Tiki Time Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a slimline card using Tiki Time. A happy aloha to you:

I concentrated on the smaller stamps of this set. First, I die-cut the stitched rectangle and inked the bottom part with Pine Needles Distress Oxide Ink. Then I stamped the aloha and adhered the panel to the green card base. After I had stamped all images onto white cardstock, I colored them with Copic markers, die-cut the pieces with the matching dies and adhered everything to the card, popping up the elements with foam tape.

These are the sets I combined for the card:

Tiki Time stamps + dies (parrots, leaves, tiny flowers, aloha)
Fabulous Flamingos stamps + dies (pineapple, leaves)
Tropical Paradise stamps + dies (large flowers)
Slimline Scalloped Frame dies (stitched rectangle)

Hi everyone, Anja here with you today. Summer is in full swing and the gorgeous Tiki Time Stamps are just perfect to create a tropical scene with. I adore the hula dancing elephant! I added accessory stamps from two other sets – Fabulous Flamingo (pineapple and watermelon) and Silly Sloths (hibiscus flower and leaves).

First, I ink blended the sunset background with Distress Oxide Inks (Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold) onto Bristol smooth cardstock. For the sand piece, I used Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap and Gathered Twigs and trimmed it with one of the stitched hillside borders from the Slimline Nature Borders Dies set.

Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out.

The word 'Aloha' was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a piece of vellum and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I fussy cut it with scissors leaving a border around the letters. Then I cut tiny strips of foam tape which I hid behind the heat embossed word and adhered it to the background. I also white heat embossed the punny sentiment onto the sand hill. Finally, I assembled the whole scene.

Beach Buddies Cards with Franci and Julia

Hello there! It's Franci here with a cute summer card. Aww the new Beach Buddies set is the cutest ever!! 

First of all I created my card base out of white cardstock, masked the front bottom and inked the top with light blue Distress Ink. Then I removed the mask and stamped my sentiment at the bottom.

I stamped, colored with Copics and die cut all the images and added some details with a white gel pen and some sparkle with the Wink of Stella Clear brush. I glued everything down with foam adhesive into this cute scene and added some clear sequins here and there.

Hello crafty friends! It’s Julia here with a cute little beach card!

First, I stamped all my images from Beach Buddies, Balloon Rides, Beach Babies, Seasonal Tree, and Sending Sunshine onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and I colored them in using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

Then, I ink blended my background, ocean waves, and sandy beach using Distress Oxide inks. For the hills and waves, I used my favorite Slimline Nature Borders! I stamped my sentiment from Beach Babies straight onto the lowest hill in black ink.

Inks used: Antique Linen, Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, Salty Ocean, Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmelade, Salvaged Patina Distress Oxides. 
Zig Markers used: 999; 41, 44; 73, 64, 65; 96; 51, 50, 52; 30, 31.

I adhered my background panel to an A2-sized card base and made sure to leave a nice white border.  Then, it was already time to add all my die cuts and images to my panel with liquid glue.

Gift Card Pocket Die Focused Cards with Isha and Kavya

Hello everyone! Isha here featuring the Gift Card Pocket dies today. I really had fun with these dies and the font works perfectly with our previously released Loopy Letters. I decided to create a Tea Bag Holder using the pocket die from the Gift Card Pocket dies.

Start by creating a 4.25" square card base using white cardstock. I then cut a mat layer from the Classic Sunburst paper pad. Die-cut the biggest of the Scalloped Circle Mat 3 dies using white cardstock. Sponge peacock feathers distress ink, flick water. Adhere to the card. Stamp the word "SWEET" and the candies from the Candy Shoppe stamp set, color and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Add glossy accents to the candies and let dry. Die-cut the word "For You" from the Gift Card Pocket die. Assemble everything together.

Tea Bag Holder / Measurements:
Cardstock for the cover (white) - 11 x 3.25". Score @ 3.5, 4.75, 8.25, 9.5 inches
Cardstock strip for the inner pocket base (white) - 4 x 3". Score @ .5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 inches
Cardstock for pocket base (white) - 3 x 3.25"

Score and fold the outside cover. Adhere pattern paper to the upper flap. Cut a white piece for the lower flap, sponge peacock feathers distress ink, flick water. Die-cut the letters from the Loopy Letters Lower dies to create the word "Tea Time". Adhere to the flap.

Die-cut a white flower from the Window Quad Circle dies. Add pink color towards the center. Apply spectrum noir clear sparkle pen. Fix this flower using a brad to the lower panel in a way so the flower partially covers the upper flap.

For the inside strip fold the scored stripe and adhere using scor-tape as per the diagram OR you can watch the video HERE. Adhere the white flaps. Die-cut five gift card pockets using various colors from the Classic Sunburst paper pad. Score and adhere to the inside white flaps. Add tea bags of the recipient's choice. I folded the edges of the bags which were a bit more in width.

Hi folks, Kavya here. I am back with another card that I had so much fun putting together! This card was inspired by some amazing tacos (if you are in WA, you should check out Tacos Chukis! And guess what it’s Taco Tuesday today!) I had last weekend plus the need to use all my extra stamped images that just seems to be growing! I love packing all my cards (what is CAS? Haven’t heard of it!) so I usually stamp a bunch of images! I got all of them out this weekend and I was determined to use at least 50% of them!

I decided to use make a fun Taco Truck themed card that can hold a gift card for a fun treat! I first started off by stamping and coloring images from Cruisin’ Cuisine (food truck), Balloon Ride (banners, cloud and sun), Looking Sharp (cacti), Fast Food Fun (tacos) and Tiki Time (drinks!). I created my background by using yellow cardstock and brown cardstock - both ink blended with matching colors and splattered ink to add some dimension! 

I then placed the Gift Card Pocket behind the brown land and also placed the food truck on top of it so that it covers the gift card holder. For the sentiment, I used Chloe’s Alphabet and heat embossed ‘BOUT and A from Fast Food Fun and TREAT from Crusin’ Cuisine! I just love it when I can create new sentiments from using multiple stamp sets.
