Fabulous Flamingos and Backyard Bugs Cards with Franci and Ana

Hi there! Franci here with you today with a flamazing project! Aww these flamingos from the Fabulous Flamingos set are so adorable!! 

I started by stamping, coloring and die cutting them, then I added some details with a white gel pen. I also die cut my panel out of white cardstock using the Frilly Frames Stripes set and create a coordinated card base out of light blue cardstock.

Then I inked a piece of white cardstock with Twisted Citron and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Inks, I blended them together nicely, let them dry completely and stamped all the leaves and flowers on top, with a darker green ink, to create this fun and soft patterned look. I die cut a circle window out of my panel and backed it up with the background I just created.

Finally I stamped my sentiment at the bottom, glued down my critters with foam adhesive, added a little confetti heart at the top and mounted my decorated panel onto my light blue card.

Hi crafties and welcome back! Ana here today with a spring themed card featuring Backyard Bugs stamps and dies, Eyelet Lace Border dies and Sunburst embossing folder.

I started by stamping the images from Backyard Bugs, and clouds and the sun from Sunny Sentiments (sun/large cloud) and Rain or Shine (smaller cloud) with Copic friendly ink. I colored them with Copic markers and cut them with coordinating dies.

I used grassy edges die (from Sunny Sentiments dies) to die cut green patterned paper (from Gingham Pastels paper pack) for the grass. To create the sunburst, I embossed top part of the panel, making sure the sun is to the top. I adhered the grass about halfway on the background then added the images.

Using VersaFine Onyx Black ink I stamped the sentiment (from Backyard Bugs set) then added a Eyelet Lace Border that I die cut out of red cardstock. I popped the finished panel with craft foam and adhered it to the card base.

Home Sweet Gnome and Spring Showers Cards with Rachel and Candice

Hello crafty friends, Rachel here! I hope you are all doing well! I have found that setting aside a few minutes each day to be crafty has helped me to keep some semblance of normalcy during these crazy times. 

I have a slimline card to share with you today that features both the adorable Home Sweet Gnome and Backyard Bugs stamp sets. I love creating slimline cards when I have a bunch of images that I want to use in one card without it looking too crowded. To start, I first stamped all of my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I then colored them with Copic Markers, cut them out, and then set them aside to work on my background.

For my background, I trimmed a piece of smooth white card stock to 8.25" x 3.25" and then blended the top section with some Blueprint Sketch and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks. I then die cut a strip of grass from white card stock using the grass die from the Sunny Sentiments Die Set. Once cut, I then blended it with some Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks to give it some color. Next, I stamped my sentiment with Black Ink onto the lower right side of my card and then added everything to my card base with some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape. Lastly, I added both a white and blue trim to my card using colored card stock so that my final card measurement would be 8.5" x 3.5".

Hello fellow Crafters! Candice with you today with a rainbow umbrella rain shaker, slimline style! This interactive card was inspired by a fellow DT member Ashley Ebben, who sent me a rain shaker card that made my day! 

I used a few Sunny Studio products to create my interactive card:

• Spring Showers stamps & coordinating dies
• Fluffy Clouds Border dies
• Comic Strip Speech Bubbles die (sun)

I began with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which will fit nicely into your standard size envelopes. For my background, I trimmed a piece of Bristol smooth to fit the card front, inked with black soot, chipped sapphire, faded jeans & blueprint sketch and then splattered with water, white paint & navy shimmer spray.

While that dried, I die cut the stitched clouds, inking the tops lightly with stormy sky and stamped the sentiment on the bottom cloud. Next, I stamped the umbrellas, colored them in rainbow with copic markers, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

To create the "rain" element, I adhered a strip of foam tape along the bottom and top of the inked front and marked with a pencil every 1/4" to line up the thread. I then added some 1/4" scor-tape over the foam tape for extra stickiness, adhered the thread on the top, strung the beads and pulled tight to the bottom. As I worked my way across, I added a second strip of scor-tape over the thread to hold it firmly, pressing as I finished each row. 

After I was done with the last one, I added another strip of foam tape on top. This allows the beads to move freely along the card and under the clouds. To put it all together, I added the clouds over the threads and layered the sun and umbrellas with foam tape too.

Comic Strip Speech Bubbles Cards with Franci and Ana

Hello there! Franci here with you today with a cute card featuring some of the new goodies!

First of all I die cut my panel with the new Frilly Frames Hexagon die, then I partially dry embossed the hexagon pattern in the center. I colored it by sponging some Spiced Marmalade ink on top and I let it dry.

I die cut some speech bubbled out of white cardstock using the Comic Strip Speech Bubbles set, I stamped all my bees from the Just Bee-cause set and colored everything with Copics. I also stamped the sentiment and I glued everything down on to my panel.

I mounted my panel on to a white card bases, added some details with a white gel pen, a little bit of Glossy Accents on all the wings and these lovely tiny hearts from the Red & Pink Heart Confetti set.

Hello friends!  It’s Ana here today with a sweet snail mail card featuring Comic Strip Speech Bubble Dies and Heroic Halftones 6x6 Paper Pack from the new 2019 fall release.

In addition to the newly released dies and papers I have also used the cutest images from Backyard Bugs Stamp Set and the coordinating dies.

I started by stamping and coloring the images, then die cutting them out. My inspiration for the rich fall colors I used to color the images came from new Colorful Autumn 6x6 Paper pack. 

Sentiments (from Backyard Bugs set) were stamped with black ink and die cut with Comic Strip Speech Bubbles Dies. For the grassy edges I used green paper from Colorful Autumn Paper Pack and a grass die from Sunny Sentiments Dies.

I choose patterned papers for the inside of the frames next, cut them to fit into each frame opening and started assembling the card. I adhered the patterned paper pieces directly to the card base, then added Comic Strip Speech Bubbles Frame with foam tape. Lastly, I arranged the images and sentiments and adhered them to the background!

Frilly Frames Dies Cards with Lexa and Rachel

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a card that highlighting the Frilly Frame Chevron Dies and Frilly Frame Stripes Dies. Instead of using just one, I mix up the stripes and chevron dies together in this card. They look so good together, right? Along with the flamingos from Fabulous Flamingos Stamp and the coordinating dies. Let's get started!

I started with cut the pretty pink patterned paper from Summer Splash Paper with Frilly Frame Chevron Dies for the inside and Frilly Frame Stripe Dies for the outside part. I layered it on a 4.25"x5.5" dark purple card base. The contrast between two create a beautiful background.

I use white oval behind the flamingos use Stitched Oval Dies, it lets the flamingos pop out more as center images. I stamped the images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. I use almost every elements from Fabulous Flamingos Stamp just because they are too pretty. I add yellow jewels on center of the flowers to add dimensions, then arrange them as a curve below two flamingos.

Hello and happy Friday! It's Rachel here and I have a fun little card today featuring the new Frilly Frames Stripes Dies combined with both the Home Sweet Gnome and Backyard Bugs Stamp Sets.

I love how this particular Frilly Frame just adds so much to the card and makes the images inside of it just pop as the focal point. To start, I first made the base of my card by trimming some Kraft Card Stock and then layering it with a Frilly Frame die cut from white card stock and then a smaller piece of light blue card stock.

I added some beautiful stitched clouds in the background by using the new Fluffy Clouds Dies and then die cut two strips of grass using the Sunny Sentiments Die. Once cut to size, I then lightly blended these two grass strips with various shades of green ink.

I stamped images from both the Backyard Bugs Stamps as well as the Home Sweet Gnome Set with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored all of my images with Copics and then cut them out. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment onto the bottom of the card and then adhered my images with both liquid adhesive and 3D Foam Adhesive Squares.
