Beach Babies Beach Scene Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I'll be using the Beach Babies stamp set along with Island Getaway to make a beach scene card using some Copic Markers and Distress Inks.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Beach Babies Island Getaway Beach Scene Card by Eloise Blue

To begin my card, I started off with my background. I used some Distress Inks along with watercolour cardstock for my layers. I first used some Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber Inks for my sand, once I ink blended those on I ripped the cardstock to give that white exposed edge to appear like waves crashing. I then used another piece of cardstock and ink blended some Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch on the bottom and then Tumbled Glass on the top for the sky/sea. Once they were both ink blended, I flicked on some water for that added detail, dried it with a heat tool and then I adhered them together with foam tape. Next, I stamped the images from Beach Babies and Island Getaway that I wanted to use and used my Copic Markers to colour them in.

(Copic Markers Used: RV13 RV25, RV09 / Y21, YR12, YR14 / Y11, Y15, Y35 / YG03, YG13, YG17 / B21, B24, B26 / V12, V15, V17 / E53, E55, E57 / E42, E43, E44 / YR21, YR24, YR27 / E000, E00, E21)

Once all my images were coloured, I used the coordinating dies to cut them all out. I then added foam tape to the backs and arranged them onto my scene. For my sentiment, I white heat embossed the 'It's Your Day' sentiment onto a thin strip of black cardstock and popped that up onto the top right hand side of my card. For a last finishing touch I popped up my panel onto some grey gingham paper from the Classic Gingham Paper Pad.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed and got inspired and I'll catch you all next time.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Kay Miller

Hi there, it's Kay Miller here! I'm excited to be guesting with Sunny Studio Stamps this month! I have two cards to share with you today featuring the adorable Critter Campout stamp set and coordinating dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Critter Campout Friendship Cards by Kay Miller

For my first card, I created the background by blending Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet Distress inks, then spritzed with water to give the look of a starry night sky. The ground and trees I did the same way using Evergreen Bough Distress ink.

All of the cute images I colored with Copic markers, cut out with the coordinating dies, and adhered with foam tape. The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder on black card stock, then cut out and adhered with foam tape as well.

Devoted Doggies Favorite Human Summer Themed Card with Vanessa

Hi everyone! Vanessa here with a card to hopefully put a smile on your face :) What do you need on a lonely island? A doggie to keep you company? Ok!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Devoted Doggies Favorite Human Summer Themed Card by Vanessa Menhorn

I first trimmed a strip from the striped paper from the Rainbow Bright 6x6 Paper pad and adhered it to the card base. Now I inked a panel of white cardstock with blue ink to create the sea and a sky and adhered it. I stamped the images from Devoted DoggiesBeach Babies and Island Getaway, colored everything with Copics, die-cut or fussy-cut the elements and adhered them to the card.

After I had stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of blue cardstock, I notched one end and adhered the strip.

Wishing you a sunny day! Thanks for stopping by!

Fast Food Fun Interactive Punny cards with Franci

Hello! Franci here with you today and i'm super happy to show you my cards featuring the Fast Food Fun set! This set is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! All these foods are so fun and perfect together! It's one of my favorite sets from the new release!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Fast Food Fun Fancy Frames Hello Punny Interactive cards by Franci Vignoli

First, I die cut two stitched rectangles out of some white cardstock. I then die cut two frames out of kraft cardstock, using the new Fancy Frames Rectangle dies.

stamped all the images, colored them with Copics and die cut them with their coordinating dies. I also die cut the word "Hello", four times (2 for each card), from some black cardstock using the new Hello Word die. I glued two layers together to give my script some thickness. Then I coated them with glossy accents and set them aside to dry.

I glued the white rectangles onto some white card bases and I also glued down the frames with some foam adhesive. I stamped the sentiments and adhered down the images with liquid glue and foam adhesive.

I then created two wobbler elements with cardstock and adhered them behind the hamburger and the popcorn to make them interactive! I glued down the super shiny "Hello" scripts and put some Wink of Stella clear here and there to make the images sparkle.

Can't wait to create more with this set!! Hope you like it and thank you so much for stopping by today. Have an amazing day!

Hello Word Die Faux Shaker Card with Juliana

Hello friends and welcome! It's Juliana Michaels and today, I'm sharing a faux shaker card I created using the Hello Word die and Fancy Frames Circle dies. This is a quick and easy way to get the look of a shaker without all the steps involved with creating a true shaker card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Hello Word Die Fancy Frames Faux Shaker Card by Juliana Michaels

I began by cutting the card front from a piece of pink gingham patterned paper which is part of the Classic Gingham 6x6 paper pad. I then die cut the largest Fancy Frames Rectangle die from a piece of white cardstock and layered it onto of the patterned paper.

To create the faux shaker, I took the middle sized die from the Fancy Frames Circle dies and cut two of them from white cardstock. I then used a circle die to cut a piece of vellum and glued it between the two frames.

Next, I took the Hello Word die and cut it from white cardstock. I then adhered it on top of the vellum to give the illusion that it was all one piece. For a touch of whimsy, I added a pink butterfly using the Free Mini Die that you can currently receive with every order from Sunny Studio.

To complete the shaker, I poured some sequins onto the top of the card front. I then adhered the shaker frame on top of it. When adding the sequins, I recommend spreading them out so they aren't piled too thickly on top of each other. The sequins won't be able to move around much with this type of shaker, so once the top is glued down, they will pretty much stay where you had placed them.

For the final touch, I adhered a few sequins to the front of the vellum shaker. Now wasn't that easy?! I hope you enjoyed this bit of inspiration and maybe you even learned a new trick to creating your very own faux shaker cards!

Happy Camper Adventure Themed Happy Place Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here and for today's card I'll be using the Happy Camper stamp set along with some watercolours to create a super simple adventure themed card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Happy Camper Adventure Themed Happy Place Card by Eloise Blue

To begin my card, I started off with all the water-colouring. I pulled a piece of watercolour cardstock out from my stash and painted a circle in the middle with clean water. I then dropped in some black, dark blue and also some light blue to create that night time look. Once I was happy with my background, I set it off to the side to dry.

Then for my trees, I took an additional piece of watercolour paper and used two shades of green to just colour randomly onto the piece. I then set them off to the side to dry as well. For my camper van, I decided to use my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers. I used several toned down colours for it. Once that was coloured I dried all of my pieces and cut them out using the coordinating dies; which for this set has a tree die that I used for the green piece I coloured earlier.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Happy Camper Adventure Themed Happy Place Card by Eloise Blue

Now that all my pieces were ready I added adhesive onto the backs of my trees and onto my camper van and adhered them into place around the circle scene. I then stamped the sentiment 'Go To Your Happy Place' onto the top of my scene with black ink. To finish off my card I used a piece of purple  patterned paper from the Classic Gingham Paper Pad and adhered it onto a card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed and got inspired.
