments to the scene.

Finally I added some more details to all the images with a white gel pen and my Wink of Stella clear brush. Hope you like my card, thank you so much for stopping by today!

Sweet Treat Focused Cards with Angelica and Juliana

Hi friends! Angelica here, with a fun project using the Sweet Treat Bag Dies

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sweet Treats Gift Bag Dies Season's Greetings Winter Themed Gift Bag by Angelica Conrad

I used stamps from the Season's Greetings stamp set to decorate two pieces of kraft card stock. Once I finished stamping, I used the Sweet Treat Bag die to die-cut both pieces. I watched this video from Sunny Studio Stamps to help me assemble the bag.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sweet Treats Gift Bag Dies Season's Greetings Winter Themed Gift Bag by Angelica Conrad

I decorated the flap top with Holiday Cheer and Classic Gingham pattern papers, die-cutting them with the Sweater Vest Dies. I glued the die cuts onto a white die-cut flap, then attached the flap to the bag. I used small Basic Grey magnets to close the bag.

I love how easy this bag was to put together. I'll be making a lot more of these soon for the upcoming Christmas season. That's all that I have for today. Thanks for stopping by!

------------------------------------------------------

Hello Sunny Studio Friends! It's Juliana here and today I've created a Christmas gift bag using the Sweet Treat Bag Dies. I combined it with some other dies and an embossing folder to create a sweet little rustic woodland style.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sweet Treats Gift Bag Dies Season's Greetings Rustic Winter Dies Woodland Border Dies Winter Themed Gift Bag by Juliana Michaels

I began by taking the Sweet Treat Bag Dies and cutting the main shape twice from kraft cardstock. I then used the Woodgrain Embossing Folder to emboss each piece of the bag. I then assembled the bag following the instructions in this video.

Next, I took the Scalloped Tag Square Dies and cut the larger tag from white cardstock. I then took Therm O Web Purple Tape and placed it along the stitched lines to mask off the edges of the tag. I then  used Distress Oxide Inks to create a snowy sky. I then splattered it with watered down white acrylic paint to give the look of snowflakes.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sweet Treats Gift Bag Dies Season's Greetings Rustic Winter Dies Woodland Border Dies Winter Themed Gift Bag by Juliana Michaels

To create the rustic winter scene, I used the Rustic Winter Dies and Woodland Border Dies. I cut the deer from brown cardstock and the trees from green. I then inked the edges to add a little interest. I also die cut a piece of white cardstock using the border dies to create a snowy hill for the deer. Once all the pieces were created, I adhered them to the tag. I then finished it off with a red bow and added matching handles to the bag.

Since this is a gift bag, I used the tiny tag die that comes with the Sweet Treat Bag Dies to create a to/from tag for the bag. I stamped the to and from using the Season's Greetings Stamp Set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed learning how I created this rustic woodland style Christmas gift bag using the Sweet Treat Bag Dies.

Snowflake Frame Dies Focused Cards with Leanne and Eloise

Hello crafty friends, Leanne here! I been inspired by some recent early winter weather here in my area. We had our first snow of the season. So I decided to play around with dies from the Snowflake Circle Frame and Layered Snowflake Frame to create the feeling of a winter party on a card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Snowflake Circle Frame Dies Layered Snowflake Frame Dies Winter Themed Holiday Card by Leanne West

I wanted to make a unique background. I used two shades of green (CP Mint To Be & Garden Party ink) to create a splotchy watercolor look. I simply smooshed the ink pads onto a craft mat, spritzed with water, and then pressed a panel of Bristol Smooth card stock into the wet ink.  I dried the panel and repeated the process a few times. I then splattered thinned white paint over the entire panel.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Snowflake Circle Frame Dies Layered Snowflake Frame Dies Winter Themed Holiday Card by Leanne West

I made my own glitter card stock to die cut the snowflakes out of. I blended Tattered Rose and Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink onto a panel of card stock. I then applied a thin coat of Nuvo Moonstone Glitter Paste over the inked panel. Once dry, I die cut the snowflakes from the area of the panel with the shade of pink I wanted.

I trimmed the background panel slightly smaller than A2 size and adhered to a white card base. I added the snowflakes cascading down towards the left side. I also added some white pearls as a little extra embellishment. Next I adhered the greeting towards the lower right corner. I die cut the Winter Wishes greeting from white and green glitter card stock and then layered the two slightly offset. Lastly I tied white and silver twine around the folded side of the card.

----------------------------------------------------

Hi friends, Eloise here and today I’m using the Layered Snowflake Frame Die to create a Christmas Card. I also pulled in Feeling Frosty for some images and Santa Claus Lane for a sentiment.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Layered Snowflake Frame Dies Feeling Frosty Winter Themed Holiday Card by Eloise Blue

I started off with stamping and colouring my images from Feeling Frosty and cutting them out. I then took two pieces of watercolour cardstock, cut them down to 4 1/4” to 4 1/4” and ink blended some blue Distress Inks on the bottom of each of them, fading to white. I then cut the Layered Snowflake Frame Die from one of them.

(Copic Markers Used: BG70, BG72, BG75, BG78 / W00, W0 / W1, W5 / 0 / B000, B00 / YR00, YR02, YR12, YR18 / YG61, YG63, YG67, G28 / V91, V93, V95, V97 / E53, E55, E57 / R000, R00)

Sunny Studio Stamps: Layered Snowflake Frame Dies Feeling Frosty Winter Themed Holiday Card by Eloise Blue

I then added foam tape to the back of the snowflake frame and also my images. I adhered the snowflake frame on top of the other distress inked piece and then adhered my images on top. For my sentiment I used the ‘Have A Magical Christmas’ sentiment from Santa Claus Lane onto a strip of black cardstock. Tied some twine to the side of it and adhered it onto my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I’ll see you all next week.
