Hey there
Sunny fans, Nancy here today with a closer look at a few of my favorite Sunny
Studios stamp sets. I combined Happy Owl-o-ween (owl), A Bird's Life (birds,
nest, bird house), Barnyard Buddies (fence) and a cute sentiment from Cute as a Button to create this every day friendship card.
The
watercolored background was created with a wash of Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn. I
then used a small paintbrush to flick some "grass" and splattering of
dots to make the background look more like grass. All of the stamped images
were watercolored with Distress ink. The sentiment was stamped and embossed in
white creating a nice bold contrast to the olive banner. A sprinkle of sequins
adds a little bit of movement around the nest.
