Hi crafty friends! It's Mona
here, today I am showing you a funny card with the Sweater Vest Die and
Breakfast Puns stamp set.
I started the card making with die-cutting. I made the card
front from blue cardstock and ran it through the Cable Knit embossing folder.
Next I made the other vest elements from mustard yellow cardstock and adhered them
to the right place.
The next step was stamping and coloring. I stamped the images
with the Breakfast Puns stamp set and
colored them with my Copic Markers. After the coloring I fussy cut them.
I styled the colored images on the card, and made "the
vest" words with Loopy Letter Dies from the same mustard cardstock.
I added a white embossed sentiment to the center of my card
and added some shiny and sparkly tiny stars and sequins.
I
really love the result, I hope you too. Thank you very much for reading
through my post, I hope that you have enjoyed it and I have inspired you! If
you want to see how my card works, check my Instagram for

Hello there and happy
Wednesday! Franci here with you today with a summer card full of ... bikinis!! I'm
so excited to show you this project because it's a super fun chance to stretch
your supplies and create something that's completely different :)
I'm in love. With the design, the size,
the colors, the details ... it's all so much fun!
Can you believe it I created
my bikinis with the Sweater Vest set?! Yeah,
I can tell you! I also used the Loopy Letters for some
details and I'm so happy about these turned out!
First of all I created my card base out
of white cardstock and I cut out a slightly smaller panel that I masked and
colored by sponging Distress Inks to create this fun and colorful design. I
also let the ink completely dry, I stamped my sentiments from the Fabulous Flamingos set and
the Happy Thoughts one,
and then I added some sprakle watercolors little splatters here and
there.
I die cut all my bikini tops and bottom
out of some of the new Summer Splash papers and
more out of white cardstock. I used the little shirt collar die for all the
tops and the v-neck one for all the bottoms, then I also die cut additional
tops or bows to decorate my bikinis! It was so much fun, Project Runway I'm ready!
Ha!
I also added more details as the die cut
"bow centers" that were foiled in gold and also epaulets and laces
that were die cut out of white cardstock using the Loopy Letters dies.
Can you find the number 7 as a decor in
one of the bottoms?! And the epaulets are all F letters! There are sooooo many
combinations possible and hope you'll have fun creating your own bikini design
following my card as inspiration!
To complete my project I finally glued
down all my swimsuits with foam adhesive and added some clear sparkle sequins.
I really hope you enjoy this
card and thank you so much for stopping by! Have
a lovely day!
