Notebook Die Focused Card with Tina

Hello crafty friends, Tina here featuring the fun and versatile Notebook Tab Dies and Notebook Photo Corners Dies! These sets are perfect for mixing and matching while designing your project. Today I used the vertical Notebook die from one set and the banner die from the other.

For my teal card panel, I cut a white rectangle and inked it up with Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron Distress Oxides. After splattering some water droplets for extra interest, I glued this panel directly to a white card base.

Then, I die cut three notebook pages using pink gingham (Gingham Pastels) and gray striped (Subtle Grey Tones) papers. I also cut three hearts from that striped sheet with dies from Cupcake Shape and Build-a-Birdhouse.

The plan was to create a filing system, so I needed a little pocket to hold my pages. I used my paper trimmer and made a pink rectangle, which was then mounted to the teal panel with foam tape on the bottom and both sides, leaving the top open to insert the pages.

Of course this card wouldn’t be complete without a few cute critters! (Beach Buddies and Fall Friends)!

I selected a long sentiment (Balloon Rides) that would fit perfectly into the banner strip from the Notebook Photo Corners Dies. This sentiment was stamped onto the white banner with Versafine Onyx Black ink and mounted to the pink pocket.

To embellish the card I sprinkled a few teal gems from the Bright Jewels Mix around the sentiment.

Scrumptious Cupcakes Card with Marine

Hi crafty friends, Marine here today to offer you a delicious cupcake from Scrumptious Cupcakes! I created this birthday shaker card using bits and pieces from different sets, and the first thing I did was to create the background. 

I cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches Strathmore bristol smooth panel, and used distress oxide inks to color it. From the center: kitsch flamingo, squeezed lemonade and salvaged patina. As always I splattered the panel with water and white ink to make it less flat, and set it aside to dry.

Next I worked on the shaker panel. I cut a white Bursting Hearts panel, as well as a white frame using a die from my stash. I attached the frame on the front of the bursting hearts panel, and at the back I stuck an acetate panel. Still at the back of the bursting hearts panel, I attached foam strips all along the four edges, added golden heart sequins on the acetate, and then stuck my oxide ink panel on the foam strips to close my shaker panel. I attached it on a card base, and then moved on to the cupcake.

I created it using Lawn Fawn Inks. For the cupcake case I used butter + lemonade + sunflower inks, for the cupcake itself I used doe ink, and for the frosting I used ballet slippers + peachy keen + wild rose inks.

I cut each element using the coordinating dies, and set them aside for a minute because I wanted to add a small background behind my cupcake. As a base I cut a scalloped circle out of a Dots & Stripes Pastels pattern paper using a Scalloped Circle Mat 1 die, and then I cut a gold glitter frame using the same Scalloped Circle Mat 1 die as well a Stitched Circle Large die to create a frame that I attached on the scalloped circle.

I stuck my scalloped element in the middle of the Bursting Hearts panel, and then the cupcake on top using 1mm foam squares. Next I white heat embossed my greeting on a Notebook Photo Corners black banner combining words from Garden Fairy and Panda Party, and I attached the banner below the cupcake.

Crepe Paper Streamers Card with Catherine

Hello Crafty Friends! Catherine here, and today I am sharing a “purrthday” card created with the pretty Crepe Paper Streamers Dies.

For the background, I trimmed a piece of confetti cardstock to A2 size from Surprise Party Paper. Next, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock and a piece of vellum to 3.75” W x 5”H. I adhered the white cardstock and vellum onto the center of the confetti cardstock.

I ink blended several pieces of white cardstock with Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. I die cut two of each color along with two white streamers with the Crepe Paper Streamers Dies. I adhered the streamers across the vellum and I added a white frame using Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies.

I die cut the word “HAPPY” using Chloe Alphabet Dies and ink blended the letters with Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Oxides.

I added the cute cat and cupcake from Birthday Cat Stamps and a present from Happy Owlidays Stamps and colored the images with Copic markers listed in my blog link below. I finished off the card with a White heat embossed sentiment from Birthday Cat Stamps.

Birthday Mouse Card with Isha

Hello everyone, Isha here with you! Today I have a fun and adorable card featuring the Birthday Mouse stamp and coordinating dies. This image is very cute so I went with a monochromatic CAS card to keep this image as my focal element.

I started by sponging salvaged patina, salty ocean and blueprint sketch distress oxide inks to a white panel. Die-cut using the Mini Mat and Tag 4 dies. Flick some white paint. Adhere to a white cardbase.

Stamp the image from the Birthday Mouse stamp set, color and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Adhere to the panel using 3d foam. Add some sparkle to the balloons using the nuvo clear sparkle pen.

Stamp the sentiment from the Big Bold Greetings stamp set. I kept the stamping in ombré color. Die-cut using the coordinating dies. Adhere to the card using 3d foam.

Bright Balloons Card with Bobbi

Hello Sunny friends, Bobbi here. I’ve got lots of Bright Balloons for you today! I am using the new Bright Balloons dies that include four, unique balloon shapes and accent dies to make the highlight marks, too. Use the highlights dies to make holes to show through the colored balloon to a white layered background balloon. 

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I cut all of the balloons, including highlight marks on each one, using the Bright Balloons dies. Before attaching a white balloon to the backs of each colorful balloon, I added an iridescent string to the glue, sandwiched in the middle of the two balloons.

I stamped, colored and die cut the cat in the box using the sets, Birthday Cat stamps and coordinating dies. I cut clouds, using the Slimline Nature Borders Dies, in a light blue and white for the top and bottom of the card.

For the background, I stenciled clouds on light blue cardstock using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and a cloud stencil. You can make your own stencil by using the cloud die to create a mask. Once the background was complete, I attached the balloons, the cat in the box and some bold, hole-punched colorful cardstock confetti. I attached everything in place using foam dots to attach the cat and the yellow, orange and red balloons for dimension. I glued the rest of the pieces to the panel. I attached this A7 front panel to my white card base to complete the card.
