Inside Greetings Congrats Cards with Bobbi and Catherine

Hello Sunny Studio friends! It’s Bobbi here with a baby card to share. I am using the following products by Sunny Studio Stamps:

Baby Elephant Stamps and coordinating die set

Inside Greetings: Congratulations stamps

Bursting Hearts Die

Icing Border Dies

Sunny Studio Stamps: Inside Greetings Congrats Card by Bobbi Lemanski (featuring Baby Elephant, Bursting Hearts Dies, Icing Border Dies)

I used Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for all of the cardstock elements and black dye ink for the stamping.

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I stamped and colored the cute
Baby Elephant design. I used the following Copic Markers to color it: RV00, RV02, YR31, YR30, B000, B00 and BV000. I used my white gel pen to add dots and swirls over the colored image to make it a bit more textural looking. It softens the look a bit.

Next, I cut the Bursting Hearts Die design from white cardstock. I ink blended Spun Sugar and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Inks, starting in the center and moving out a bit, leaving white around the edges. This panel will be used as the background for the elephant image.

For the card base, I cut the following pieces: 5″ wide X 11″ long piece and a 5″ wide X 7″ long piece. I scored the longer piece at 4″ (from the top edge) to create the inside 5″ X 7″ panel. The other A7 panel will be used to complete the front panel. I cut a 4-1/4″ wide X 3″ long rectangle from both pieces as shown above. It’s important that these panel openings line up perfectly so that they can “sandwich” the bursting hearts die cut panel in the middle of them.

I adhered the layers together with glue, carefully lining up the openings and “sandwiching” the die cut piece in the middle. This offers a nice finished edge on both sides. I used one of the
Icing Border Dies cut from pink cardstock to cover the 4″ edge from the front piece. I stamped two sentiments from the Inside Greetings: Congratulations stamps on the front panel. I added white hearts to the outside panel in a diagonal fashion for a little more subtle sweetness.

Inside, I stamped a third sentiment from the Inside Greetings: Congratulations stamp set and added more white hearts down the side of the interior panel. Note: I made sure to stamp the phrase below the rectangular opening so that it would not show through from the front.  This card is done!

Hello Friends! Catherine here, sharing a floral card featuring Inside Greetings Congrats Stamps!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Inside Greetings Congrats Card by Catherine Cohen (featuring Charming City, Timeless Tulips, Cheerful Daisies)

For the background, I stamped a piece of white card stock sized 4.25” x 5.5” with buildings from Charming City Stamps using two different colour inks.

I die cut two frames out of rectangles from Stitched Rectangle Dies, one from white card stock and the other using black patterned paper from Classic Sunburst Paper. I spattered the black frame with a small amount of Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain. For the white frame, I added texture by die cutting a stitched border on top of the four sides. I adhered the two frames and vellum sized 3.5” x 4” onto the background.

For the outer flower pocket, I trimmed one piece of white card stock 4” x 4” and stamped it with Charming City Stamps. I folded the cardstock to resemble a cone and trimmed off the ends. I repeated this with vellum and tucked the vellum inside the outer pocket.

Watering Can Die Focused Cards with Bobbi and Catherine

Hello friends. It’s Bobbi here with a floral card using the new Watering Can and coordinating dies and Lovely Lilacs stamps and dies. Both sets are easy to achieve desired results with their layered stamps. I am also using the Woodgrain Embossing folder and the Icing Border dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Watering Can Floral Themed Card by Bobbi Lemanski (featuring Lovely Lilacs, Embossing Folders, Icing Border Dies)

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I stamped (using all the image layers) and die cut the water can and lilacs. I used Distress Oxide Inks for the stamping. Once they were dry, I added a little more “vintage” using my Copics. Here’s the list of colors I used:

Watering Can: Speckled Egg and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks. I also used Copics in YR27, YR24, E57, E44 and #43 for the rusty spots.
Lilacs: Tattered Rose, Antique Linen, Scattered Straw, Saltwater Taffy, Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain, Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn. I also used Copics in R22 and YG67.
Butterfly: Copics in R24, R22, R20 and Y21.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Watering Can Floral Themed Card by Bobbi Lemanski (featuring Lovely Lilacs, Embossing Folders, Icing Border Dies)

I hand drew the strip of woodgrain to create a ledge for the watering can to “rest” on. I colored it in E59, E57, E55, E43, E53 and W4. I assembled the watering can with the lilacs, adding a few foam tabs behind the front two lilacs to make them stand out a bit more from the background florals.

For the card front panel background, I used the
Woodgrain Embossing folder on the top and three strips of the Icing Border dies at the bottom, allowing room for the woodgrain strip in between. I attached the watering can and added shadowing around the base using W6, We and W1 Copics.

Lastly, I added a small notecard to the floral bouquet. I cut a notecard to measure 1-1/2″ wide X 7/8″ tall when folded. I added more icing border die cuts to the front and then the butterfly from the Watering Can set.

Inside the notecard, I stamped the “Thinking of you” phrase from the Watering Can set. I stamped it twice masking the words to create a 2-line phrase to fit inside.

Designer's Choice Cards with Vanessa and Audrey

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a classic underwater scene using the Fintastic Friends set. Get ready for a scene somewhere beyond the sea.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Fintastic Friends Card by Vanessa Menhorn (featuring Ocean View, Spring Greenery Dies)

I first trimmed a panel of white cardstock slightly smaller than the card base. Now I inked the background with Salty Ocean, Broken Glass, Chipped Sapphire and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks. Using a stencil, I added the rays and the leaves and adhered the panel to the blue card base.

These are the sets I used today:
Fintastic Friends stamps + dies
Ocean View stamps + dies
Spring Greenery Dies

Then I stamped my images, colored them with Copics, die-cut the pieces with the matching dies and adhered the elements to the card with foam-tape. Finally, I added bubbles with a white gel pen.

Have a wonderful weekend everybody! And if you can't stop singing, you are welcome :)

Hello friends! Audrey here with a fun underwater scene card to share with you!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Ocean View & Kiddie Pool Card by Audrey Tokach

To create this card, I started by ink blending a panel cut to 3.5" x 5" with Vintage Photo, Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina Distress ink. I splattered on clean water to bleach other some areas along with more ink and watered down acrylic paint to mimic the look of bubbles. I stamped and images from both the Kiddie Pool and Ocean View stamp set and die cut them with the coordinating Kiddie Pool dies and Ocean View dies

After finding an arrangement that I liked, I popped the images up on foam tape. The panel was glued to an A2 card base on an angle for some added interest and I stamped a sentiment from the Best Fishes stamp set on a banner and popped it up on the left side of the scene. To finish off the card, I added some white gel pen accents and a scattering of bubble embellishments.

Summer Greenery Cards with Marieke and Marine

Hello Sunny Studio friends, Marieke here. Today I hope to inspire you with a card using die cuts only.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Summer Greenery Summer Themed Card by Marieke Slaats (featuring Sunshine Word Die)

First off I trimmed a white rectangle, splattered some black paint and let it dry. Die cut the Summer Greenery Dies out of a teal, blue and green cardstock. Ink Blended them using inks and splattered some water, paint or ink onto them.

Glued the leaves onto the rectangle and trimmed off what was hanging off the rectangle. Cut a white top fold basecard. Added the pattern panel onto the base card using foam tape.

Die cut the Sunshine Word die four times out of black cardstock and glued them together onto the card. Stamped the sentiment out of the Sending Sunshine stamp on white paper. Trimmed it to a small banner and added it to the card using foam tape. Finished off the card adding some clear sequins.

------------------------------------------

Hello crafty friends, Marine here with you today, I'm back with a new shaker card, I'm quite obsessed with them at the moment, they're so fun to make!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Summer Greenery Summer Themed Card by Marine Simon (featuring Fabulous Flamingos, Stitched Arch Dies)

This new card features some beautiful leaves from the Summer Greenery die set, but before cutting them, I started off by stamping two cute flamingos, as well as some flowers and tropical leaves from Fabulous Flamingos that I colored using my alcohol markers.

Next I created a simple distress oxide ink background. I divided a 5,5 x 4,25 inches bristol panel in three sections using washi tape: sand at the bottom, ocean right above it, and then sky at the top. For the sand section, I used antique linen + vintage photo + copic opaque white ink, for the ocean I used salvaged patina + peacock feathers, and for the sky I used worn lipstick + festive berries + copic opaque white ink.

I set my oxide ink panel aside to dry, and created the panel that goes on the front. I cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches navy blue panel, as well as a bunch of leaves out of the same paper using the Summer Greenery die set. I attached the leaves on the panel using liquid glue, added copic opaque white ink splatters all over the leaves and then cut a window out of the panel using a Stitched Arch die.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Summer Greenery Summer Themed Card by Marine Simon (featuring Fabulous Flamingos, Stitched Arch Dies)

I attached my window panel on a piece of acetate, added foam strips at the back all along the arch and on the sides as well, poured a bunch of clear jewels inside the window and then stuck the oxide ink panel to the foam strips to complete my shaker panel.

Next I cut more Summer Greenery leaves, as well as two Spring Greenery leaves out of different colored cardstock. I also created a flower using dies from the Botanical Backdrop die set, I arranged all those pieces at the top of the arch window to create a cluster, and attached them all using foam squares and glue dots, as well as the flamingos, flowers and leaves at the bottom of the arch.

For my sentiment, I white heat embossed the banner from Little Birdie on vellum, as well as the "Happy summer" phrase from Fabulous Flamingos inside of it, and attached it below the flower & leaf cluster using clear foam squares.

And that's it! I hope you like this new colorful summer shaker card! Of course you can check the process video if you need more details and information (click the image above). Thanks so much for stopping by, and see you next time!
