Mini Grass Border Die Focused Card with Leanne

Hi there! Leanne here and I have another Easter card to share. This fun, colorful scene takes me back to when my kids were little and they would get so excited to hunt for Easter eggs in the yard. It was such a happy sight with all those colorful eggs popping out of the bright green grass. 

I created this whimsical Easter scene with the Mini Grass Border dies and images from the Chubby Bunny stamp set. I started with an A2 size card base and added some color for the sky with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. Next I die cut four layers of the mini grass border to add to the scene. I die cut these from white card stock and then colored them with a blend of Mowed Lawn and Cracked Pistachio Distress inks. I also generously spattered the grass to give it a very speckled look.  

Copic colors: C01, C03, BG01, BG02, BG45, RV52, RV55, RV10, RV02, RV04, V12, V15, V17, YG01, YG03, YG05, Y11, Y15, E25, E27

Next I added all the Copic colored images.  The bunnies, chicks, and eggs are from Chubby Bunny. The Tulip images are from Spring Greetings. When I adhered the grass borders, I left the top edge free so I could tuck the images just slightly underneath. That's what so great about this new grass border version. You can tuck little images behind it without them being too covered up. To finish off this card I stamped the Easter Greeting sentiment which is included in the Big Bunny set.

Big Bunny Card with Isha

Hello everyone! Isha here with a fun spring theme card featuring the adorable Big Bunny stamps and coordinating dies. I know I am so very ready for spring, which shows in my color choices these days :)

I started by sponging kitsch flamingo, worn lipstick, dried marigold and wild honey distress oxide inks to create the background. Flick some water. Use the Dotted Diamond Portrait die to add texture to this panel.

Die-cut the grass using Mini Grass Border die, sponge using mowed lawn and peeled paint distress ink. Adhere to the panel. Stamp the images using the Big Bunny stamps, color using the copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies.

This adorable bunny can hold things as there is a separate die to die-cut the hand part, it's such a sweet and cute idea.

Mini Grass Border Die Focused Card with Marine

Hello crafty friends, Marine here, I'm very happy to be back on the blog with this Savanna Safari birthday card inspired by the Bighearted Bears card I made a few weeks ago. Once in a while, I like to look back at my cards to see which design I could recreate. Well, this time, I didn't have to look too far in the past, and thought that the tall and long rectangle windows were just perfect for the giraffe and her friends!

I started off by creating the background using some dies and pattern papers. I cut the frame out of an Amazing Argyle wooden pattern paper using the main die from Comic Strip Speech Bubble. I kept the frame only and attached it on a Sweater Weather turquoise pattern paper using 1mm foam squares. Next I cut another Comic Strip Speech Bubble frame out of a Dots & Stripes Pastels green pattern paper. This time I kept the inside pieces only, and used the Mini Grass Border die to cut four grass borders that I attached at the bottom of each section using 1mm foam squares.

I stamped my images on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, cut them all using the matching dies, and colored everything using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and Graph'it brush markers. Here is the detailed list of the stamp sets I used:

• Savanna Safari: giraffe, lion, zebra, toucan

• Fabulous Flamingos: tropical leaves

• Love Birds: branch, small leaves

• Chickie Baby & Chubby Bunny: flowers

• Love Monkey: vine

When the coloring was done, I attached the images on my panel using 1mm and 2mm foam squares. I also white heat embossed my "Have a wild day" greeting from Savanna Safari on a slim aqua banner I cut using a die from Notebook Photo Corners, and tucked it on the top right hand corner of my panel using foam squares again.

As always I finished my card with highlights and details using a white gel pen, and a little bit of morning dew nuvo drops on the hearts to make them shine. And that's it!

Tree Branch Die Focused Card with Isha

Hello everyone, Isha here with a fun and whimsical card featuring the Tree Branch die. As you know me, I love to experiment with my products, so instead of having the branch horizontal, I created a vertical whimsical tree for this enchanted forest scene.

I started by sponging salty ocean distress ink to a white layer, flick some of the same ink. Die-cut the grass using the Mini Grass Border dies, sponge with mowed lawn and  twisted citron inks, flick some peeled paint ink.

Stamp the images, color using copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating sentiments.

Bird - Love Birds stamps and dies
Bees, caterpillar - Garden Critters stamps and dies

Die-cut the branch and leaves using the Tree Branch die. Color using copic markers. Assemble the scene and adhere this panel to a white card base. I didn't use any sentiment on this card so that it can be personalized as per the need.

Sprawling Surfaces Card with Leanne

Hello everyone! Leanne here and I have an Easter card to share today. Did you know Easter is early this year? It's on March 31st. So it's time to get started on those Easter cards! This fun one showcases how I've used the Cobblestone image from Sprawling Surfaces to create a pathway for my tulip garden scene.   

I started with an ink blended sky on an A2 card base (a combo of Broken China & Salvaged Patina Distress Oxides). Next I used the Mini Grass Border and Fuffy Cloud Border to create a grass and shrub border. I used a green Copic marker and a white gel pen to add random dot detail to the grass and shrubs. I stamped the Cobblestone from Sprawling Surfaces with dark grey ink then Copic colored. I used W0 + W1 for the stones and N4 in between the stones. I then adhered the grass, pathway, and shrub border onto the card base.

I picked out several images from the Bunnyville stamp set to create my little garden scene. I Copic colored all these images. I die cut all the colored images with the coordinating Bunnyville dies and then adhered them onto the scene with thin foam squares so they would be popped up a bit. I hand drew the butterfly trails and lastly I added the greeting. The word "Easter" is from the Big Bunny stamp set. The die cut word "happy" is from Treat Bag Topper.

Big Bunny Card with Rachel

Hello friends! It's Rachel here with a fun Easter-themed A2 sized card featuring the newly released Big Bunny Stamp Set. I love adding patterned paper to my cards when possible, so I made sure to use a gorgeous teal piece of polka dotted paper from the Dots & Stripes Pastel Paper Pack. 

All of my images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating Big Bunny Die Set to cut them out. I set them aside and then die cut a scalloped oval frame using both the largest of the Scalloped Oval Mat 3 Dies and the second to largest Stitched Oval Dies. In order to give more dimension to my frame, I used some 3D foam adhesive tape to adhere it to the front of my card. I then added my bunny and basket into this frame using some more dimension tape.

I also added some grass using a grass-patterned piece of paper from the Spring Fever Paper Pack that I had die cut with the new Mini Grass Border Die. Next, I heat embossed part of my sentiment using some Fine Detail White Embossing Powder onto a scrap of black card stock. I also stamped the word "greetings" with black ink onto a scrap piece of white card stock and used the matching die to cut it out. Lastly, I adhered my sentiment pieces to my card front. I adore the size of this bunny, and I hope that you do as well!
