Frilly Frame Eyelet Lace Die Focused Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a happy spring card using the lovely Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace Die.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Frilly Frame Dies Froggy Friends Chubby Bunny Spring Showers Spring Themed Cards by Vanessa Menhorn

I created a card base from two pieces of the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace that I had die-cut from white cardstock. Now I trimmed a panel of cardstock slightly smaller than the base and stamped the scene, always masking the image I had stamped before stamping the next. When everything was stamped and masked, I inked the background with Distress Oxide Inks, creating the pond with a circular mask. Then I applied ink droplets, let everything dry and removed the masks.

I colored the images with Copics and added grass to the pond. Finally, I stamped the sentiment. These are the stamp sets I have used: Spring Showers Stamps (umbrella), Chubby Bunny Stamps (sentiment), Froggy Friends Stamps (everything else).

I hope this hoppy friend made you smile today! Thanks for visiting!

Hi everyone, Anja here and today I'm showcasing the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace Dies. The set comes with a gorgeous scalloped mat and a pretty eyelet lace background which can be used separately or together like I did on this Easter project.

I created a mini card by scoring and folding the scalloped panel in the middle. This size would work perfectly for place cards, too. Next, I partially die cut the eyelet lace pattern from the front side only and adhered a white cardstock piece behind it.

To decorate the front, I combined the cute Chickie Baby Stamps with the Chubby Bunny set. I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored them with my Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. Finally, I assembled the little scene which I think would make a great decorative element on the Easter table.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Until next time!

Enchanted Cards with Franci and Ana

Hello there! Franci here with you today with a magical shaker card featuring the new Enchanted set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Enchanted Everyday Shaker Card by Franci Vignoli

Awww I'm so totally in love with this card! The dreamy castle is so pretty and that royal toad is the cutest ever! I started by making my card base out of white cardstock and cut out a matching panel. I inked the front of my card with Distress inks and cut out a window opening on my white panel.

I stamped all my images, colored them with Copics and die cut them with their coordinated dies. I added some details with a white gel pen and some googly eyes to my toad. I also stamped my sentiment at the bottom and then moved on choosing my shaker embellishments.

I built my shaker with acetate and foam adhesive and I glued all my images on top with a combo of liquid glue and more foam adhesive. I love how all the shaker embellishments go together so nicely (inside my window there are chunky glitters, iridescent pastel confetti and birthday cake dot sprinkles)

Awww I can't stop playing with it, so cute! Hope you like my card as much as I do and thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a lovely day.

Hello crafty friends! Ana here today sharing a card featuring Enchanted stamps and coordinating dies, as well as Spring Scenes stamps and dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Enchanted Spring Scenes Fluffy Cloud Border Dies Everyday Card by Ana Anderson

I started with creating the sky – using my beloved homemade cloud stencils (made with Fluffy Clouds Border dies) and Worn Lipstick distress ink.

I stamped the images from Enchanted and Spring Scenes stamp sets next. I masked the bench from Spring Scenes and created a bit of a different scene. I love that with simple masking you can change the look of your background. Where the bench was masked, I had a small gap between the hills on each side, so I connected them with Copic fine liner.

I colored all my images with Copic markers, and once they were colored, I cut them with coordinating dies. I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx black ink and adhered all imaged to the background panel.

I am just so in love with this fairy tale stamp set – it is so perfect for creating all those adorable magical scenes! Thank you so much for visiting with us today! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Spring Scenes Cards with Leanne and Mindy

Hello everyone! Leanne here and I have a colorful Easter card to share today. I used Spring Scenes and one of my favorite Easter stamp sets, Chubby Bunny, to create this cheerful card. I wanted this scene to have the look and feel of a festive Easter egg hunt out in a grassy meadow.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Spring Scenes Chubby Bunny Fluffy Cloud Border Dies Happy Easter Cards by Leanne West

I started with an A2 size white card base. I created the sky on the top half of the card front with a homemade stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. I used the Fluffy Clouds Border dies to make the stencil. Next was to create the look of a grassy meadow. I used the fence and trees from the Spring Scenes stamp set. These are such great images to help create depth and interest.

The fence die from Spring Scenes only cuts the top so the grass area below the fence can be as deep as you need. After die cutting, I trimmed this piece to fit my A2 card base. I then masked off the fence and used the ink blending method to color the grass area. That shade of green is a combo of Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron Oxide inks.

Next was building the egg hunt part of the scene. I added in all the sweet Easter images which come from Chubby Bunny. For the greeting I used the Happy Easter banner, also from Chubby Bunny. I wanted it to look as if it's hanging over the scene so I hand drew lines that extend to the edges of the card. I also hand drew in the dashed lines for the butterfly trail. I little detail I always like to add with any small flying critter. That completes my card. Thanks for stopping by today!

Hello! It’s Mindy from My Creative ScoopI’m using the Spring Scene Stamps and dies to create this cute Easter Card. I’m also using the Chickie Baby Stamps and Dies and the Fancy Frames Rectangles.

I’ve stamped my images in Memento Black Ink and stamped onto my Copic Xpress it Blending Card – which is my favorite paper to use when coloring with Copic Markers – which is what I colored my images with.

The teal sky I’ve actually used my Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink – which looks awesome against that Happy Easter sentiment. I decided to cover my entire card base with the teal flower patterned paper from the Flirty Flowers Paper Pack.

Thank you so much stopping by. Have a great day!

Chickie Baby Cards with Lynn and Ashley

Hello there! It’s Lynn here and today I’m sharing an Easter card I created featuring the adorable new stamp set Chickie Baby.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Chickie Baby Sunny Sentiment Dies Easter Card by Lynn Put

To create my card, I started out by stamping a bunch of the adorable chick images, flowers and eggs from the Chickie Baby stamp set and then coloring them using Copic markers and die cutting them out using the Chickie Baby dies. Next I die cut a circle of lavender cardstock and heat embossed the Happy Easter sentiment that comes with the set in white embossing powder.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Chickie Baby Sunny Sentiment Dies Easter Card by Lynn Put

For my background I used a piece of tulip paper from the Spring Fling cardstock papers and for along the bottom of my card I used the Sunny Sentiments dies and some green cardstock for the grass. After that I added my lavender circle with my sentiment and adhered my chicks popping up three of the chicks and the bottom portion of the cracked egg using foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi friends! It's Ashley with a springtime card featuring the crazy adorable Chickie Baby set! The chicks in this set are so cute, and they go perfectly with the previously released Chubby Bunny!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Chickie Baby Chubby Bunny Just Bee-cause Spring Showers Spring Card by Ashley Ebben

I decided to go with a slightly different sized card, so I had extra area to work with to include more cute critters. The finished card is 3.5" x 6.25" and fits in a regular envelope. So handy!

I started by blending a bit of Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide for the sky then added Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint Distress Oxides for the grass. I splattered the background with water and light gold watercolor paint for texture and shine. I can never get a good picture of it, but the shimmer on these paint splatters is so lovely!

I stamped several different images in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink so I could color with Copics. I used the chicks from Chickie Baby, the bunnies and basket from Chubby Bunny, the bees from Just Bee-cause, and the butterflies from Spring Showers. I cut everything out with the matching dies and arranged the images on my card, popping a few up with foam squares. I finished with the "hello spring" sentiment from Chubby Bunny.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Enchanted Cards with Nicky Meek

Hi! It's Nicky Meek back with you today as a guest designer for Sunny Studios and I've been playing with the Enchanted stamp set and coordinating dies. I have TWO cards today using the set, so do keep scrolling!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Enchanted Frilly Frame Dies Fairy tale Themed Everyday Cards by Nicky Meek

This first card uses the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace die. I die cut a panel of white cardstock and backed it with foam tape and set it to one side. I took another panel of white cardstock and using a cloud stencil from my stash I ink blended clouds using Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass and Tattered Rose. I edged the panel with more of the Tumbled Glass and applied it to a 110lb white cardstock base. I then ink blended a little focal point on the eyelet die cut using more of the Tumbled Glass and layered it over the cloud stencil background. When the card is handled you can see the clouds through the little openings of the pattern.

On Copic friendly cardstock the images from Enchanted were stamped using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa. They were coloured with Copic markers (choosing colours that worked with the clouds in blue and pink background) then die cut, backed with foam tape and applied to the card base. Cheeks were highlighted with a white gel pen.

The sentiment was stamped on a strip of cardstock and attached with foam tape and I chose some sparkling clear sequins for a magical finishing twinkle.

My second card with Enchanted uses different characters from the stamp set. I ink blended a panel of cardstock using Distress Ink in Tattered Rose. I splashed it with water and blotted it up for a distressed look. I die cut the clouds from the Spring Showers stamp set and ink blended the edges using Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass and either attached them directly to the panel or some were popped up on some on foam tape.

On Copic friendly cardstock I stamped the images again using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa, Copic coloured and die cut the images and backed them with foam tape and applied them to the scene, tucking the castle into the clouds.

I placed the panel into my Misti to ensure I could double stamp the sentiment clearly and I decided to pop up some of it on a strip of cardstock to that it sat nicely with the dimension of the card. I attached the panel to a 110lb white cardstock base and highlighted the cheeks with a white gel pen.

I appreciate you stopping by today to read - happy crafting!
