Polar Playmates Winter Themed Christmas Card with Nancy

Hey there everyone, Nancy here today with a look at the Polar Playmates stamp and coordinating die set. While this set is not Christmas theme, I thought that combining it with a few of my favorite holiday stamps would make for a cute card! Who doesn’t love a Christmas seal?

To begin this card, I started by masking the bottom of the card with a strip of washi tape and blending Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to create a soft background. Next, the stamped images were watercolored with bright hues from the Peerless Watercolor cards. I pulled out a stamp set from last year, Christmas Icons, to add some holiday style in the form of wreath to the igloo! This instantly turned it into a Christmas card. 

The sled and candy canes are from the Playful Polar Bears stamp set and added a whimsical and holiday spirit to the card. The sentiment from the Festive Greetings stamp set was stamped in black in the upper right hand corner. Just underneath the "from our home to yours" sentiment from the Christmas Home stamp set was stamped in red. The row of dots underlines the word "joy" and leads the eye straight across the large sentiment block. A sprinkle of clear sequins in a few different sizes tie the top and bottom halves of the card.

Christmas Home Winter Scene Christmas Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I have a card to share with you all using the Christmas Home stamp set. 

To begin I stamped my images out with some Versafine Onyx black ink and clear heat embossed them. I then coloured them in with Peerless Watercolors and cut them out using the coordinating dies. I then die cut a piece of white cardstock with a stitched rectangle die and ink blended some Salty Ocean and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink on top. I then cut down a piece of white cardstock using the same rectangle die and cut it at a slope on top to look like a snowy hill, then adhered it down at the bottom of my rectangle with foam tape. 

Next I adhered all my images down using a mixture of foam and flat adhesive on top of my snow hill. I then stamped my sentiment on the top of my panel half with black ink and the other half white heat embossed. I then added fun foam on the back of my panel and adhered it down to a white card base.
