Slice Of Summer Cards with Rachel and Lexa

Hello! It's Rachel here and I'm sharing a card with you today featuring the new Slice of Summer Stamp Set. I love all of the layering stamps from Sunny Studio Stamps! Even my kids were pretty impressed with how realistic these watermelons looked.

To start, I first stamped my watermelons with various shades of red and green inks. Inks Used: Reds: Altenew Rouge, Altenew Crimson, Versafine Crimson Red; Greens: Altenew Parrot, Altenew Bamboo, Altenew Moss

I then used the coordinating dies to cut out my watermelon pieces and set them aside to work on my card base. I added a piece of both red and green patterned paper from the Classic Gingham Paper Pad and then added a small strip of dark green card stock to separate them.

I used the Fancy Frames Circle Dies to cut a centerpiece for my card from white card stock. Before adhering everything together, I heat embossed my sentiment onto the bottom portion of my card with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. Lastly, I adhered my watermelon with both adhesive tape and 3D Foam Squares for some added dimension.

Hi everyone! Lexa here today to share a summer card using Slice of Summer Stamps and the coordinating dies. It creates the most juicy summer fruits layering stamp, they are honestly good enough to eat. You'll love it since it has offer you many choices of sentiments to match your projects. I have mine paired up with the older stamp set called Berry Bliss to add more fruits and colors.

I started my card with masking the card base using purple tape from TOW to create stripes. Then I blend Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral and Squeezed Lemonade. I'm in love with the result the moment I peeled off the tapes. I stamped the images with various dye inks. Then I use the coordinating dies to cut them all. All the images are adhered both with glue and foam tapes to create some dimensions. To balance the layout, the fruits are arranged in horizontal line while the background is vertical. 

The bright colors absolutely scream summer, don't you think so? "Thank you" sentiment is from Everyday Greeting Stamps. It's stamped with Versafine black ink and I add transparent embossing powder to create shine.

Fabulous Flamingos Cards with Anja and Vanessa

Hello everyone, Anja here and today I'm back with a love-themed card using the Fabulous Flamingos Stamps.

I started off with a lavender card base and cut out one of the new Summer Splash 6x6 Papers with a stitched rectangle die. I also die cut a circle window. For my romantic background, I blended together the Distress Oxide Inks Wilted Violet and Tattered Rose on a piece of Bristol cardstock. I also splattered on some ink with a paint brush.

Next, I stamped the images in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I did some watercoloring with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and cut the images out with the coordinating dies.

I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I adhered the images and popped up the flowers with foam squares. To finish my card, I added two tiny sequin hearts.

Hello! Vanessa here with a happy card using the adorable Fabulous Flamingos set. These flamingos are the cutest I've ever seen! I had so much fun with them.

I started with a panel of watercolor paper and stamped the leaves with green Distress Ink. Then I applied green watercolors and added ink droplets. After I had adhered the dried panel to the card, I die-cut the Fancy Frames Rectangle from green cardstock and adhered it. 

Now I stamped all the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered everything to the card, raising some images with foam tape.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of pink cardstock, heat-embossed it with white embossing powder, trimmed it and adhered it to the card.

Silly Sloths Cards with Mona and Franci

Hi crafty friends! Its Mona here, today I am showing you a cute card with the new Silly Sloth stamp set. 

I started the card making with stamping and coloring. I stamped images with the Silly Sloths and Fabulous Flamingos stamp sets, then I colored them with Copic markers. When it was done I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies.

Next I created the background. I created a bright pink watercolor background then I made a circle die-cut with Fancy Frames Circle dies. I backed the circle window with rainbow patterned paper from the Surprise Party paper pack and styled and adhered the colored images to my card.

Next I heat embossed the sentiment to a black cardstock and my card was ready.

Hi there and happy Wednesday! Franci here with you showcasing the new Silly Sloths set today.

These critters are sooo sweet, and all the sentiments included in this set will make you giggle for sure! I created my card base out of white cardstock and I masked the front to create this colorful background using Distress Inks. I also added some splatters with bright and sparkle watercolors and I let everything dry completely.

I stamped all the images, colored them with Copics (I love using super soft shades, even for these forest critters!) and die cut them with their coordinated dies. I glued the down with a combo of liquid glue and foam adhesive and I added some details with a white gel pen.

I stamped all my sentiment and finally added some sparkling clear sequins. Hope you like my card and thank you so much for stopping by today!

Sweater Vest Dies Cards with Angelica and Juliana

Hi friends, Angelica here with a fun Father's Day project. Can you believe we're getting towards that time of the year?? I am in a family of avid Football fans, so I thought it would be fun to incorporate the colors of my husband's and my father-in-law's favorite football teams into these Sweater Vest cards.

How cute are these Sweater Vest Dies?!! I used pattern papers from the Classic Gingham Paper Pack for the sweaters, the red representing my father-in-law's Buffalo Bills team, and the blue representing my husband's (and Mine!) Seattle Seahawks team. I die-cut the trimmings out of card stock in the secondary team colors.

To turn these sweaters into cards, I die-cut four more sweater bases out of white card stock. I used double-sided adhesive to adhere the completed sweaters to two of the white bases to make them card fronts. 

The other two bases I stamped Happy Father's Day using words from the Happy Thoughts stamp set, then added score lines 3/4 inches from the top of each base. I added strong adhesive above the score lines, then attached the card fronts to them.

I LOVE how these sweaters turned out. I can't wait to get started on Christmas cards with this die set! I hope I have given you ideas about sweater cards. Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Friends, it's Juliana here and I'm excited to be sharing how to add extra texture and interest to your card today using the Sunny Studio Stamps Sweater Vest Die Set, and embossing folder and flocking.

Because I wanted the texture to be the main focus for the card, I went clean and simple and only used dies to create my card front. To add the texture, I used a new product called DecoFoil Flock Transfer Sheets by Therm O Web. This fun new product allows you to easily add flocking to your paper crafting and card making projects for a fun fuzzy effect. And even better, I love that you can do it without all the mess that previous flocking powders caused.

I began by taking a piece of iCraft Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets and peeled off the liner on one side. I then adhered this to a piece of white cardstock. (I've found the cardstock to be helpful when using this adhesive to give your project a bit of stability as you apply the flocking.)  Next, I took this piece and die cut all of the elements for my card using the Sweater Vest Die Set making sure to cut with the liner side up. Once the die cutting was complete, I took DecoFoil Flock in various colors and adhered them to the die cut pieces. Make sure during this step that you adhere the fuzzy flocked side to the adhesive. You are then going to run each piece through your die cutting machine to press the flock into the adhesive for permanent adhesion.

After I had flocked all the things, I wanted to take things a step further by adding even more texture. I adhered the diamond shaped die cuts to the main sweater vest image and then placed this piece inside the Cable Knit Embossing Folder. I then ran this entire piece through my die cutting machine to emboss the design right into the flock. Isn't it fabulous?! And in real life, the soft fuzziness of the flock is the perfect thing for this adorable sweater vest.

Wrap Around Box Projects with Leanne and Eloise

Hello there! Leanne here and I’m going tropical with today’s project. I’ve used the new Wrap Around Box dies to create a small box to put a gift inside for my daughter. Since she loves anything tropical themed and the color pink, I used images from Fabulous Flamingos along with some other April release sets to decorate the box.  

I used 110 lb. pink card stock to die cut the main box pieces from. I then cut out the striped decorative panels, using dies also from the Wrap Around Box set. The striped pattern is from the Striped Silly paper pack. To create the little island for my tropical scene, I used some kraft card stock and a Stitched Oval die. I then used the stitched panel die from Wrap Around Box to square off the bottom of the island to perfectly match the shape of the box. I stamped and Copic colored all the images. The flamingo, tropical leaf, and tiny flowers are from Fabulous Flamingos. The larger palm tree is from Seasonal Trees and the smaller palm tree if from Sending Sunshine. 

To finish off the box I created a tiny tag. The tag die is included in the Wrap Around Box set. I stamped a sentiment from Fabulous Flamingos and decorated with a tropical leaf and flowers. I then attached the tag to the box by punching a small hole in one of the top flaps and tied a bow with baker’s twine. 

This box was so easy to assemble and decorate. I think it’s a fun size to put little gifts inside such as nail polish, lip balm, jewelry, or even some small treats like candy. Happy crafting!

Hello friends, Eloise here and today we are sharing projects using the Wrap Around Box Die. This is such a cool box die, it’s perfect for all occasions and it’s a really good size, too. I also used the Backyard Bugs Stamp Set to decorate with since it gave me a chance to use the new patterned papers.

To start off I stamped and coloured my images with Copic Markers and then die cut them out. I then used the Wrap Around Box Die and cut all the pieces I needed out, as well as using the grassy border die from Sunny Sentiments.

(Copic Markers Used: RV10, RV13, RV25, RV19 / YG01, YG23, YG07, YG67 / YR00, YR02, YR12, YR18 / BG10, BG11, BG13, BG49 / B21, B24, B26, B18 / W00, W0, W1, W3, W5, W7 / 0 / Y23, Y32, Y35, Y38)

For my box, I cut four of the main pieces from yellow cardstock and then the extra rectangle piece four times from the cloud patterned paper in the Summer Splash Patterned Paper Pack. I also cut the topper piece four times from the striped patterned paper in the same collection, which is where I got my colour inspiration from. Once all my pieces were cut, I assembled them together. I then adhered my green grassy borders at the bottom of each rectangle as well.

Once my box was assembled, I adhered all my images into place. For my sentiment I used the ‘Thanks A Buzzillion’ and stamped it onto a white tag. I added a yellow topper; both from the same Wrap Around Box Die and threaded through some white twine. I then threaded through the twine on the box as well and tied a bow.
