Sunny Saturday Share: Customer Thanksgiving & Holiday Cards

How are you?  Are you getting ready for the holidays? Despite my best efforts I've managed to come down with a nasty cold/flu this weekend that both my daughters have been suffering from for awhile now.  I thought I was nearly in the clear after a week of not getting it, but sadly I'm just not that lucky after all.  ;)

I couldn't let today pass though without swinging by to share all the AMAZING cards that YOU, our wonderful customers have been creating.  I am constantly feeling blown away!

The Magic Of Christmas Card by Lexa

Hi Sunny Studio friends!  Lexa here with a classic colors choice card, adding more inspirations using your Holiday Style stamp and coordinating dies. I'm so ready for Christmas -it's getting closer.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Holiday Style Jingle Bell Magic of Christmas Card by Lexa Levana.

I think a shaker card is super fun, my daughter is always so excited every time I make one. She will shake it with all her might, making mommy worry it will tear. LOL.

I started with two pieces of white cardstock, one for making a background and the other one for the front panel. I must say that Holiday Style stamp is super pretty, my favorite is the bell, I can't stop staring at it. I'll share a trick how to build this bell, I found it's easier to start with the darkest part to the base/lightest part. As for the bow, I didn't find any difficulties so you can do either way.

For the background of my shaker window, I blend Shabby Shutters and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks then stamped the pine leaves. Not forget the sentiment, the handwritting looks so pretty. What's a Christmas card without some blings? ;) I use pretty sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, Martha Stewarts (tiny clear stars) and die cut some stars from Star Border Dies on a piece of gold foil paper.

I hope I've inspired you today.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Little Angels Card with Vanessa

Hello there!  Vanessa here with a card using the sweet set Little Angels. How cute are these images?

Sunny Studio Stamps: Little Angels Christmas Card by Vanessa Menhorn.

First, I die-cut the curved banner from a piece of cardstock and inked it with light blue ink. I adhered the piece to the bottom of my white card base and trimmed off the excess. Now I stamped the angel, colored it with Copics and die-cut it with the matching dies. After I had adhered it to the card with foam tape, I stamped the silver stars and adhered matching sequins around it.

These little faces are adorable, aren't they? I hope you liked today's card! Thanks for stopping by!

Bundled Up Penguin Card with Lindsey

Hi, Lindsey here today sharing a Christmas card featuring the adorable Bundled Up stamp set. I just love that cute little chubby penguin and of course all of his fun accessories! There is so much that you can do with this set. It is perfect for winter birthday cards or holiday cards. Let's get started on how I created my card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Bundled Up Penguin Cool Christmas Card by Lindsey Sams.

To begin this card, I cut a piece of snowflake patterned paper to an A2 size card base. I knew I wanted the Penguins to be standing in the snow, so I created two snowy hills using a hillside border die. One hill is smaller than the other to create some dimension. Next, I stamped out all of my images from Bundled up onto some white card stock and colored them with Copic markers. I used some fun non-traditional colors for my penguins, and I just think they look so cute. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and then the fun began. I got to "dress" the sweet little guys in their winter gear.

I stamped my sentiment on the front of the first snow bank using some purple dye ink that complimented the snowflake paper I used. Then it was time to put my card together. I used regular adhesive for the back snow hill and popped up the front snow hill and penguins using foam adhesive. This made the Penguins really pop up from the scene. I finished off my card by adding a couple of iridescent snowflakes next to my sentiment.

That's it for me today. Thanks so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed my card. I hope you'll try this fun set. All the mixing and matching options make this set so much fun to create with. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with. Have a great day!

Christmas Icons Holiday Card with Emily

Sunny Studio Stamps: Christmas Icons Santa, Snowman & Reindeer Holiday Card by Emily Leiphart.

I'm sharing a fun card using the Christmas Icons stamp set and coordinating dies. I loved colouring all of these cute images! They're great all together as a collage, as a complement to other Sunny Studio stamp sets, or on their own on tags.

I coloured more images than I was able to fit on my card without overcrowding it. I love having all of these depictions of Christmas on one card. I kept the sentiment simple by combining one of the straight fonts with a scripted one. To finish, I painted the edge of the card base with black gesso and adhered the front panel.
