Holiday Gift Tags with Alma and Marie

Hi, Alma here. Today I want to show you three Christmas Shaker Tags, which I made with the Mini Mat & Tag 2 Dies.

First of all I die-cut the tag from the Mini Mat & Tag 2 dies six time. Then I whipped the Tags with the Distress Oxide Inks "Iced Spruce" and "Stormy Sky". Then I die-cut a window in three of the tags with one of the Stitched Arch Dies.

After that I die-cut the dears and the birch trees (several time) from the Rustic Winter Dies and color them with Copics. Now I glued the birch trees in the tag with the window. After that I glued a foil behind the window and added  a snow cloud (Slimline Nature Border Dies) and a deer in front of the foil. Then I filled a lot of sequins in the shaker tags and glued all together. 

Finally I added some decoration with the leaves from the Pristine Poinsettia Dies and some ribbon and a little bell! Merry Christmas to all!

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Marie back for more Holiday paper crafting inspiration. Today I'm sharing three large gift tags created using Sunny Studio's Mini Mat & Tag Dies. 

These tags are perfect if you don't have a lot of time to create a card, because their size makes them super fast and easy to embellish! I also love how the back is large enough to write personal messages and attach straight to your gift! 

For my first tag, I used the Mini Mat & Tag 2 Dies. I start off by die cutting my tag from Neenah Solar White 110 lb heavyweight cardstock. I then die cut another tag from pattern paper and adhered it to the cardstock  base  moving it slightly upward to  reveal a very subtle white scalloped border at the bottom of the tag. I then added the white tag top. I die cut some craft paper and adhere that to the mini mat base using double sided adhesive tape. I splattered both the tag and mini mat using a watered down white acrylic paint. I stamped out my adorable penguins in an envelope images from the Passionate Penguins Stamps onto watercolor paper. I colored my images using Faber- Castell Watercolor pencils.

I wanted to turn this non Holiday image into something super festive so I dressed up my penguin with a Santa hat image from the Passionate Penguins Stamps and cut it out using the Penguin Party Dies. I also used some Holly Berries and leaves from the Winter Wreaths Stamps. I cut out the holly berries and leaves with the corresponding Winter Wreaths Dies. After fussy cutting my penguin image, I adhered it to my tag using double sided foam tape for dimension. I added some gold and white bakers twine tied in a bow to the top of of the tag and then adhered the tag to the mini mat using double sided tape adhesive. I then attached more twine to the top of the mini mat. I added some Ranger Grit Paste in "Snowfall" to the leaves and berries. I added Stickles in Sprinkled Sugar to the bow and santa hat. The grit paste and Stickles leave such a beautiful sugar crystal texture that sparkle and shine! 

For tag number two, I used the Mini Mat & Tag 3 Dies. Using just the Mini Mat, I cut out my base panel from Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock. I also die cut some patterned paper in a vintage mint shade. I attached the pattern paper to cardstock using double sided adhesive and gave it a subtle snow texture using watered down white paint splatters. I stamped out a wreath using the Winter Wreaths Stamps and cut it out using the Winter Wreaths Dies. I stamped out the adorable flying reindeer from the Reindeer Games Stamps. With Antique linen Distress Ink, I stamped my image onto watercolor paper, and colored it with watercolor pencils. 

Then, using the Reindeer Games Dies I cut out my image. I adhered everything to the Mini mat using a combination of Bearly Art Craft Glue, double sided adhesive, and double sided foam strips. I added the word "Joy" using the Loopy Letters Dies cut from red glitter paper. This created such a cute touch to balance out the red colors in the images. I also added some snowflakes with Stickles in the shade Unicorn. To finish off,  I placed red and white festive bakers twine to the top of the tag. 

For tag number three, I used a combination of Mini Mat & Tag 2 Dies for the mat portion and Mini Mat & Tag 1 Die for the tag. I used the super adorable snowman image from the Snowman Kisses Stamps and cut it out using the Snowman Kisses Dies. I wanted to make a pastel themed tag so I added some pink snowflakes. I adhered the tag to the mat and added gold and white twine.

Winter Wreaths with Marine and Waleska

Hello crafty friends, Marine here, super happy to be back with this new shaker card showcasing the beautiful Winter Wreaths stamp set. As very often I went for non-traditional colors, and I started off by stamping the wreath using blue ink. I used blue shades to stamp the poinsettias, and a light grey ink to stamp the bow. And I added embossed details in silver on those elements to bring some shine.

Next I created the window. I cut a white Comic Strip Speech Bubble panel, a second one out of scrap paper, and an acetate panel. I temporarily taped the second frame to the acetate panel, and used white ink along with a sponge dauber to create a frosty look on the acetate. And I also added splatters of that same white ink all over the acetate.

Next I worked on the shaker panel. I first attached the white frame to the acetate using double sided tape. At the back of the panel, I added foam strips on the four edges and on the slim strips as well. I made the inside foam edges non sticky using my powder tool, added White Snowflake Confetti and iridescent confetti inside each small window, and closed the shaker panel using a pattern paper from the Very Merry paper pack.

I heat embossed my "Happy Holidays" greeting from Holiday Greetings in silver on black cardstock, cut it using the coordinating die and attached it below the wreath using foam squares. And finally I added a few clear droplets here and there to bring more shine to the card.

Hello there, Waleska here. Today I have card inspiration for you with two of my favorite elements, rainbow colors and inks! This colorful card is just so happy and bright I hope you like it!

For this card I started by creating the inky background I used some of my favorite Oxide Ink colors on Nina Solar White cardstock. The colors I used are Festive Berries, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet. I added water splashes to this panel to add interest and for some shine I added glitter watercolor too. I then stamped the wreath from Winter Wreaths, I used the pine bough with white embossing powder and I inked it with the same colors I used for the background panel, I cut the wreath with the coordinating die and I adhere it to the center of my front panel.

I stamped the beautiful layered bow that comes in the stamp set trying to match the colors I previously used. I used Spectrum Noir Inks in tones: Red: bordeaux, orange and Chinese red; Yellow: honey pot, lemon tonic and straw bale; Purple: damson wine, crushed velvet and pale fig; Aqua: Lagoon, parakeet and Oasis. I love the 3D look of this bow.  

I cut some peppermint candies from the Gingerbread House dies and I started decorating the wreath with all this elements. Finally I added a frame from the Fancy Frame Rectangle dies with white cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the Jolly Gingerbread stamp set. Super fun and colorful card, thank you so much for stopping by, have a wonderful rest of your day!

Winter Wreath Cards with Tina and Vanessa

Hello crafty friends, it’s Tina and today I am creating with the new Winter Wreath stamp and die set! A beautiful layering set that you can use for so many occasions! Of course the wreath is gorgeous as is but there are so many cute critters in this holiday release that I just had to include an adorable penguin from Penguin Party.

I stamped one of the wreaths on Neenah Solar White card stock with Distress Oxides. Salvaged Patina for my base layer and Peacock Feathers to darken the outer edges. If you use a blending tool you don’t get harsh lines between the two colors. Next, I die cut the wreath with the matching die. The bow in this set consists of three layers, I used Spun Sugar, Kitch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry distress oxides. The details on these stamps are just stunning!

To embellish the wreath I chose the beautiful snowflakes from the Snowflake Circle Frame die. So easy to create a bunch of these! I just ink blended two circles on a piece of Neenah paper with Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry. The die cuts all the snowflakes with each pass through your die cutting machine. I layered the pink and teal snowflakes with some liquid glue.

Next, I stamped, die cut and colored my cute penguin from Penguin Party and added some glitter to his hat. I wanted a bold sentiment but didn’t have enough space on my panel for the complete Holiday Greetings. So, I stamped and die cut the entire ‘Merry Christmas’ and did some easy fussy cutting to select the ‘Merry’ part. The ‘Christmas’ word comes from the Reindeer Games stamp set.

The Woodgrain Embossing Folder is the perfect backdrop for our wreath and I created it from Neenah Solar White cardstock. Two frames from Fancy Frames Rectangle dies give the card that elegant festive look. To balance the colors in my design, I cut an additional skinny frame (with two nested rectangle dies) and ink blended it with Picked Raspberry.

Assembling this card was the next step, I glued the Woodgrain and frames directly to the card base. Next, I added the wreath, bow, snowflakes, and penguin with foam tape. And finally, I adhered the combined sentiment. As I mentioned in a previous blog post, I love the Pure White Jewels for that snowy look bling!

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a cute holiday card using Winter Wreaths.

I started with a panel of white cardstock and added pink ink droplets before adhering it to the Kraft card base. Now I stamped the wreath elements, the birds from Little Birdie and the sentiment from Holiday Greetings and die-cut the pieces with the matching dies. I colored the birds with Copics and adhered everything to the card, popping-up several elements with foam tape.

This adorable couple was made to be sitting on this beautiful wreath, don't you agree? Happy weekend and thanks for visiting!

Winter Wreaths Cards with Bobbi and Cathy

Hello Sunny friends. It’s Bobbi here with a holiday card featuring the Winter Wreaths stamps and dies. I’ve paired this wreath set with the Classy Christmas stamps and dies and the Holiday Greetings stamps and dies. 

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I splattered the card front panel with white paint on black cardstock. While the paint was drying, I stamped the evergreen wreath using a gold metallic ink on white cardstock and die cut the wreath using the coordinating die. I love that the center of the wreath is cut out with the die!

I stamped two poinsettias, two pine cones, and a number of holly leaves and berries to decorate the wreath. I also added a bow from the wreath set. I colored the images using the following Copic colors:

Reds for berries and poinsettias: R89, R46, R24, R17, R14
Greens for leaves: YG67, YG63, YG03
Browns: E59, E57, E55, E53, E40

The bow was stamped in two colors of red and the sentiment was stamped in green ink.  After cutting the images, I added gold metallic NUVO drops to the poinsettia centers and around the wreath. I also attached the one poinsettia, bow and the “Season’s Greetings” phrase using black foam tabs to make them stand out. I added more Nuvo metallic gold drops to the wreath to finish the card.

Hey friends! Cathy here today sharing a serene card for the Holiday season featuring the Winter Wreaths Stamps and coordinating dies. Just inking and die-cutting involved on this one which makes it fairly quick to make during these next few busy months.

I started with the background by inking a 4 1/4” x 5 1/2" piece of white cardstock with Tattered Rose Distress ink at the bottom followed by Speckled Egg, Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers. I placed a Forest Trees Stencil across the piece and inked it with Pumice Stone Distress ink. I adhered this piece to an A2 card base.

Next, I die-cut the Tropical Trees Backdrop from light gray cardstock and white cardstock. I adhered the gray frame portion to the card base and set the white snow (sand) portion aside. I just love how this die can also be used for winter scenes!

Before I adhered the snow, I die-cut 3 birch trees from white and dark gray cardstock using the Rustic Winter Dies. I adhered one tree to the right side of the card front and trimmed it along the top where it meets the gray frame. I then adhered the snow to the bottom and added the other 2 trees to the left side. I die-cut the deer from the Rustic Winter Dies from dark gray cardstock.

I stamped the wreath on white cardstock using Northern Pine Memento ink, the bow using Spun Sugar, Saltwater Taffy and Abandoned Coral Distress inks, the pine boughs using Peeled Paint Distress ink and the pinecones using Brushed Corduroy and Walnut Stain Distress inks. I die-cut all these elements using the coordinating dies.

To finish, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Holiday Greetings Stamps with pink embossing powder on white cardstock and inked over the top with Saltwater Taffy Distress ink. I then die-cut it using the coordinating dies.

Joyful Holiday Paper Focused Cards with Kavya and Isha

Hi folks, Kavya here. I am back on the blog with another fun project. I love using the pattern paper from Sunny Studio Stamps whenever I want to add some more color to my cards. They are also perfect for matting! Lately, I have been using them as bases for my 3D cards. Today, I have another fun Christmas themed 3D card that I made using Lawn Fawn’s platform die.

I first started off by creating my base using Joyful Holiday Paper and some cardstock for the back. Ink blended the edges to make them more 3D. 

Then, I stamped and colored a bunch of images from Cozy Christmas. Adhered the images to the base and added a heat embossed sentiment to finish off the card!

Hello everyone! Isha here with a card using various patterns from the Joyful Holiday Paper pack. I love creating layers using patterns and this set has a GORGEOUS collection of patterns, which compliment each other so well.

I started by cutting some of the papers to create the background. Next I die-cut the grey snowflake paper using the Mini Mat and Tag 4 dies. Adhere to the card and flick white paint for a snow feel. Stamp the wreath from the Winter Wreath stamp and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Die-cut the Holly leaves and berries using the Winter Greenery dies, add colour using copic markers. Die-cut some snowflakes using the Lacy Snowflakes dies from silver shimmer paper. 

Stamp the sentiment from the Holiday Greetings stamp and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Assemble everything as per the card.
