Gleeful Reindeer Money Pockets by Lexa

Hello crafty friends! Lexa here with another idea using Gleeful Reindeer stamp and it's coordinating dies. One of my friend asked me to make her some money pockets in Christmas theme, I was thinking why not..so today I will show you the result.

Each pocket is sized 3" x 6" so it will fit the money perfectly (in this case I measured the money first to decide the envelope size) I used red cardstock and stamped a reindeer head and some snowflakes from Christmas Icons using tone on tone technique so it's not over the top. I stamped all my images with versafine black ink and watercolored them with Distress Markers. I was thinking I would like to create a little scene for the back panel of my envelope. I started with a piece of white smooth cardstock and blended some Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Inks for the night sky.

Next I put all the pieces together.  The magic snow marker is always perfect for a snow effect on the trees. It gives you extra dimension, so puffy and cute. I also created falling snow with a white gel pen. It's super easy, quick and adorable. Here's a closer look at today's project.

Blissful Baking Sweet Birthday Wishes Card by Vanessa

Hello everyone!  Vanessa here with a short break from Christmas cards! I used Blissful Baking to create a sweet Birthday card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Blissful Baking Sweet Birthday Wishes card by Vanessa Menhorn.

I first stamped the images onto a piece of cardstock, colored them with Copics and die-cut them with the matching dies. Then I adhered the bowl, egg, spoon, butter and glove onto the front of my card. I covered the card with vellum and adhered the pie, the topping and the pipe with foam tape. Now I inked a piece of cardstock with pink ink, die-cut the sweet word from it, backed it with another piece die-cut from fun foam and adhered it. I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of aqua cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it underneath the large word. Finally, I added clear sequins.

The smiling face on the pipe is from the Summer Picnic set. I love adding some personality to the cute images :)

Thank you for stopping by today!

Gift Tags with Lindsey Using Christmas Icons & Tag Topper Dies

Hi, Lindsey here today sharing a tag set I made using the fun Christmas Icons stamp set, crescent tag topper, and fishtail banner II dies. This set is perfect for tag making, and I was able to whip these little cuties up pretty quickly. Let's see how!

To begin, I selected some coordinating patterned paper to create my tag base from. I used the tag topper die and the fishtail banner to create the tag shape. Then I cut some white card stock strips to go across the middle of each tag. That is where I did my stamping. I selected the images and "to/from" that I wanted to use on each tag and stamped them out. I colored all the images using Copic markers. I also used Copic markers to draw a line at the top and bottom of each white piece of card stock. This added some interest and helped pull the colors together. I attached the stamped panel to each tag using some regular adhesive and added a color coordinated reinforcer to the hole in each tag. To finish these tags off, I added some matching twine.

That's it for me today. I appreciate you checking out my project and hope you will try some tags yourself. You can't go wrong with this set because it just makes the tag making process so easy with everything you need in one set. Have a great day!

Merry Sentiments and Festive Friends with Emily

Sunny Studio Stamps: Merry Sentiments & Sending My Love Cat & Dog Christmas Card by Emily Leiphart.

Hi, everyone! Today, I'm sharing a card using the Merry Sentiments mini stamp set. I created a two-line sentiment to frame this festive couple from Sending My Love. After heat embossing and watercolouring with distress inks, I fussy cut the animal heads, bodies and their gifts. The heads and gifts are popped up with foam tape.

The sentiments were first heat embossed on watercolour cardstock. Then I gave a two-colour wash with a large, flat brush, and added bright yellow and black splatter.  I die cut several snowflakes from Santa's Helpers Dies and strategically adhered them to cover up some smudges at the top of the card.

Little Angels Joy To The World Card with Eloise

Hi everyone! Eloise here and today I'm going to be making this soft angels card. Pastel colours are so hard for me, I love bright bold, rainbow colours - but for these angels, I felt they needed to be soft - so I tried my best to do that. I'm using the Little Angels stamp set along with the Semi Circles dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Little Angels Joy To The World Christmas Card by Eloise Blue.

To start off my card today I stamped out all my images on some watercolour paper. I decided I would use my zigs today to colour - since I can get a better softer colour with them. So I used various colours and then once I had finished colouring, I used all the coordinating dies to cut them out. I then took another piece of watercolour paper, stamped and white heat embossed some stars from the same set and then ink blended some blue Distress Inks onto it, fading up to white. I then used the Semi Circle dies and die cut off the top of the piece to make it look like an arch.

I then took a piece of white cardstock and die cut a cloud border on it. Then I stuck it flat to the arch piece. Now I could assemble my card. I took the three clouds I cut and coloured and adhered them down flat onto the top portion of the arch panel. I then used foam adhesive behind the angels and stuck them next to each other. I then used liquid adhesive to glue down the book onto the middle angels hands.

I then took the sentiment banner I had prepared earlier - I just curved the sentiment stamp on my block to get it to fit nicely onto the banner and I adhered it down to the bottom of the arch panel. To finish up my card I took some plaid patterned paper and adhered it to my card base. Then took some fun foam and popped up my entire arch panel and adhered it to the middle of my card base. I then took some clear sequins and adhered them randomly onto my scene and added a little wink of stella on the angels and that finished up my card.

I hope you enjoyed my project today! Very different for me, but I think I like it. Thanks for stopping by and I'll catch you next time!

- Eloise

Merry Sentiments Christmas Lights Card with Stephanie Klauck

Hi everyone, it's Stephanie here and I'm thrilled to be back on the Sunny Studio blog with a new card to share. For today's card I used the new Merry Sentiments stamp set and the Merry word die to create a card using some non-traditional holiday colours.  I love that the light stamps layer to make them look more realistic and it gives them so much detail and dimension.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Merry Sentiments Holiday Lights Christmas Card by Stephanie Klauck.

I first stamped and die cut all of my lights with green, aqua and pink inks and then I added them to silver glittery string to look like a string of lights going across the card. I added the merry sentiment die cut from silver glitter card stock and then stamped the rest of the sentiment above and below the die cut word with the same aqua and pink inks that I used on the lights.

I added the panel to a piece of plaid patterned paper that matched the lights perfectly and then adhered the whole panel to a green top-folding card base. To add some more detail to the lights, I coloured over all of them with a clear glitter marker and then I added Glossy Accents to all of them. I completed the card with a few clear sequins on the card front.

Thanks so much for joining me on the blog today! ;)
