Christmas Chapel Elegant Merry Christmas Card with Lexa

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with another inspirational idea for Christmas cards. Today, I made a simple, yet elegant, card featuring Christmas Chapel stamp and it's coordinating dies.

When it comes to creating a clean and simple design, I always focus on the color combination and the layout first. Today I chose blue, navy and mint as my color muse. I created my own mask by die cutting a rounded edged rectangle on a piece of acetate. Then I blended some Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks in gradation. Once I was happy with the blending, I stamped the stars from the same stamp set with blue dye ink. The white dots are created with Nuvo Drops, as it adds such amazing dimensions to my card. 

I stamp my images with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. I also stamp a snowy Christmas tree from Christmas Home stamp set to complete my scene. I also bent the "Merry Christmas" sentiment to follow the banner on top -this one of main reason why I love clear stamps! 

The border on the bottom part is to fill in an empty space, but I still want to keep it simple using the smaller Stitched Scallop Dies on navy cardstock against the mint polka dot patterned paper.

Christmas Chapel Banner Christmas Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here and for today's card I'm going super simple using the Christmas Chapel stamp set along with the Fishtail Banners dies to create a Christmas Card.

To begin I stamped out the church from Christmas Chapel and coloured it in with Copic Markers. I then used the coordinating dies and cut it out. I then cut down a strip of watercolour cardstock and used the Fishtail Banners to create a banner at the bottom of the panel. Next, I masked off the bottom of the banner and ink blended some Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress inks over the top for the sky. I then removed the mask and stamped the 'Joy to the World' sentiment from Festive Greetings in black ink.

To finish up, I adhered the church to the banner panel with foam tape, and added some white dots using a gel pen in the background to add a little extra to it. I then used some plaid patterned paper from Lawn Fawn and adhered it to a white card base. Then I used foam tape at the back of the banner and popped it up onto the right hand side of the card.

Christmas Chapel Ombre Background Christmas Card with Nancy

Hey there Sunny fans, Nancy here today with a look at the beautiful Christmas Chapel stamp and coordinating dies. I love the quaint look and feel of this set - perfect for some clean and simple Christmas cards. 

The base of the card was given a pop of color with four ombre shades of blue. This is a simple way to give your cards a bold background that's easy to create. Next a smaller rectangle was cut to center the chapel scene. I stamped the tree and lamp post images from the Christmas Home stamp set just to give the scene a little bit of interest. All of the images were watercolored using Zig Clean Color markers.

A bit of foam tape just under the chapel gives the scene some dimension. A sprinkle of tiny sequins mimics snow and three enamel dots in the far right corner finish off this charming Christmas card.

Snow & Frosty Flurries Winter Background Christmas Card with Lexa

Hi everyone! Lexa here today with a Christmas card inspiration highlighting the brand new background stamps from Sunny Studio, Frosty Flurries and Snow Flurries. And for this card, I'll be combine those two to create my background.

First of all, I embossed the sentiment from Festive Greetings Stamp with silver embossing powder and heat gun. Then I embossed both Frosty Flurries and Snow Flurries, I don't even mind if they are overlapping each other. Then I blended Peacock Feather and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink over the card. The coolest thing about this technique is when you blend those inks on the paper, the embossed stamps will resist. The glossy effect is super cool!

As for my scene, I use the Christmas Chapel and some ornaments from Christmas Home to complete the whole scene. Isn't that snowman the cutest? I stamped all the images with Versafine black ink and watercolored them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I die cut them all with the coordinating dies.

Christmas Chapel Mini Scalloped Shaped Winter Card with Fancesca

Hello there! Franci here with you today with a new festive card! I created a mini scalloped card today with the new Christmas Chapel stamp set and I also added some elements from the Christmas Home stamp set to created this little scene. I think the two sets coordinate so well together. You can really having fun creating multiples village scenes for all your Christmas cards.

I die cut the scallop from a light grey cardstock and I also die cut a coordinating circle out of white cardstock. I then stamped all of my images with Memento black ink, colored them with Copics, and die cut them with the coordinating Christmas Chapel dies and Christmas Home dies. 

I sponged some Salty Ocean Distress ink on my card, starting from the top of my circle and blending to the bottom to create the sky. I then adhered down all the elements with a combination of liquid glue and foam adhesive to add dimension and interest. 

Finally, I glued down my panel to my scalloped card base and added a little red bow at the top. It makes everything even more festive, doesn't it?!

Christmas Chapel Festive Christmas Card with Vanessa

Hello Sunny Studio friends! Vanessa here today with a festive Christmas card using Christmas Chapel, Christmas Home and Festive Greetings. 

I first stamped the chapel, the fence and the tree and colored it with Copics. Now I masked the stamped images and applied various blue inks with an ink blending tool to create the sky. Afterwards, I added droplets of white ink and removed the masks. I tore off a rough edge from a scrap of paper and used it as a mask to apply soft blue ink to the white area to create snow drifts. Then I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink, embossed it with gold embossing powder and adhered the panel to the card base.

Finally, for a festive shine, I applied Stickles to the snow. With these cute new stamp sets, I get into the right mood to create Christmas cards.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Winter Christmas Cards with Elise Constable

We're so excited to welcome Elise Constable back to the blog today as our special guest. She has some gorgeous cards that you are going to just love! 

For her cards today, Elise ink masked off the horizon line of her scalloped die-cut panel before blending on peacock feathers distress ink for the sky.  

She then stamped faint stars in metallic gold pigment ink using the stars from the Christmas Chapel mini set.

All of her images were colored with Copic markers and the sentiments were stamped in VersaMark ink using the Festive Greetings set, which were then heat embossed using gold embossing power.

As a finishing touch, Elise added Frosted Lace Stickles glitter glue to the snow on the house, church, and trees.
