Barnyard Buddies Funny Farm Bouquet Of Balloons Card with Amy

Hello everyone! Amy here today with a card that features the new Barnyard Buddies and Missing Ewe stamp sets. These two sets are a must have if you love cute farm animals like me! It's a versatile set with punny sentiments and lots of great images to make delightful scenes. 

I started by making the card front. I used A2 trimmed Bristol cardstock and stamped the barn and the fence using Copic friendly black ink. Then, I stenciled in the clouds using Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. Afterwards, I stamped the sentiment and colored the rest of the front with Copic markers. 

Since the sentiments says "Greetings From The Funny Farm" I thought it would fun to add a pig flying away tied to balloons. So, I used the balloon stamp from Oceans Of Joy, and used the masking technique to build it into a bouquet of balloons on smooth white cardstock. I stamped the rest of the farm animals on the same cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I had so much fun coloring them. For this card, I decided I didn't want any white borders, so I fussy cut all of them and went over the edges with Memento Tuxedo Black Marker for a cleaner look.

Lastly, I created the rest of the funny scene with the chick on top of the sheep's head looking up at the pig and mounted the chicken slanted. I used foam adhesives to add the images to the card front for dimension.

Happy Owl-o-ween Princess Owl Shaker Card with Nancy

Hey there Sunny fans, Nancy here with a look at the new Happy Owl-o-ween stamp set. While it's definitely a great Halloween stamp, I challenged myself to use it for anything but the spooky holiday. I was inspired by the thank you sentiment in the set and my niece's love of all things princess. And this is the card that I came up with.

To create the shaker, I used a circle steel die in the center of a white card base. Distress Oxide Ink in Fossilized Amber and Worn Lipstick were layered to create the colorful watercolored effect for the center of the shaker. A sprinkling of sequins, clear dew drops and tiny star confetti were used to fill up this pocket of goodness. 

The sentiment was gently curved on a clear acrylic block before stamping to follow the outline of the circle shaker. All of the stamped images including that cute princess owl were colored with Copic markers for a bold punch of color. The tree and birdie stamped images are from the A Bird's Life stamp set and make a great addition to the owls.

I think this same design would've made for a great birthday card as well. I love that I could customize this easily for the little cowboy or pirate in my life as well. Pretty Pumpkins & Autumn Greetings Layered Pumpkin Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I have another card using the Pretty Pumpkins and Autumn Greetings stamp set for you all. These two work so well together and I'm loving these layering pumpkins so much!

To begin I stamped out my pumpkins. Today I'm using Distress Inks to stamp. I used Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey Spiced Marmalade and Ripe Persimmon for my layering today. I first inked up my first layering of my image with the lightest colour of ink, spritzed it with water a couple times and stamped down. 

I just repeated this step going up in darkness and making sure I dried each layer in between layers to make them more defined. I repeated this step for all pumpkins and other images also. Like the leaves and vines. I then die cut all my images out using the coordinating dies, and once they were cut I proceeded to stamp the stems on the pumpkins, as it's easier to line then up.

Next up I ink blended some Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks onto my background. I then took my Rays stencil from Tim Holtz, layered it over top and spritzed it with water, then picking up the excess with a cloth and drying it off with a heat tool. Looks so cool and you get a subtle bleached effect on your background. Once everything was dry I adhered down my pumpkins and accents. I then used the 'Much Gratitude' sentiment from Autumn Greetings and stamped it down the bottom of my panel with black ink. I adhered my panel onto some orange cardstock and then onto a white card base to finish up my card.

Cute As A Button Baby Boy Themed Card with Lexa

Hello everyone! Lexa here to share a card with another brand new release from Sunny Studio, the Cute As A Button stamp and the coordinating dies. As soon I saw this set I knew it right away that it would look adorable together with the Baby Bear stamp. So here I am with a card that combine both sets.

I stamped a lot of button stamps in blue, yellow and green with the help of my stamping tool. After I finished, I die cut all the buttons with the coordinating dies. You know what's the best about the dies? They don't leave any white borders like other dies usually do, they even created the button holes for the bigger one. So it looks more real after I popped them out from the dies. They are adorrrable! 

The images from Baby Bear are stamped with Versafine black ink and watercolored using Distress Markers. The baby bear and all his accessories are just adorable inside the button frame. I blended Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink on the bottom of rectangle panel so the bear won't look like floating. The sentiment is stamped on a strip of fishtail banner and adhered on the middle. The baby blue polka dots patterned paper was perfect for the card base, don't you think?
