Harvest Happiness Thanksgiving Fall Card with Heidi

Hello everybody! Heidi here.  Today I am sharing more inspiration using the "Harvest Happiness" stamp set.  With the Thanksgiving celebrations approaching, this stamp and coordinated die set are a must have for all your card and projects.  I hope you'll enjoy the card that I created to share with you today.

I stamped and colored the cute little owls and the pumpkin pie with Copic markers and I die cut them using the coordinated dies. Then I die cut some frames using some dies that I have on hand to set the scene for my images and sentiment.

I used distress inks to blend a subtle background, and place all of the images using foam adhesive.

The Harvest happiness stamp and coordinated dies are available at the Sunny Studio Stamps shop.   We love to see your creations using Sunny Studio Stamps so don't forget to tag your work using the #SunnyStudioStamps

Have a lovely day!

Harvest Happiness Thanksgiving Owl Card by Melissa + Winners

Hello everyone, Melissa here. Today I have a card to share with you using the Harvest Happiness stamp set! I decided to make a fairly simple card today to really make these two cute little owls stand out.

To make this card I first die cut a circle out of a white square of cardstock. On another piece of square cardstock I marked out where the circle was when I placed it behind the die cut panel. This would be the area that would be peeking through.

I stamped the owls where I wanted them and masked them off. I then masked off the area of the grass and colored the rest with distress inks - this would be the sky. I did the same again by masking off the sky and applying ink to the grassy hill. I then unpeeled all the masks and colored the owls with Copic Markers. I then stuck the colored panel to the back of the white piece with the die cut circle and adhered both of those to a card base with a piece of patterned paper.

To finish off the card I made a little banner by die cutting the ends of a strip of card stock with the Fishtail Banners die. I then stamped the sentiment and heat embossed that. I added some green and yellow distress inks to the banner and adhered it to the card.

That completes the card for today, but before I go we have two winners to announce from our blog hop last week!   Congratulations Nathalie Paquette and Denise WardWe've emailed you.  ;)  Thank you to everyone who stopped by and for all the sweet comments left.

Be sure to check back this week to see what the other talented design team members created!  Thanks for stopping by.

Sunny Saturday Share: School Time & Birthday Smiles Cards by Yainea

Hello there!  Today for our Sunny Saturday Share we have a special guest designer which I'm sure many of you know well.  Cristina "Yainea" Nunez is joining us!!!  I am such a huge fan so I was delighted when she agreed to squeeze us into her busy schedule and create some cute cards with a couple of our stamp sets.  :)

Her first card uses our School Time stamps.  I just adore the fun chalkboard treatment she gave her background and how realistic her apple looks with her beautiful shading!

Up next is a card using our Birthday smiles stamps.  For this card, Yainea started by stamping the images in white pigment ink and then when it was fully dry she stamped over the images again in bright colors of dye ink.

I love how the colors pop against the kraft paper with this fun technique!  :)

Thank you Yainea for sharing your talents with us.  You're the best!  :)

Bundled Up Pink & Green Penguin Cool Christmas Card

Hi there!  I'm wrapping up my week hijacking the blog with one last Bundled Up card using one of my favorite color combos: Hot pink and lime green!

This particular hat is a favorite of mine from the set.  My daughter had a hat identical to this in red when she was two and it was the cutest thing ever!  I can still picture her chubby cheeks squeezed with the hat's chin strap!  ;)

To pick up the colors in my pre-colored penguin I repeatedly stamped the Cool Christmas sentiment in alternating colors of pale pink, hot pink and lime green ink on the diagonal.  After I was done I felt like it was still a little too plain for my taste so I stitched simple rows with white thread on my sewing machine.  I also die-cut a trio of matching snowflakes from the Snow Kissed die set which I topped with small jewels for a bit of sparkle.

I have to gush that I am loving these mini snowflake dies!  I'm finding they are just the right size to compliment so many stamped images!

Well, I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  Don't forget that there's still time to take advantage of our 20% off sale using the code "CARDMAKER" at our online storeI will pop in again on Monday with some winners from Wednesday's blog hop.  :)

Bundled Up Coral & Mint Penguin & Hot Cocoa Christmas Card

Hello there!  Thanks to everyone who stopped by and left sweet comments on our blog hop post yesterday.  There's still time to win one of two stamp sets being given away so if you missed it, make sure to check out THIS post.

I am so excited to hear your ideas on what stamp sets you would like to see in the future!  I definitely have plans for more critters so I'm happy to hear that many of you guys want them too.  I can't wait to start sharing peeks of our Spring release throughout the month of December.  If you're on facebook make sure to like our page because we will be sharing many of those peeks over there (see this helpful tutorial on how you can actually see more posts from your favorite fan pages in your newsfeed).  If you're not on facebook, not to worry... We will be sharing some peeks here as well.  :)

Today I have another card using the Bundled Up stamp set with some non-traditional Christmas colors.  I had colored this little guy beforehand so I took my cues from him and sponged on Cracked Pistachio and Barn Door distress inks for my background.

Taking another cue from the little guy, I thought it would be fun to play up the hot cocoa image for my background so I repeatedly stamped the hot cocoa mug using the same Barn Door distress ink after stamping it off once on scrap paper.

I love how the little ice block from the Snow Kissed set looks with the Bundled Up Penguin!

I will be back tomorrow with one more Bundled Up card before I turn the blog back to my ultra talented creative team.  :)

CardMaker & Sunny Studio Blog Hop Featuring Holiday Cards

Hello there!  You should be arriving here from Jennie's blog.  For those visiting for the first time, we would love to welcome you!  We are a new company specializing in quality made clear photopolymer stamps and steel dies lovingly made in the USA.  Here's a peek out our debut release... We are planning new releases every three months with our next release due out by early January.

Today for my project I created a rainbow inspired card using our popular Bundled Up stamp set along with word & snowflake dies from our Santa's Helpers and Snow Kissed die sets.

As I was stamping out the accessories, I thought to myself how cute it would be to make the penguins represent all the colors of the rainbow so I created a card that is 4" x 9" and fits perfectly in a business sized envelope.

For my background I lightly inked it up with some Tumbled Glass distress ink and scattered tiny snowflakes.  For my sentiment I blended the colors of the rainbow using the same Copic markers I had used to color my images and then added some glossy shine over the top using Ranger Glossy Accents (after adhering the words to my card with a Zig glue pen).

In honor of today's hop we are offering 20% off on all orders using the code "CARDMAKER" today through Saturday at Noon PST.  You can find our online store HERE.

We are also giving away a stamp set (of the winner's choosing) to two lucky winners!  You have up to 5 chances to win using the rafflecopter below.  :)

Snow Kissed Find Joy in The Simple Pleasures Penguin Skiing Card

Hello there!  Today I'm sharing a card using the Snow Kissed stamp set.  My kids and oldest daughter in particular are major snow bunnies so I designed this set with them in mind.

This set includes a lot of individual snowflake images.  Not only were these added as a way to take advantage of the extra tiny space available around the main images, but they were designed to be used together on a clear block for stamping unique custom backgrounds.

I finished off my card with a couple of tabs topped with some die-cut snowflake shapes from the coordinating Snow Kissed die set.  The red, white and blue color scheme is somewhat unexpected for a Winter card, but I like the way it turned out.  ;)

I hope you will join us tomorrow for a special blog hop with CardMaker Magazine.  :)
